00:05Smart glasses, smart TVs, smart air conditioners, the devices we use at home are getting increasingly intelligent.
00:13This is IFA 2026, one of the world's biggest shows of consumer electronics.
00:19This year's theme is the future is now, and it's easy to see why.
00:29At this five-day show in Berlin, one trend stands out – smart devices working together.
00:35CCL calls this vision an NI-inspired life, where artificial intelligence, sustainable energy, and next-generation displays come together in
00:44one living space.
00:45At the heart of it is CCL's screen universe.
00:48From tiny displays and smart glasses, to paper-like phones and tablets, and giant TVs, screens are becoming smart interfaces,
00:57connecting people, content, and the world around them.
01:00We also see a large-scale screen of the screen, such as small to digital computer, to our mobile devices,
01:08and our office for PC, the BIOS, and the display display.
01:14This is a small screen.
01:15Even the scene in our family plays a modern TV model.
01:18With AI technologies to come on, that makes such a smooth display.
01:23This allows these displays and see how other people can interact more immediately and be safe.
01:26This allows these displays to have a person-of-time connection.
01:28TCL has partnered with the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup,
01:33taking place in Berlin at the same time as IFA.
01:36The company says its cinema-scale displays,
01:39using SQD mini-LED and micro-LED technology,
01:43make watching sport at home more immersive.
02:07It's not just the screen panels that are getting better,
02:10it's the software behind them too.
02:12Google TV has built its AI model, Gemini, into compatible TVs,
02:17so viewers can quickly find something to watch
02:20just by describing what they're in the mood for,
02:23or adjust settings simply by talking to the screen.
02:26As the models get better,
02:27they understand the user much better,
02:30they understand the user personalization much better
02:33across the usage on mobile, on desktop,
02:35and now we're bringing that to the TV.
02:37So they deeply know the user,
02:39they know the context of the user,
02:40and within that they can actually help respond
02:42in a delightful and useful way to the user.
02:46Spending more than two dozen buildings,
02:49IFA 2026 covers a huge range of themes,
02:53including beauty tech and well-being.
02:55Everything from high-tech healthcare products and wearables
02:59to exoskeletons supporting physical mobility
03:02and next-generation full-body massage chairs
03:06offering AI-customized treatments.
03:08It's not substituting human beings,
03:12it's just helping us to advance a little bit.
03:15Technology is needed, it is developing,
03:18but still we need human contact.
03:20A part of IFA has been turned into a showcase for humanoid robots.
03:25International research teams take part in the RoboCop competition,
03:29building robots that play football,
03:31picking up required skills along the way.
03:33Heinrich Melmann from Humboldt University of Berlin
03:35compares what's coming to the changes
03:37brought by the internet and smartphones.
03:40When the robots will finally be able to navigate
03:43on the street, in our homes, in the factories,
03:46this will be a much bigger social change.
03:49I don't know which one, so I don't know,
03:51but I know that we need to involve as many people as possible
03:54so that we can scrutinize the issues early on
03:58and develop ideas that are promising.
04:04From translation screens breaking down language barriers
04:08to flying cars promising a new way to move around cities,
04:12IFA 2026 went all-in to live up to its theme
04:15The future is now.
04:17Across every hall, manufacturers from 49 countries
04:20thought how AI and automation
04:22are already making daily life better.
04:27I'm really optimistic to look forward.
04:29Why?
04:30Because it can make your life so much easier.
04:34Also, people who need help,
04:36they can get help with robotic features
04:38or even with robots.
04:40That means you can enjoy your life in a better way
04:43with the technology, not of tomorrow, of today.
04:55It can make your life so much easier.
04:59It's getting that mental unity of what you're doing
04:59Vielen Dank.
