00:05bagman Ramil Madriaga. The prosecutors dismissed the complaint for not meeting the required
00:10threshold of prima facie evidence with reasonable certainty of conviction.
00:14Madriaga had previously made allegations against the vice president in relation to misuse of
00:18confidential funds and Philippine offshore gaming operators. In March, Duterte filed the complaint
00:23against Madriaga with the Taguig City prosecutor's office. Duterte filed a second perjury complaint
00:29in August connected to Madriaga's second affidavit. Madriaga made new allegations that the OVP's
00:34125 million peso confidential funds were spent not in 11 days but just in 24 hours. Alleged misuse of
00:42confidential funds is one of the four articles of impeachment against Duterte in her ongoing
00:46Senate impeachment trial.
