00:00I'm officially suing the state of California. On August 22nd, Gavin Newsom signed into law what is
00:05known as the Stop Nick Shirley Act, the official title of this bill is AB 2624. Now, this law will
00:12prohibit what an individual or a journalist will be able to film and publish when it comes to
00:17immigration support service providers. Now, in a world where we all want more transparency and not
00:22less, it is more critical than ever that we do not just sit back and do nothing. That is why
00:27I am
00:27filing this lawsuit against the state of California. Because why would they create a law that pushes for
00:32less transparency when all we want is more transparency, especially when it comes to our
00:37tax dollars being defrauded? And why specifically make immigration support service providers a
00:43protected class inside of California? Well, the truth is they use these immigration support service
00:48providers to commit fraud and push their agendas inside of California. That is why they had to
00:53create this new law. And I'm going to read from this bill. It specifically says,
00:58a program participant or an individual entity or organization authorized to act on their behalf
01:03may make a written demand to a person, business, or association to not publicly post or publicly
01:09display, disclose, or distribute on the internet the personal information or image of the program
01:15participant. They are literally saying you cannot film immigration support services. And if you do,
01:20and we give you a written demand, you cannot publicly post that video on the internet.
01:24And if you do publish the video, you may receive a $4,000 fine. Now, it's extremely important for
01:31you guys to understand why this bill was created, who created it, and the timeline as to when it was
01:36created, and how it will affect citizen journalists like myself and everyday citizens who are concerned
01:42about what is happening inside their community. As oftentimes, these politicians use these immigration
01:47support service providers to commit the fraud. As you all most likely know, on December 26,
01:53I published a video exposing widespread fraud inside of the Somali community inside of Minnesota,
01:58where they had daycares, layering centers, where there's actually no kids enrolled into any of these
02:03daycares, where they are receiving millions upon millions of dollars, and there's absolutely no one
02:09there. That then exposed fraud all across all 50 states, specifically in the states that received the
02:15most amount of money for these social benefit programs like daycares, hospices, or just Medicaid
02:22in general. Now, inside this bill, it specifically says immigration support service providers included,
02:28but not limited to, and lists off a whole list of these things, including legal services, and even says
02:34healthcare. And it also says these immigration support service providers can also be non-profits as well.
02:40These politicians funnel millions upon millions of dollars to these non-profits,
02:44and in fact, the co-sponsor of this bill is CHERLA, which is an immigration support service provider
02:50who has received over $80 million of your tax dollars for their organization who provide legal
02:57services for illegal migrants here inside of the United States. All right, so what actually is this
03:02new law? AB 2624, known as the Stop Nick Sherlock. Well, it was created because these people inside these
03:08immigration support service providers have allegedly faced doxing, courthouse targeting, online harassment,
03:13anti-immigrant vigilante threats, and coordinate campaigns, and death threats. And it says right
03:18here inside this bill that it says it happened in 2025 and it will continue because of the current
03:24administration's anti-immigration attitude and policy. So they're now saying that these individuals
03:29who work inside these immigration support service providers need to be protected and that their personal
03:33image or personal information cannot be shared online or out in public. And when it says personal
03:39information, it literally says included but not limited to their name, signature, social security
03:44number, physical characteristics, or description. So literally, if you go out and you film an
03:49immigration support service provider, for instance, let's say I go film a hospice and let's take this
03:54guy for example. So in Van Nuys, California, one third of Americans on hospice were going there to die.
04:00I go and film this hospice and this man right here says, hey Nick, you cannot publish this video.
04:04I'm actually part of this program and gives me a written demand. I therefore cannot publish the
04:09video. Now that fraud was very much real, but if that guy gives me a written demand, I cannot publish
04:14that video. And if I do, I then get a $4,000 fine potentially, a civil fine, which is absolutely
04:22absurd.
04:22So that's one of these examples of this bill. But this bill was made to protect people who work for
04:27immigration support service providers. And it is so vague that it says literally included but not limited
04:31too. It gives the whole entire list. At the very bottom, it says healthcare. So that would include
04:35hospices and even leering centers as well. So that is the premise of this bill. Now, who was this bill
04:42created by? This is where it gets super interesting. This bill was created by a silly woman, Mia Bonta.
04:48Mia Bonta is the wife to the Attorney General, Rob Bonta. So meanwhile, you have the Attorney General
04:54who's supposed to prosecute the fraud. Meanwhile, his wife is creating new laws to protect these alleged
05:00fraudsters. Absolutely crazy. I mean, you literally couldn't even write this script up if you had
05:06dreamt of it in a fever dream. That's how crazy it is. So we got to think about when this
05:11bill was
05:11created and the sequence of events that took place in order for this bill to be created. So everyone
05:16knows about December 26 when I exposed the Somali fraud inside of Minnesota. That then puts all 50 states
05:21on alert and everyone says, well, Nick, the fraud's big in Minnesota, but it's probably even bigger in
05:26California. So I start looking into the fraud inside of California, start running all the
05:30numbers. And I find out that California, for instance, has had a $100 billion increase in
05:36their Medicaid program called Medi-Cal while their enrollment has only gone up by 1%. So I say,
05:41wow, this fraud has to be really big. So I go to California and I announced that I was in
05:45California
05:46on January 31st. And I post on X saying I've arrived. And prior to that, word had already gotten out
05:53that I was looking into the fraud as the Somalis at some of these fraudulent daycares inside San Diego
05:58started posting the videos of me outside asking, Hey, where are your kids at? If you guys are running
06:04these daycares and they're running these daycares out of homes inside of San Diego, which is a bit
06:08strange. And obviously there's no kids inside of the daycare.
06:11It's Nick Sherry, our state guys. Look, there's 14 children enrolled here. You don't care. This is
06:18my daycare. And where are the children? You don't care. Where are the children at? It's not enough,
06:24Minnesota. You come here. It's not enough. And so then on February 2nd, Gavin Newsom stated that the
06:30San Diego Somali community fell under siege following arrival of right-wing provocateurs who seeked to
06:36replicate the fraud allegation that had sparked unrest in Minnesota. Well, I didn't plan for those
06:41daycares to be Somalian. They just so happened to be Somalian. And then on February 5th, Rob Bonta held
06:46a news conference saying that the fraud allegations in California are reckless, false, outrageous, and
06:52ridiculous. I then published a video exposing potential voter fraud that was taking place inside
06:56California and decided to wait on exposing the daycares and the hospices because the threats on my
07:01life had gotten pretty high at that moment. Well, in the meantime, Mia Bonta on February 20th
07:08then goes in and creates AB 2624, the Stop Nick Shirley Act. And then in March, I go ahead and
07:16drop the
07:16fraud bomb. I go and expose all the daycares and the hospices. This is the sound of hospice money.
07:25And I make it so obvious for everyone to see as these fraudsters are fleeing out of these hospices
07:29with M8s, Cybertrucks, and G-Wagons, and even Maybacks as they're leaving these hospices. Well,
07:37remember prior to that, Rob Bonta said that it was reckless and that it was false. And therefore,
07:41they needed the Stop Nick Shirley Act, AB 2624, to protect the fraud and stop people from exposing
07:48these locations inside of immigration support service providers. Only after that, just a few days later,
07:53Rob Bonta did the go-aheads and prosecutes over $250 million worth of hospice fraud.
07:58Gavin Newsom said the fraud didn't exist. And then just a few days later, he's trying to take credit
08:03for exposing the hospice fraud. Just so it turns out that since that video was posted, over 500 of
08:10those hospices have been shut down and not a single one of them have opened back up because they were
08:14all fraudulent. That is why I'm filing this lawsuit to be able to go after and continue to expose these
08:20fraudsters. We need more transparency and not less. Now let's talk about the lawsuit. I'm filing this
08:26lawsuit inside the Federal Court of California to stop the enforcement of this law. The claim is
08:33straightforward. This statute violates the First Amendment. I'm asking the court to protect my
08:39First Amendment right. And now you all may be wondering, Nick, is there any monetary gain for
08:43you to file this lawsuit? Well, actually, there's none. We're not suing for a single dollar. We're suing
08:49simply on the fact that they're taking away your First Amendment right with this new law. In fact,
08:55I might spend months, I might spend years fighting this lawsuit. For so long, think about it. For so
09:00long, these corrupt politicians have been able to push and shove us around and receive no consequences
09:06for their actions. In fact, when I did go and confront them about this bill, all of these politicians
09:11ran away. But unfortunately, it is not what the actual bill does. Thank you so much. It actually
09:17is. Thank you. I don't think that bill has passed before my case. He's a co-author of it. Immigration
09:23-based
09:23services are trying to make it harder for money to be disclosed. Thanks. Look, they just run off.
09:29Look at that. Can you give us your opinion really quick on AB 2624? I think you're a psycho scam
09:34artist,
09:35so please disclose how you think that. Look at how they just run away. These guys are fools. And now
09:40imagine if I were to sit down and say, it's all right, we're going to let them continue with this
09:45law, even though it's going to violate my First Amendment rights and my videos are going to be
09:48harder to make. And who knows what's going to be able to get exposed when they start to put this
09:53law
09:54into effect on October 1st, 2027. That's when this law becomes operated. But who knows what's going to
10:00happen between now and then, what they can and cannot do. And it's time for we the people to
10:05actually do something. This fraud never has had anything to do with the right or left. It had
10:10everything to do about your dollars being defrauded. And now they want to prevent people like me from
10:15going out and searching for the truth about where our tax dollars are going. As quite literally, they
10:21are then going to be able to give me a written demand, a piece of paper saying, hey, you cannot
10:25publish
10:25that video. And if I do, I will get a $4,000 fine. And if you do too, you will
10:30also potentially get a
10:32$4,000 fine. That is the problem with this bill and why it violates the First Amendment. It's time
10:37we all stand up, get together right and left and say, you cannot violate our First Amendment right.
