00:00What happened at the Coliseum on Saturday?
00:02I bring it up because in 2009, they played San Jose State.
00:06Same kickoff time, a little bit less hot, but it was a sold-out crowd.
00:10So is this kind of more indicative of the expectations of the city for this team right now?
00:15I don't really buy into the narrative and the big picture of it all.
00:19It is the first game.
00:20I mean, look, as a proud alumni and obviously football and I love USC,
00:24yeah, when you're sitting there, naturally it's a bummer that they're not packed
00:29and they're not rooting these kids on.
00:32I get that and I understand that.
00:34People take the narrative and then they start trashing USC and all that.
00:37At the end of the day, that locker room, that coaching staff,
00:41that's really all that matters.
00:42They just got to go out there and win games and everything else takes care of itself.
00:45So I don't think it's indicative of anything.
00:48I don't like using excuses either.
00:50At the end of the day, it's what happened.
00:52I would just encourage fans to come out and show your support.
00:55It's a great home schedule.
00:57I mean, Oregon, Ohio State, you got some big-time teams coming in.
01:01And that team is going to need all the help they can get from fans
01:04and the energy and the passion, right?
01:06And the Coliseum is a great place to play football, man.
01:08It's really special.
01:09So I'm hopeful it just gets better.
