00:21Laban had two daughters.
00:22The name of the elder was Leah, and the name of the younger was Rachel.
00:27Leah was tender-eyed, but Rachel was beautiful.
00:31I will serve thee seven years.
00:33And Jacob loved Rachel, and said, I will serve thee seven years for Rachel thy younger daughter.
00:38Better that I give her to thee than to another man.
00:40Abide with me.
00:42Give me my wife, for my days are fulfilled, that I may go in unto her, for the love I
00:49have to her.
00:52Drink up, my friends, for this is a day of joy.
01:06What is this thou hast done unto me?
01:08Did not I serve with thee for Rachel?
01:10Wherefore then hast thou beguiled me?
01:12It must not be so done in our country, to give the younger before the firstborn.
01:18Fulfill her week, and we will give thee this also, for the service of seven other years.
01:25And Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah.
01:28When the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb, but Rachel was barren.
01:35Surely the Lord hath looked upon my affliction, because the Lord hath heard me.
01:41Now will I praise the Lord.
01:49Give me children.
01:50Am I in God's stead who withheld them?
01:53Or else I die.
01:54Am I in God's stead who hath withheld from thee the fruit of the womb?
01:59Behold my maid Bilhah, go in unto her, and she shall bear upon my knees, that I may also have
02:05children by her.
02:05Jacob went in unto Bilhah, and she conceived, and Bilhah bare Jacob a son.
02:10God hath judged me.
02:12He hath also heard my voice.
02:13He hath given me a son, therefore is his name Dan.
02:20God hath taken away my reproach.
02:22The Lord shall add to me another son.
02:28Send me away, that I may go unto mine own place, and to my country.
02:34Let me depart.
02:38Give me my wives and my children, for whom I have served thee, and let me go, for thou knowest
02:45my service which I have done thee.
02:47And Laban said unto Jacob, I pray thee, if I have found favor in thine eyes, tarry, for I have
02:53learned by experience that the Lord hath blessed me for thy sake.
02:59Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's, and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all
03:05this glory.
