00:00hello everyone welcome again to another earrings exquisite tutorial so today I'm
00:07going to show you how to make feather earrings feather earrings so just make
00:15sure you have all your supplies I have glue fabric glue this is the kind of
00:21glue that I'm using I have three feathers six feathers all together I had
00:28my jump rings if you can see that I have my me the idol pins I have two of them
00:38I
00:39have my leather cord and tassel caps and I have four of these some gold beads
00:49metallic beads I have the small space of beads and I have these pretty diamond
01:03spaces okay now in your tools remember you have your needle nose plier you might
01:10need you need this is like a chain nose fly all the pliers that squeeze stuff
01:19together this is your wire cutter this is your chain nose plier and this is your
01:26bent nose pliers so I use all of these tools so okay let's get started so first
01:33I'm going to take this head pin this up the needle eye pin because it's a little
01:39bent but when it's bent all you can do is straighten out you never put it in the
01:44garbage never because it could be straightened out see I straightened it out
01:50so now it's fine okay so the first thing I want to do is glue the feathers in so what
02:00I'm going to do is I'm going to cut just a little bit of this stem thing off it okay
02:08for the feathers all right you see there's a little piece right there just cut that
02:15off I just like to cut it off I don't like to have it and you just cut that off
02:22like
02:22that this is the first thing we're gonna do so with your feathers I have some really
02:29pretty feathers here just cut it off I'm cutting them off like just the top like
02:43that little extra piece that's there just cut that off okay now I cut that off okay
02:53let me move this out of my way okay now I'm gonna take some glue and I'm going to
03:02put inside my leather cord in tassel cap this is the tassel cap guys it's brown
03:10because it matches like bronze it matches the color of the feathers so now I got a
03:17small brush and I'm just gonna dip in get some glue out and I'm gonna just put some glue in
03:25there like that
03:29let's put some glue right in right in there okay just like that and now you just stick your feathers
03:42in I'm gonna stick my feathers in there just like that
03:47just stick them in
03:59and you stick the last one in and there you go that's so cool now I'm gonna let it sit
04:08and put it down gently and I'm gonna let it sit so they could it could dry before I
04:15touch it touch it again okay so let that sit for a minute now I'm gonna put some glue
04:22because this glue works pretty fast this glue dries pretty fast so
04:27so I'm gonna hit some more glue and I'm gonna stick it in there like so just get the glue
04:36in there
04:38okay I got enough
04:40and now I'm gonna stick the other earrings the other feathers in just like that that's one
04:49I'll put the black one I'll put the black one in the middle
04:54that's two
04:57because I want it to have a certain look to look a certain way stay feather
05:03there you go and then you put this last one in there we go
05:12I'll have all three of them in
05:19I want it to stay like that and this one to stay like this
05:25like this okay
05:28I'm gonna put it down gently and now I'm gonna let it dry
05:33so while I'm letting that dry and remember those things are called tassel hooks tassel caps tassel
05:43caps they're called leather cord end tassel caps you know like tassels and they make tassels and they
05:49put that end cord on top that thing so what we could do now while that's drying is to build
05:57this part
05:58up right up right here so what I'm gonna start with is I might have too many I want to
06:07start with
06:10putting the jump ring on let's put this jump ring on here
06:16sorry guys I dropped it got it okay so I'm gonna hold this thing to hold the
06:24uh uh jump ring like that and then I'm gonna take this piece to handle the jump ring
06:34like that because I need you need to open the jump ring up just a bit more
06:41and I'm gonna put this part on like that and then I'm gonna close it up
06:53and we have that part so you just hold that part and you just close it up
07:06there you go it always falls I tell you and now just use it to close it up so now
07:13guys that's closed
07:15and now I'm gonna put the other piece on
07:23the other one on
07:32just like that just put that needle pin in there and now you close your jump ring
07:42we may have to open the jump ring again but we'll see we might not and just close it just
07:47like that
07:49now you just start building your beads on for your gold bead
07:58and the diamond bead like that and then one of these I wanted it to be like this maybe I'll
08:10just have
08:11it like that so see how pretty that looks I won't put the little bit the little beads on and
08:17then
08:19I'm gonna just make a hook yeah we're gonna have to um open the jump ring again just turn it
08:27if you
08:28right hand you turn to the right if you left hand you gonna turn to the left but I'm a
08:32righty
08:32so I turn it to the right and then you make a hook
08:41coil it so that it looks like question mark and then you just take your uh earring hook
08:53and put it right on and then you gonna close it
09:02like that so now just gonna close the whole thing
09:09I'm gonna hold it down
09:15and you just close it I love to use this bent nose tool because it closes nicely things so
09:23I really love this tool and there you go you have this part is all ready now let's do the
09:30other side
09:33let's check on this earring see if it's ready because it should be dry now it does dry pretty fast
09:45so let's just do the other part I got my jump ring I got my needle eye pen and now
09:51I'm putting on my beads
09:53I'm gonna put this bead on with this uh spacer diamond spacer and another bead
10:03okay okay just like that and now I'm going to close it just like that you turn it to the
10:12right
10:14just like that so that it looks
10:21and now you're going to coil it over
10:25coil it over just like that
10:29just like that and then you take your earring hook and you put your earring hook on so it
10:35should look like that guys and then you just put your earring hook on
10:41just like that and now you continue to close it
10:45then I like to grab my bent nose pliers and I put it down like that so I can see
10:53it
10:54and then I close it more now it's closed so I made sure it's closed
11:01now we have all that part done so now the only thing to do now is open that jump ring
11:13again
11:14I should have did the jump ring last I should have did the jump ring last
11:20but we're gonna get it open again
11:24let me take this this uh tool
11:30hold and hold it again and I'm gonna take my bent nose pride too and I'm gonna open it
11:38and now I'm going to put this on
11:49just like that there you go and now I'm gonna close it up
11:54there you go now it's closed guys see
11:59you got a pair of feather earrings aren't that isn't that cool isn't that so pretty
12:08that's your first pair
12:11here you go feather earrings I love it now again we're gonna take this jump ring
12:19and I'm going to open it up back up
12:26just trying to find where the slit is so I can open it I think it's there
12:36okay it wasn't there when you close it it's kind of hard to see where the slit is
12:45I closed it good so now I have to just find the slit okay found it okay so we can
12:54put that back on
12:59down the slit
13:03I'm gonna put this one over here like that and then I'm gonna take this earring oh come on here
13:15we go
13:16just try it again I'm gonna put that there
13:21and I'm gonna take this part and put it there
13:27it's okay guys I got it and then I'm gonna put that back
13:35on now I'm going to close it
13:41I got it nice and tight okay here we go
13:51just like this push that one down okay one more time there you go I got it on now I'm
13:58gonna close it guys there we go
14:01let's just close it up and now you have a set of beautiful earrings see
14:12there you go
14:14they look great there's your set of earrings and that's it for this tutorial guys that is what you do
14:23it's really easy I know for some of you you might say oh that's so hard it's too hard but
14:29you have to practice
14:30because that's how I learned I practice and I learned from YouTube and boy let me tell you
14:37I was just terrible terrible at doing this I'm telling you I
14:44was a mess but I somehow managed to get it and you know I got it and it works
14:55you know and I'm happy and you know now that I I don't know how to make earrings
15:02things you know I think it's easy it's fun especially once you master it and you learn
15:10how to get it and I just fixed this one a little bit just to try to you know match
15:15it with the way
15:15that one looks so it looks like that but they look beautiful I love them I'm gonna wear them when
15:25I go back
