00:04Yeah, after years of waiting, StarCraft is officially coming back.

00:09Blizzard is turning it into an open-world sci-fi shooter, set roughly 70 years after StarCraft II.
00:14The first reveal trailer shows a soldier getting dropped onto an alien planet, gearing up for battle,
00:19and then getting absolutely destroyed when his gun runs out of ammo.
00:22And that's basically all Blizzard has shown us.
00:24No gameplay, no confirmed platforms, we don't even know if it's first-person or third-person.
00:29This isn't Blizzard's first attempt at a StarCraft shooter, though.

00:33Announced way back in 2002, then eventually cancelled.
00:36Then came Ares, another StarCraft shooter that was reportedly like Battlefield, in the StarCraft universe, and that got killed too.
