00:17Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.
00:33Ah, the people in Bethany still speak of my teaching last Sabbath.
00:38They should.
00:41We uphold the law while others bend it.
00:49And if they bent it any further, it would break.
00:55The Father's heart is full of mercy.
00:59He does not turn away the broken.
01:01He lifts them up.
01:03He does not cast out those who seek him.
01:08He draws them close.
01:19Is that not Jesus, the teacher from Nazareth?
01:25Him again.
01:28Let us see what sort of teaching he offers today.
01:37Here, take and eat.
01:41I thank you.
01:55This man welcomes sinners, and eats with them.
02:05Did... did he hear us?
02:07It's impossible.
02:09He looked right at me.
02:12No.
02:20You judge by what you see.
02:24But you do not understand the Father's joy when one sinner returns to him.
02:33John, quick.
02:36This is going to be good.
02:43There was a man...
02:46who had two sons.
02:58Come on, move!
03:00We don't have all day.
03:03Father's field isn't going to plow itself.
03:09Good morning, Father!
03:12Good morning, my child.
03:22Oh, that's perfect.
03:27Yeah!
03:42Of course.
03:44Now you run.
03:46Did you see that?
04:01Coming through!
04:03Man!
04:16Man!
04:38Every day it's the same.
04:40Work, work, work.
04:41Look, my father's always telling me what to do, where to be, how to live.
04:48But out there, there has to be more than this.
04:53I'm sick and tired of feeling like my whole life has already decided.
05:04Yeah, I know. You get it.
05:16Oh, no.
05:20Wait!
05:29Come back!
05:37Oh, come on!
05:50Oh, my son. Please come home.
05:57The younger one said to his father.
06:02Father!
06:04My son!
06:07Give me my share of the estate.
06:12So he divided his property between them.
06:25Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had and set off for a distant country.
06:41Foolish. Let him waste it.
07:03There it is!
07:04There it is!
07:14It's... It's incredible!
07:29I can't believe it!
07:33I got there!
07:49It's amazing!
08:02Come on!
08:03Finally, my life begins.
08:34A
08:35A
08:35A
08:35A
08:35A
08:36A
08:36A
08:36A
08:36A
08:36A
08:37A
09:08After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in
09:16need.
09:18I'm hungry, father.
09:19I know, my boy.
09:21Hush, little one.
09:49So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to
09:56feed pigs.
10:06Look at you.
10:08Fine robe turned to rags.
10:12Yeah, sir.
10:13Um, I need work.
10:16Anything.
10:18Work?
10:19You can feed the pigs.
10:23Yes, sir.
10:26He longed to fill his stomach with the pods the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
10:42When he came to his senses, he said,
10:46How many of my father's hired servants have food to spare?
10:50And here I am starving to death.
10:58I will set out and go back to my father and say to him,
11:04Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
11:09I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
11:13Make me like one of your hired servants.
11:21So he got up and went to his father.
11:35But while he was still a long way off,
11:39His father saw him and was filled with compassion for him.
11:45My boy.
11:50He ran to his son.
11:53My boy.
11:54Threw his arms around him and kissed him.
11:57My son.
11:59You're alive.
12:00The son said to him,
12:02Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.
12:05I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
12:10But the father said to his servants,
12:15Quick!
12:16Bring the best robe and put it on him.
12:18Put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet.
12:20Bring the fattened calf and kill it.
12:22Let's have a feast and celebrate.
12:24For this son of mine was dead and is alive again.
12:29He was lost.
12:33Hand is found.
12:37You're home now, my son.
12:52I'm telling you he slipped right into the fountain.
12:55Robes and all!
12:56Ha!
12:56So that's why he arrived drenched.
12:57I thought it was a new fashion.
13:03Have some fruit.
13:07No worries.
13:11Son, I'm so happy you are back home.
13:16Do I really deserve this?
13:18After all I've done.
13:21Son, I know.
13:23We all make mistakes.
13:25You've come back.
13:27That's what matters.
13:29That's what matters.
13:36Son, I know.
13:41Son, I know.
13:41Meanwhile, the older son was in the field.
13:46Son, I know.
13:51Son, I know.
14:00When he came near the house,
14:03he heard music and dancing.
14:13it's quite lively tonight yes it certainly is i'm going outside real quick need to check on
14:21something all right so he called one of the servants and asked him what was going on
14:41what's going on here sir your brother has come and and your father has had the fattened calf prepared
14:49because he has him back safe and sound go get my father now of course sir right away
15:02the older brother became angry and refused to go in so his father went out and pleaded with him

15:18i never disobeyed your orders yet you never gave me even a young goat so i could celebrate with my
15:24friends but when this son of yours who has squandered your property with prostitutes comes home
15:30you kill the fattened calf for him my son you are always with me and everything i have is yours
15:40but we had to celebrate and be glad because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again
