00:00Organizations, we have great people working from Food Charity Foundation, from Thalside, from Lions, everyone is doing their bids.
00:56What do you have to say? What have you seen here?
01:00You know, the kind of destruction is in front of your eyes. It's immense. You know, you can see that
01:05greenhouse also, the miracle house, which survived during these floods. But the whole other side of the whole village has
01:12already been wiped out. And there's no access to that. It takes almost nine hours for us to reach there
01:18if you want.
01:18And I mean, I feel really heartbroken when I think about these families who are stuck here, whose houses have
01:28gone, families have gone. People are still stuck there under the debris.
01:31So just want to wish them that, you know, I hope that we are all able to bring some aid
01:38for you guys and so that Nepal can again stand back on their feet.
01:43So just trying to do a bit and I'm sure that, you know, me, Sucharity Foundation, Khal Saeed, Lions, we'll
01:48all make sure that we reach to the most difficult spots and provide the help what we can.
01:54So what do you have to say about the help given by Indian government? They have to smash four batches
02:00of medical and all sorts of help. What do you have to say about that?
02:02I think Indian government has done phenomenally well, you know, all thanks to our honourable PM, Mr. Narendra Modi also,
02:09you know, the kind of help that has been provided to Nepal, it's commendable.
02:13And I think we should keep on continuing sending this aid because they need it. And on the ground, when
02:20I come, when I meet those families, I know that it's not going to get resolved in a couple of
02:26weeks or months.
02:26It's something that we have to keep on sending, continuing our support. And I think that's the only way we
02:33can get them back to their normal lives.
02:36Sir, you are here in Nepal. And what is your message to other organizations, private players? How should they come
02:42forward to help?
02:43All I can say is that, yes, you can see the kind of destruction. And if we don't help them
02:48now, when are we going to help them?
02:49So please be, you know, active, take out time, all the big corporates, come out with their CSR activities here,
02:58do something good.
02:59And whatever help you need from us, you know, me, as Sonu Suu Charity Foundation, we are always there for
03:06you, just a phone call away and let's try to do our bit.
