00:00The controversy over Flock cameras only continues to get worse and now it's spread into high school campuses where students
00:05are realizing that they might be surveilled by automated license plate readers.
00:10There are hundreds of Flock cameras in schools across the country and some districts have gotten themselves into massive controversies
00:17as it was revealed that they were sharing their data with multiple law enforcement agencies and even immigration control.
00:23Some schools even have more cameras than the local cities that they are based in and Flock even advertises their
00:30own products directly to schools.
00:31They say that they can create a perimeter around campus that alerts authorities or alerts administrators when somebody who is
00:38not wanted on campus is detected.
00:41But some high school students are saying that this violates their Fourth Amendment right which is supposed to protect them
00:46from unreasonable search and seizure.
00:47And the reason that this is relevant is because so many of these schools that have Flock cameras are actually
00:52public schools which are run by the government and to which students are compelled to show up.
