चलचित्र अभियान और गोरखपुर न्यूज़लाइन की टीम पहुँची योगी आदित्यनाथ के अपने शहर गोरखपुर की कांशी राम कॉलोनी में । प्रदेश आवास विकास परिषद ने वर्ष 2007 में मायावती की सरकार बनने के बाद प्रदेश के तमाम जिलों में गरीब लोगों के लिए कांशी राम आवास योजना के नाम पर स्कीम लांच की थी । तब लोगों को घर मिल गया था लेकिन आज वहां के हालात बहुत बुरे है । उनके मकान जर्जर हैं । तब से लेकर आज तक वहां पर सरकार ने कुछ काम नहीं किया हैं । बारिश आने से लोगों के मकानों में पानी भर जाता हैं । बिजली , पानी की बहुत बड़ी समस्या है । कांशी राम कॉलोनी में रहने वालो मज़दूरों का कहना है कि जब से भाजपा सत्ता में आई तो मानों कांशी राम गायब ही हो गए ।

The team of ChalChitra Abhiyaan and Gorakhpur Newsline reached Yogi Adityanath's Kanshi Ram Colony in his hometown of Gorakhpur. After the formation of Mayawati's government in the year 2007, the State Housing Development Council had launched a scheme in the name of Kanshi Ram Awas Yojana for poor people in all the districts of the state. Then people got home but today the situation there is very bad. Their houses are dilapidated.

Since then, the government has not done anything there. Due to the rains, people's houses get filled with water. Electricity and water are huge problems. The workers living in Kanshi Ram Colony say that since the BJP came to power, it was as if Kanshi Ram had disappeared.
