00:00A 15-year-old Alaskan boy was miraculously rescued after three days at sea. The teen
00:05had been fishing for halibut with his two adult relatives when their small skiff capsized earlier
00:10this month. Dramatic footage of the rescue shows the boy, Derek Parker Agnaga, sitting on top of
00:17his overturned boat alone. A passing fishing vessel had spotted him in the water and managed
00:22to pull him to safety, but only him. Neither his brother nor cousin survived. What Derek said when
00:28he was saved was chilling. Adam White, the captain of the fishing boat, told Alaska's news source,
00:34through the teeth chattering, he had mentioned that his brother was still under the skiff.
00:40And the night before the rescue, his cousin had slipped off of that skiff and into the frigid sea,
00:45never to be seen again. But somehow, after days sitting out there in water around 50 degrees
00:50Fahrenheit, this 15-year-old survived. He was showing signs of hypothermia at the time of his
00:56rescue and the boat crew immediately did everything they could to warm him up and keep him talking
01:00until they could reach dry land. A GoFundMe has been set up to support his family and help with
01:05funeral expenses. It's already reached over $40,000.
