00:17Play takes many forms,
00:19from millions of polygons to a couple of pixels or a big pile of bricks.
00:22My name is Red, and as a lifelong PlayStation gamer,
00:25it is my greatest honor to share with you
00:27something special that is celebrating the original PlayStation's iconic 1994 design.
00:33Play, as a LEGO designer, means to me creativity, imagination, and a lot of fun.
00:38When designing this set, we try to add a lot of play into it.
00:41We have the opening button, we have the light,
00:44and of course we have the drawers with all the easter eggs inside as well.
00:47In the 1911 bricks of the set,
00:50some of them are dedicated to two dioramas inside the PlayStation.
00:54One is representing Gran Turismo,
00:56and the other one, Ape Escape.
00:58Both of them are full of detail for the fans to see.
01:00The most important thing to get right when we created the console was the dimension,
01:04the real feel of the console back in the day in 1994.
01:08The theme around the design of the PlayStation is super passionate about gaming.
01:12It was super challenging for Isaac to reproduce all the right dimensions,
01:15especially on the controller for it to feel right,
01:18but he did an amazing effort around it.
01:21This set is a love letter from one community of creators to another,
01:24and we hope you enjoy building this set as much as we enjoy creating it.
01:28As a LEGO designer, I am so proud to introduce a LEGO set in the state of play,
01:33when play is so important for both our companies.
