Day one of a British inspired Minecraft village starts with clearing the land and revealing the rough terrain underneath. Trees come down first, then cave entrances and pools of water are filled in so the build site is ready for shaping. Even the local residents are dealt with before the real terraforming begins, keeping the area clear for the village plan.

From there, the landscape is smoothed out with curved edges that follow the natural terrain, and the river is fully connected by removing two pieces of land. The next stage is planning: one side of the river is set aside for a farm with a small barn and other farm buildings, while the main village side gets rough road and house placement. Light blue marks the smaller houses, dark blue marks the larger ones, and a space is also reserved for a local football pitch.

It is a satisfying Minecraft building and terraforming project focused on village planning, landscape shaping, and British village design. Ideal for fans of Minecraft survival builds, creative mode construction, village layouts, farm builds, and long-form building progress.

00:00Day one of building a British-inspired village. Now, the first task we had was to remove these
00:04trees to see what kind of terrain we were working with. And as you can see, we've revealed quite a
00:08mess. So step two was to fix this. We need to remove all cave entrances and pools of water.
00:12Get them gone, fill them in. We don't want those. Okay, the next task was to deal with some local
00:16residents. Now, we obviously don't want any complaints coming our way, so this eliminates
00:20that risk completely. With these out of the picture, we can now begin work on the terraforming,
00:24starting by removing these two pieces of land to fully connect our river. With that done,
00:28we can now work on smoothing out the terrain and making it an easier surface for us to build on.
00:32I start by throwing down some curves, trying to match the natural terrain patterns, and then
00:36filling in the space that it creates. See, the more effort we put in now, the easier the village will
00:40be to build later. With the terrain in place, we can begin the final step, which is planning. This
00:44side of the river will be our farm. So here, I've plotted out a small barn, along with a few
00:48other
00:48farm buildings. I headed back across the river to what is going to be the main side of the village,
00:53and began to plot out a rough idea of where the roads and buildings will be. Light blue is showing
00:57the smaller houses, whilst dark blue being the non-small houses. I finished by planning out
01:01a space for and local football pitch, and we're done. I love the day too.
