00:05My man Stallion's here.
00:07B. Mitch is here.
00:07We're ready to get some bleeps going.
00:09We're at the BigBear.ai Performance Center, Ashburn, Virginia.
00:13Commander's practicing ahead of Week 1's matchup against the Eagles.
00:16Let's start with a bleep you to the Eagles.
00:18B., you can abstain.
00:19Bleep you to the Eagles.
00:21Bob Biagi told me a funny joke last night.
00:23Stallion, you ready for this?
00:25Let's hear it.
00:26What's worse than an Eagles fan?
00:28I don't know.
00:29Nothing.
00:30Yeah.
00:33Juan is in Fairfax.
00:34Juan, kick us off, brother.
00:35Who you mad at?
00:38I'm mad at all these dumb people just putting out these rankings about my football team,
00:42Washington Commanders.
00:43They're putting us at 31st, and these dudes only know what they're talking about.
00:47So I want to bring all to all those people that actually don't want to put these
00:51daggone things out, these rankings about my team, bro.
00:54And I don't appreciate it.
00:55It is ridiculous to me.
00:57You're going to put us at 31st?
00:58Come on, bro.
00:59If we haven't even played a game yet, you want to put us at 31st.
01:02So bleep you to all those people that couldn't even break things out about my football team.
01:08Y'all have a good one, man.
01:09All right, bro.
01:10Appreciate you, Juan.
01:10Appreciate the passion.
01:11Tell them, Juan.
01:13Let's go to L.
01:13What's wrong with them?
01:14Andy is in D.C.
01:15What's up, Andy?
01:18Guys, I have to give a bleep you to my wife today.
01:21Whoa, whoa.
01:22She's an Eagles fan.
01:23Okay.
01:24Well, she's an Eagles fan.
01:25All right.
01:26And I was watching the game last night.
01:28I pulled up Instagram.
01:29And all of a sudden, I see all these accounts.
01:32Eagles, Jalen Hurts, Cooper DeGene.
01:35I come to find out she went in my Instagram and started having me follow all these Eagles
01:40accounts.
01:40And I was like, you've got to be kidding me with this.
01:42I don't need to see any of this nonsense.
01:43That's funny, though, but I get that it makes you mad.
01:46Oh, it's funny.
01:47Yeah, we were laughing this morning pretty hard, but, you know, it's a little bit of
01:51a bleep you, and it's rivalry week, so it's a fun time in our house.
01:55All right, man.
01:56I like that call.
01:58That's funny.
01:59That is crazy.
02:00So you pull up your account.
02:02You go, what the hell?
02:04Yeah.
02:06Eagles for life.
02:08And he don't know how many he probably put there.
02:10That's true.
02:11Let's go to Charlie.
02:12Our guy, Charlie, in College Park.
02:14Charles, how are you?
02:16I'm getting better, man.
02:19I'm getting better.
02:20Great.
02:21You guys may not like this, but.
02:24No politics, Charlie.
02:26Leap all of us.
02:29What?
02:29Leap all of us.
02:32The whole country, the world, for not speaking up about the tankers that are being damaged
02:37and sunk in straight-of-home mode, and we're killing the oceans.
02:41When we kill the oceans, we kill us.
02:44Come on.
02:45Charles, how are you?
02:46All right, bud.
02:47All right, man.
02:49It's supposed to just be a fun, goofy segment.
02:51I like the call where the dude's wife followed all the Instagram accounts.
02:56This is sports talk radio.
02:57We talk about football.
02:59We try to be a fun distraction, if that's a fair synopsis, from the real world.
03:07This is sports, dudes, laughter.
03:11Tim is in Fredericksburg.
03:12What's up, Tim?
03:16Tim, what's happening?
03:20Tim's gone, maybe?
03:23Terpenes.
03:24Terpenes.
03:25What up, Tim?
03:26How you doing, man?
03:27What's going on, brother?
03:28But I definitely want to say, bleep the national media 1,000%, man.
03:32We haven't even played it down yet, and they're already counting us out.
03:36Definitely frustrating.
03:38On top of that, the Hall of Fame voting, bleep all of them.
03:42Because, B-Mitch, you need to be in there every year.
03:45You ain't frustrates the crap out of me.
03:47Just want to say we love you out here, brother.
03:49Appreciate you, man.
03:50Appreciate you, man.
03:51Good call.
03:51So, I actually want to talk about the Hall of Fame, because I'm really mad.
03:57I understand the voting process on a pretty good level.
04:01Like, I've been in the hotels when they have the meetings around the Super Bowl when they actually vote.
04:06I understand the process as it's currently constructed.
04:12And what's happened is the Hall of Fame made significant changes to the process over the last couple months.
04:18And the reality is, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has always been an independent entity of the NFL.
04:26But, they just announced this $100 million renovation with NFL owners kicking in for Canton.
04:32Roger Goodell now has a seat on the Hall of Fame board.
04:35Basically, the NFL is taking over the Hall of Fame in reality.
04:39And in turn, the owners are going to make this process way easier for other owners to get in.
04:46That's the reality.
04:47And so, what they've done, they've eliminated the modern era versus senior committee.
04:57It used to be, if you don't get in in the modern era, five years after you retire through 20
05:02years, then you wait five years and you go to the senior committee.
05:05And a senior person always got in.
05:07Somebody got voted in.
05:09That's how Roger Craig went in this last year.
05:11They have basically eliminated that by getting rid of the senior committee.
05:16But they kept, listen to me closely here, folks.
05:18This is how the owners get in.
05:19They kept the coaches and contributors category.
05:22So, now all players are all lumped in together.
05:25There's no more senior committee.
05:27And in turn, I think that is going to screw a lot of senior players that have real candidacy and
05:35real merit to go into the Hall of Fame.
05:37Not the least of which is the man sitting to my right.
05:40But there are plenty of others.
05:41Roger Craig should have been a Hall of Famer.
05:43A long time ago.
05:44He only got in because of the senior committee.
05:46There's a number of players that have gone in that way.
05:49And these changes to eliminate the senior category but keep the coaches and contributors, they claim it's because of Belichick.
06:00I claim it's because of Kraft.
06:02Because Kraft wants in and they didn't let him in.
06:04Yeah, that's it.
06:05It's absurd.
06:08And it really pisses me off.
06:10And who knows?
06:12Things can happen.
06:13Everything is still on the table, certainly.
06:15But getting rid of the senior committee is a joke and a farce if you do it in accord with
06:21keeping the coaches and contributors.
06:22Because the contributor is only going to be owners.
06:26Yeah, John Madden, maybe one day a dude like Jim Nance gets in there.
06:30But the contributors are going to be incredibly small.
06:33It's going to be owners that go in.
06:34Oh, yeah.
06:35And it's driven by Robert Kraft.
06:37Because he's pissed he didn't get in.
06:39And then they change the rule for Belichick under the disguise.
06:42Belichick should have gone in, too.
06:44That's a joke.
06:44That was a hell of a joke right there.
06:47That was my – I've been saving that for some time.
06:50I'm pissed about it.
06:51Now, back to the calls.
06:52Our guy, Jupe, is on the line.
06:54What's up, Jupe?
06:56What's going on, fellas?
06:57Hey, first of all, bleep Charlie, dog.
06:59I'm going to start calling that man Captain Planet.
07:02I'll do nothing to the ocean besides fish and swim.
07:04I'll throw no trash in it.
07:06I'll keep the ocean clean.
07:07Then I'm going, let's get the trash talking early for these football people.
07:11Bleep, any and everything, non-commander.
07:15And as a matter of fact, bleep half of this commander fan base, these fools, talking about they trying to
07:21cancel our season before we even play week one.
07:24You big, lit, sidewalk GM Bammers.
07:27And then bleep Sam for last week for keeping me on hold for that long.
07:32His forehead's so big, I bet he can headbutt meteors back into space.
07:36That's all I got for y'all fellas.
07:38That was a great call, Jupe.
07:39That was good, Jupe.
07:53I think it was Max.
07:54Max.
07:55Poor Max.
07:56Max was here last week.
08:00I got an explanation on terpenes, B.
08:02I know we had an A and a M in it.
08:04I didn't know what it was Sam, though.
08:07It's Jonesy, baby, tells me the terpenes are the different, like, makeups of the flower.
08:12Different terpenes make you feel different things.
08:14Tired, hungry, uplifting, creative, et cetera.
08:17Yeah.
08:17There you go.
08:18Well, basically, everybody that smoke always hungry, so all of them must make you hungry.
08:21We're learning stuff today.
08:22Hall of Fame screwed the senior committee, and terpenes get you baked.
08:25Let's go to Colin in Reston.
08:27What's up, Colin?
08:29Hey, what's up, guys?
08:30I'm actually not too far from you guys.
08:32I'm at that Wawa right by the facility.
08:34Bring me a Diet Coke talk and a sub.
08:37Hey, man, I don't know if they'll let me through that gate, but I'll try.
08:40They won't.
08:42Oh, man.
08:43But I want to give a big bleep you to my friend who's a big Seahawks fan.
08:47He got bailed out last night.
08:48You know, quarterback goes down, still gets the win.
08:50But I want to give him a bleep you, man, because he's always telling me I've never seen my team
08:54win the Super Bowl.
08:55I'm 20.
08:55Of course I haven't.
08:56But the thing is, man, I understand my heritage.
08:59And, listen, man, he just pisses me off a lot, always talking about how he gets to see all these
09:03Super Bowls.
09:03But that's all I got, man.
09:04Big bleep you then.
09:05See you guys.
09:06Bleep him.
09:08Bleep him.
09:09I'm with that.
09:10Well, I know we're on 980 because Pauly's on the line.
09:13Hello, Pauly.
09:14What's up, Pauly?
09:14How do you do?
09:15What's up, 980, Pauly?
09:16That's what we should call him.
09:17Not 757, 980.
09:20Hell to the W, man.
09:22Big bro.
09:22How you doing, man?
09:23I'm great, brother.
09:24Hey, I'm going to add a bleep you to JP because he says it every time.
09:28I'm going to keep saying it.
09:31But I'm going to tell you, I want to give a big, super big, big max-sized bleep you to
09:36Chris Russell.
09:37I like that.
09:38Bleep you to Chris Russell.
09:38So, anytime I can have a free opportunity to bleep Chris Russell, I'm going to bleep Chris Russell.
09:44I love it.
09:45I also want to bleep you of all these Virginia Tech fans.
09:50It was VMI.
09:51You know, I act like y'all Super Bowl contenders now.
09:54It was VMI.
09:56Calm down.
09:56Bleep you.
09:57L to the W, man.
09:59Good call, Pauly.
10:00All right, Pauly.
10:00Yeah, you know, bleep you to Russell, seconded.
10:03Since Russell has moved to the big drive-time slot, he's just blowing us off.
10:08I tried to book Russell earlier this week.
10:10He said, no, I'm busy.
10:12Yeah, he was over there eating all my free hot dogs the other day.
10:15What?
10:15Oh, at the stadium?
10:16Yeah.
10:18Jeff paused you, dude.
10:19Jeff, stop, bro.
10:23He wasn't eating no, no, stop.
10:28Jeff is the glizzy goblin of the crew.
10:30I think he, and he eats glizzies all the time.
10:34Jeff, you ever bleep you?
10:35Bleep Jeff.
10:36Yes.
10:37Bleep JP for calling me a glizzy gobbler.
10:40B-Mish called, bleep B-Mish, he called me ugly at the taps last night.
10:44I think he called you ugly on television.
10:46Yeah.
10:46I only highlighted your purse.
10:48It's a European over-the-shoulder man bag.
10:51Merse.
10:51But bleep y'all.
10:53Shout out to Jeff.
10:54Hey, man, European over-the-shoulder man bag.
10:58Too many damn words.
10:59Purse.
11:00Merse.
11:00Yeah, there's another word for it.
11:02Purse.
11:03Lapp is in D.C.
11:04Lapp, what's up, dude?
11:07Hey, what's up, B-Mish?
11:09What's up, JP?
11:10What up, brother?
11:11Man, I'm going to say bleep the PG County Police and bleep the MVA, bro.
11:16I had these tickets, and I'm trying to, you know, renew my registration.
11:20So, you're going to charge me an MVA registration fee on top of the tickets that I owe, and then
11:28the tickets, they charge a fee, you know what I'm saying, if it's late now.
11:32It's my fault for that, but I'm just like, dang, y'all just getting money out of all of
11:36us.
11:37Oh, man.
11:37My tags haven't even came yet, so then I get a ticket in front of my house, bro.
11:43I'm like, I didn't just drop $1,700, so I'm upset with them, bro.
11:47Like, it's crazy, man.
11:49Lapp, you should be talking to Jeff, man.
11:51You owe the MVA, you owe the tickets, man.
11:52Pay it, man, because they'll show you no mercy.
11:54I just thought I had more time, because once I renewed my, you know, my registration, I
11:59would have been fine, but I didn't know who was going to charge me an extra fee on top
12:02of another fee, so it's just crazy.
12:04Dude, Lapp, talk to Jeff, man.
12:06Have Jeff, talk to Jeff in the break.
12:08I guarantee he owes more tickets than you owes.
12:10Yeah, Jeff, who do you owe more to, D.C. or Maryland?
12:16D.C.
12:17My Maryland tickets almost paid off.
12:20Almost.
12:21Oh, I got $300 more on my Maryland tickets.
12:24How many you started with?
12:25I started with $15, honey.
12:27I commend you, bro.
12:28They both was greedy trying to get money out of us, man.
12:31It ain't about safety, man.
12:32It's the money they making.
12:34It's definitely not about safety.
12:35It's absolutely about money.
12:36Even some of the tickets that I got in New Carlton, it's flagging people for turning
12:42right, bro.
12:43It's not like we running through the light.
12:45It's flagging us for turning right.
12:46We can turn on red in New Carlton.
12:49It's crazy, bro.
12:50Bro.
12:50That is crazy.
12:51Thank you for the call, man.
12:52Sorry about the tickets.
12:53That sucks.
12:54800-636-1067.
12:56800-636-1067.
13:00Commander Tequila is on the line.
13:02Let's get weird.
13:04Speaking of terpenes.
13:05Hey, you guys.
13:06Hey, bud.
13:07My wife has a bleep deal, and she wants to bleep JP because JP thinks the Cowboys are going
13:15to win the division.
13:17So, like, okay.
13:19I'll tell you that.
13:20Thank you, wife.
13:21I hope I'm wrong.
13:22I think Dallas rebuilt their defense, and I think their offense can go.
13:26You've been to Dallas for how many years already, buddy?
13:28What?
13:30You've been to Dallas for how many years already?
13:32Zero.
13:34He likes to wear blue and silver.
13:38I was wearing burgundy last night.
13:40I see.
13:41He did.
13:42And my bleep deal is to Jupe.
13:45He got some big old lips, and he put a whole sheet of cornbread in his mouth.
13:52He didn't want to share the cornbreads.
13:54He didn't add no butter to it.
13:56So, I want to bring Jupe and his cornbread lips.
13:59The whole sheet of cornbread.
14:01How can that man do that with his lips?
14:04Cornbread lips.
14:05Jeff, did you want to respond there?
14:07I got lost in the middle of it.
14:10I don't know what the middle part was.
14:12Can you repeat the whole thing over?
14:13I don't know that.
14:14No, not the whole thing, no.
14:16I think we're good there.
14:17He said he had cornbread lips.
14:19He put a whole pan of sheet, he said, of cornbread in his lips.
14:25That's a statement.
14:27Thank you, Commander.
14:28Always great to hear from you.
14:29Tell your wife I say hello.
14:31800-636.
14:34800-636-1067, 800-636-1067.
14:39Stallion, did you have a bleep you?
14:40You looked like you were primed.
14:42Yeah, I actually do have one.
14:44And it's kind of out of nowhere, but a few weeks ago I went up to New York.
14:48Every time I go up to New York, I take the Amtrak.
14:52Bleep Amtrak.
14:53It sucks.
14:55It gets delayed a lot.
14:56Everyone tells me that the train is the best way to get up to New York.
15:00It is the best way to get to New York.
15:01Did you do a cello?
15:02Yes.
15:03You did?
15:04And they were delayed?
15:04What happened?
15:05So, well, first off, I sat next to a guy that was, no joke, probably a mobster.
15:10Talked to him way too much.
15:12Yeah, you were sending us pictures of him.
15:13I was.
15:14What made you think he was a mobster?
15:16Well, he had a lot of stories.
15:18He had a lot of stories in Little Italy back in the day when he grew up.
15:22And he told me way too much.
15:25What made him think that you wanted to hear all that?
15:28You were probably so into it.
15:30Well, tell me something else.
15:32No, no, no, no, no.
15:34At first, I had my headphones in, and he nudges me.
15:37And he's like, do you have a charger?
15:40And I'm like, yes, I do.
15:43I have a charger.
15:43Because I was going to pull up my charger eventually.
15:45I wanted to say no.
15:46And this guy was telling me mob stories.
15:48He thought he was going to kill you.
15:49That's why you got it.
15:50Well, did he buy you a drink?
15:51He did eventually buy me a drink.
15:53Oh, he could have put something in there.
15:54Oh, he probably.
15:55Do you think he roofed me?
15:56No.
15:56No, no, no.
15:57No, God, no.
15:59But he was one of the most interesting guys I'll ever meet.
16:02But I will say.
16:02What's the wildest story?
16:03What happened?
16:04So you met this dude.
16:05He was kind of annoying.
16:06Was the train delayed or anything?
16:08No, I just had to sit next to that guy.
16:10And on planes, you don't get that.
16:11You could have moved?
16:12Not in the SLA.
16:13You have an assigned seat.
16:14Yeah.
16:14It was a book train.
16:15If you get on the plane and you sit next to somebody annoying, you can't move either.
16:19Yeah.
16:20If anything, bleep you to the mobster that intimidated you, but not the train.
16:23Yeah.
16:23The mobster is my guy.
16:25I got his number.
16:26So what are you mad about?
16:27And then here's the thing.
16:28He tries to pitch himself to come on the show.
16:30And I'm like, no.
16:31I don't know.
16:32So he's a brain surgeon or something, supposedly.
16:35And some ad in Times Square.
16:37Weep yourself for being a punk ass and letting them intimidate you like Jay said.
16:42He was an intimidating guy.
16:43I can't lie.
16:44CJ is in Falls Church.
16:46Hello, CJ.
16:48Hey, JP.
16:49Hey, D-Mish.
16:50How are you guys doing today?
16:51Good, dude.
16:52How are you?
16:53Oh, hang in there.
16:54Listen, I want to bleep the Nats, man.
16:57I'm just fed up with Blake Dutera, his managing style with the Nats, and the rest of the leadership
17:08for how they've run the Nats.
17:10Those guys were on the roll.
17:12They decided to trade some players, and now it's like they're just taking the wind out
17:20of the team.
17:21So bleep you to the Nats.
17:22Fair call, CJ.
17:24Listen, man.
17:25They were a lot of fun to watch, and then they sold off a couple pieces and went in the
17:29tank.
17:30And Stallions to Boner got all out of whack when the caller said, bleep you to the Nats.
17:34But, like, fans are allowed to feel that way, dude.
17:36They're 13 games under .500.
17:38I 100% agree with that.
17:40But Butera has done an incredible job.
17:43An incredible job.
17:45With the talent that's on this team.
17:46They're 14 games under .500.
17:48Agreed.
17:49But they were in a playoff position a month and a half ago.
17:52They lost seven in a row.
17:53What's the talent?
17:54James Wood has been out.
17:55I mean, now he's back, obviously, in the lineup.
17:58But that's an oblique injury.
17:59That sucks.
18:00CJ has had, like, three hits over the last 10 games.
18:03You have no issues with the way Butera runs his bullpen.
18:06So you're blaming all the players?
18:08Well, who do you?
18:09No, no, no.
18:09I don't blame him.
18:10I blame it on the talent that we have in the building, which starts at the top, which is,
18:14in my opinion, the ownership.
18:15And they have not spent the money.
18:18That's a fact.
18:19That is the fact there.
18:20You can't blame it on Butera.
18:21At this point, next season, let's talk.
18:24Look, there's some stuff.
18:26The addiction to the analytics at times can frustrate me.
18:30You live and die by it, 100%.
18:33You don't have to.
18:34It's not like a city code that you're not allowed to trust your gut with a guy's actually pitching well.
18:40And I agree with that.
18:41You're right.
18:42No matter what.
18:42I agree.
