00:00Do you know my 80s moment that just sprung from that is I'm in a queue outside a hotel room.
00:07I'm sitting, there's a whole pile of chairs, and we're outside, and I'm sitting next to Gary Oldman,
00:12who's sitting next to Dan Day-Lewis, who's sitting next to Colin Firth, who's sitting next to Tim Roth.
00:16Swear to God, I'm going to mess up.
00:17And we're all waiting to go in and see David Lynch to see if we might play the part that
00:23Carl McLachlan played so brilliantly.
00:24Oh, my God.
00:25And he wasn't like, I'll take all of you.
00:27I'm 21, and I don't know what experience the other boys had.
00:30They left pretty quickly each time.
00:32We all did.
00:32We all did.
00:34We were all in Rivals Film Parts.
00:36But David Lynch, I mean, for 21-year-old nobody, he gave you time.
00:42He spoke to you.
00:43You also knew you could tell this guy's going to make a wonderful, wonderful film.
