00:00Today is a day about celebration, the 85th anniversary of Jeep.
00:04And there's no better place to represent that than here in Toledo.
00:09This is where it all began and where it continues today.
00:13Generations of families have worked in this plant.
00:15Today marks 85 years, a lot.
00:18But more than that, we are celebrating what Jeep represents
00:22across our plants, our people, and many generations.
00:26During the World War II, American soldiers lived with my family in Sicily.
00:33And they brought with them a wheelies Jeep that they used for the several years they spent with us.
00:40I started my life looking at the wheelies on the gravel,
00:44and I came here leading the most important Jeep plant that we have.
00:49That for me was kind of a destiny of my life.
00:53I want to thank you for everything you do, for everything you did,
00:57but most importantly for everything you will do.
00:59Because the future of this plant will be bright, and that is built on your reliability.
01:06For 85 years, Jeep truly inspired us and inspired the generation.
01:12Since World War II, when Jeep was helping supporting the American troops to win that war,
01:19that was not an easy war to win for sure,
01:22till the days of today where Jeep really represents the icon of American off-road.
01:28We will invest in the next years $400 million to fully renovate Jeep Wrangler,
01:43to fully renovate Jeep Gladiator,
01:46and to have the all-new Ram Dakota together with those two beautiful cars
01:52to make production in Toledo.
01:57The veteran craftsman team for you and all.
02:01This is all handmade by us, and we hope it's a blast in the light.
02:07Happy birthday for everything you guys have done.
02:11And thank you all for letting me share my story with you.
