00:33It's been like, naturally, it has appeared like every five years
00:37because all the things that we were offered,
00:39we didn't think they were for us
00:41or for us at that specific moment.
00:44But with this, there was no question
00:46because it was with Florian.
00:48When we had the first meeting with him about it
00:50because we both loved the script
00:52and we knew that we were going to be protected in that way,
00:56in terms of having somebody in the middle
00:58that is inviting you not to bring anything from your personal life,
01:04but you are going to bring yourself
01:06with all your cells are impregnated
01:09by everything you have experienced in your life.
01:12And that will be, in a way, part of those characters
01:15and how they tell that story.
01:16So, when you have somebody like him in the middle,
01:20of course, you feel safer.
01:22I adore them
01:24because I think they are among the greatest actors working today.
01:29And so, obviously, it was an honor for me to work with them.
01:32But I have to say that from the very beginning,
01:34I was also interested in having them together on screen
01:39because I thought it would be a unique way
01:42to capture something special as a real couple,
01:45to give layers to all the scenes of this film,
01:49to blur the line, of course, between reality and fiction,
01:52but to try to approach something that I'm interested in,
01:56which is the burning authenticity of the truth.
