00:09Integrity splashed down into the Pacific Ocean. Off the coast of San Diego, less than a mile
00:14from the splashdown target, four people, 10 days, during which the crew covered a total of
00:201.1 million kilometers. The last 80,000 kilometers were covered by the capsule in the final eight
00:28hours of the mission.
00:30We followed the final hours of this historic mission together with 5,300 people on the Mars
00:37Chronicles livestream. All four crew members, Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and
00:43Jeremy Hansen, were seen at the end, grinning into the cameras aboard the USS John P. Merthyr,
00:50healthy and in top spirits. Naturally, they were welcomed and greeted in person by NASA
00:57Mars Administrator Jared Isaacman.
