During the football matchup on September 11, 2021, between the Miami Hurricanes and App State Mountaineers at Hard Rock Stadium, a remarkable event unfolded as fans came to the aid of a cat that had fallen from the upper tier. Captured by Ethan Gany, the video showcases the crowd's enthusiastic response to the rescue effort. Gany reported, 'The cat was hanging precariously from the upper level, and its origins remain unclear. Observant fans with an American flag quickly fashioned it into a safety net.' After dangling for approximately eight minutes, the cat finally dropped, but fortunately, the flag softened the landing, allowing a spectator below to catch it. The entire student section, where I was seated, erupted in applause and cheers.
