00:00At the end of the day, I think it came down to who do you believe and why should the
00:05jury believe that Dwayne Davis, especially in the proffer, told the truth when he said that he participated in the
00:15killing?
00:15So, yes, I think his words, amongst other things, came back to haunt him.
00:22One thing I took away from this trial, particularly dealing with the Shakur family, is that to all of us,
00:27to me, Tupac Shakur was an icon or an idea.
00:30But to that family, Tupac Shakur was a brother, a son, a cousin, a loved person that was ripped from
00:38them 25 or 30 years ago now.
00:40And I think Mr. Davis' arrogance and celebration of that murder is ultimately what did him in.
00:46And I think for that family to have sat through, and if you think about it, that family had to
00:51sit through these last 14, 15 years about somebody bragging about killing somebody they loved.
00:57They loved that man.
00:58And the arrogance that Mr. Davis had in expressing his joy in killing that man ultimately was his undoing.
01:05Anybody who's read it, it's crap.
01:07And so it's a very bad piece.
01:10Can you say crap on national television?
01:12I don't know.
01:13That's the reason I use that word.
01:14I mean, it is a terrible, you know, it's not an enjoyable read.
01:19I don't know why anyone would want to read it.
01:22And, you know, I do think that both Mr. Pahlal and I are dumber for having to have to read
01:26it.
