00:29It's one thing to stand up and cheer for the home run because it is his 300th.

00:47But I just – it's impossible for the Mets fan to put themselves

00:59When you're a player that's only here for a number of years,
01:02there's so many people in those stands that were pissed off when Seaver got traded
01:06or Darryl left or all of the things that they have gone through.
01:09Sean Minaya doesn't know any of that stuff.
01:11And then also, Sean Minaya doesn't know the feeling of a Mets fan going from
01:14Jeff Wilpon to Steve Cohen where everything was supposed to be great
01:18and Shangri-La.
01:19And now he got served up this garbage for the last year and a half.
01:23So, like, he could feel that way.
01:25And I understand how he feels that way because it's like these are our fans
01:27and they're rooting for an opposing player.
01:29But he just doesn't know the history of it enough to publicly comment on that
01:35without getting backlash from the fans.
01:36I know, but I wouldn't – believe me, I'd be the first guy to be ripping a guy,
01:41you know, if he's saying the wrong things.
01:43The way I hear Sean Minaya talking about that, I think it's a –
01:48he has every right to feel that way.
01:50No matter how much money he's making or whatever he's doing,
01:52they don't think about that.
01:53They just think about, wow, we're in our home stadium
01:55and one of the former players that just tied the game is getting a curtain call
01:59and we're trying to win here.
