Some reunions arrive so suddenly they take a second to make sense.
Shannon is left speechless, struggling to process and believe her eyes as her best friend suddenly appears in front of her.
''We met in school in 2013, and from the moment we met, we became inseparable. The two years we spent together every single day built a friendship that felt like family, the kind of bond that feels like it will last a lifetime. In June 2015, she moved to Australia with her family, and I experienced my first real heartbreak, losing someone who had become such an important part of my everyday life. Four years later, in 2019, she returned to Malta and surprised me, but saying goodbye again brought back the same feeling, knowing that Australia and Malta are not exactly a simple trip away. Over the years, we stayed close, shared every life update, and continued to be there for each other despite the distance. We always talked about visiting one another, but I never imagined she would be the one standing at my car window that day. When she appeared, I genuinely thought she was a tourist asking for directions. Even after I recognized her, I still could not believe it was actually her. My mind could not process that my best friend, someone who means so much to me, had flown across the world to surprise me after seven years apart," Shannon told WooGlobe.
The moment lingers in the small gap between recognition and belief. It ends with a calm, close-up glimpse of a friendship catching up in real time. WooGlobe Ref : WGA968068 For licensing and to use this video, please email licensing@wooglobe.com
