00:43it means Marvel is at least thinking about bringing these darker, more supernatural characters

01:57Now, the Midnight Suns talk is really exciting because it opens up so many possibilities. For
02:03those who might not know, the Midnight Suns are a team of supernatural heroes in the Marvel comics,
02:08and they've been rumored to be in development for a few years now. Isaac's comments seem to confirm
02:13that there's at least some truth to those rumors, even if nothing has been officially announced by
02:19Marvel Studios yet. At one point, composer-turned filmmaker Michael Giacchino was believed to be
02:25attached to direct the movie since he previously helmed the Werewolf by Night special presentation,
02:31which had a similar spooky, horror-adjacent vibe. But so far, there's been no official word on whether
02:37that's still happening or if they're looking at other directors. Still, the fact that Isaac is openly
02:43talking about it is a good sign because it means the conversations are happening at a high level.
02:48Isaac also mentioned that he would love to see Moon Knight go toe-to-toe with Ghost Rider,
02:53which is a matchup that fans have been dreaming about for years. And interestingly enough,
02:59Ryan Gosling has actually expressed interest in playing the MCU's Spirit of Vengeance, so that's a
03:05pretty perfect pairing. When Horowitz brought up Gosling's interest, Isaac's response was simple but
03:10enthusiastic. Make it happen, fellas! It's such a fun moment, because it shows that Isaac is totally
03:16on board with crossing over with other characters, and he's clearly excited about the potential for
03:21Moon Knight to interact with the wider MCU. And it's not just Ghost Rider that he's interested in,

03:33in the first season. But here's the thing. Even though there's all this excitement about Midnight
03:39Sons and potential crossovers, fans are still waiting for a second season of Moon Knight itself.
03:45The first season premiered on Disney Plus back in March 2022, and it ran for six episodes,
03:51introducing us to Mark Spector, Steven Grant, and eventually Jake Lockley. The show was a huge hit,
03:58and fans have been clamoring for more ever since the season ended, especially because of that mid-credits
04:04scene that teased the Jake Lockley alter ego. That was such a huge moment, and it felt like a clear
04:10setup for more stories to come. But unfortunately, despite the 4K UHD packaging for Moon Knight labeling
04:17it as the complete first season instead of the complete series, we still don't have any concrete
04:23news about a second season. It's a little frustrating, because the show was so well-received,
04:29and there's so much more to explore with these characters. That said, the MCU hasn't been completely
04:35devoid of Moon Knight content since the show ended. The character has popped up in a couple of other
04:41projects, like What If Season 3 and Marvel Zombies. But both of those are set in alternate universes,
04:47so they're not a direct continuation of the version we were introduced to in the live-action show.
04:53For example, the Moon Knight that appears in Marvel Zombies is actually a Blade variant,
04:58not Mark Spector, which is a little confusing if you're hoping for a direct sequel. So it's not
05:04quite the same as getting a proper second season or a live-action movie appearance. Still, it's nice
05:10to know that Marvel hasn't forgotten about the character entirely, and they're finding ways to
05:15keep him in the conversation. The news about Ryan Gosling playing Ghost Rider is also a huge deal,
05:21because it's been officially announced that a Ghost Rider movie is slated for release in
05:262028 as part of the MCU. That was confirmed recently at San Diego Comic-Con during Marvel
05:32Studios' Hall H panel, so it's definitely happening. And when Gosling does take on the role, that would be
05:39a massive get for Marvel. He's a huge star, and he's got the charisma and intensity to pull off a
05:45character like Ghost Rider. Plus, the idea of him crossing paths with Oscar Isaac's Moon Knight is
05:51just too good to pass up. They're both characters with a darker, more supernatural edge, and they could
05:57bring a really unique dynamic to the MCU. It would be a great way to expand the supernatural side of

06:03franchise and introduce some new, darker storylines. It's also worth noting that Isaac's comments about
