00:09dave arrived on time and was such an upbeat guy he filled us in on the flow of the day
00:14he talked the entire drive and gave us all such a great history lesson about sydney australia
00:21he was engaging and answered any and all questions we had the wineries we visited were great
00:27the first oakville was our favorite the wine hostess was fun and very knowledgeable and the
00:34wines we tasted there were excellent we also had the most delicious lunch at briar ridge
00:40winery one winery did a cheese pairing and the other a chocolate pairing we ended at the gin
00:47distillery which was a blast we tasted way too many types of gins and liqueurs we did buy some
00:55liqueurs to bring back home we had a long but terrific day with dave we all wanted to see
01:01kangaroos during our australian vacation dave found a mob of kangaroos and he stopped the van and pulled
01:09over so we could take slots of pictures of the kangaroos it was the highlight of a great day for
01:15us thank you dave amazing tour and wine tastings was picked up in sydney cbd and smooth drive to hunter
01:24valley region we were able to go to four locations all boutique wineries with multiple tastings at each
01:31location great value for money aiden at oakvale declan at mccaffrey's nathan at wine lab and by
01:39midgen for lunch wine and gin tasting lunch was great wood fire pizza overlooking the winery a
01:45beautiful picturesque location with kangaroos amongst the rows that we could watch and take photos
01:51our tour guide dave was awesome informative and a lot of fun he made the longer drive to the region
01:57enjoyable highly recommend great tour with dave's tours colin was our guide and he was very communicative
02:06and informative our group of 19 all got on well so we had good fun in each of the wineries

02:12about our travel mates and tasting wines cheeses chocolates gins the lunch offered plentiful pizza
02:19salad and wines we were picked up around 10.30 others had traveled from sydney so a very early start
02:26for them and we were dropped off first as we were local to hunter valley was a fun day and

02:32chauffeured around first dave's tours are incredible and the guides are excellent colin mark etc great guys
02:42second having done a variety of these tours over the years i find dave's the best way to visit the
02:47hunter wineries in a small group but most importantly the best wineries not all tours go to the better
02:53wineries lastly the transportation is comfortable and the value for the cost is amazing we'll be doing
03:00this tour again what a great day our guide chris was so entertaining and the wine stops had different
03:07samples to try one of the planned stops had a fire that morning and it was where we were supposed

03:12have lunch they were able to rearrange on the fly so we didn't experience a disruption the only thing
03:18that would have improved the tour would be lie flat seats for the return ride to sydney
03:23one of the best small tours we've done our tour guide drew was so friendly knowledgeable and courteous
03:30his background working for the un in unicef was very moving and goes to the nature of him
03:35the places we visited were first class the bus was new clean and cool on 40 degree day thank you

03:43much dave's tours can't recommend you highly enough we left from sydney so drive there was about two
03:50hours but countryside was varied and fun to see our driver colin was great knowledgeable helpful and a good
03:58driver wineries were well prepared for us and helpful we enjoyed the wines the lunch the visit
04:05and tastings at the distillery as well as unusual wine chocolate pairings
