Kelly Osbourne is opening up about one of the most difficult periods of her life, revealing how painful body-shaming became while she was grieving the loss of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
In a recent interview, Kelly admitted that she was struggling physically and emotionally when people began making harsh comments about her appearance. Rather than being able to ignore the criticism, she said she was simply “not well” and questioned how anyone could navigate such cruelty while already feeling sick.
Kelly explained that her weight loss happened during an intense period of grief following Ozzy’s death in July 2025. She has previously pushed back against speculation about weight-loss drugs, saying her inability to eat was connected to her emotional state.
Now, the 41-year-old says she is focused on healing. She credits therapy and a supportive group of people around her for helping her move forward, while acknowledging that recovery is not something that happens overnight.
“You’ve got to fix the head before you can fix the body,” Kelly explained, describing her journey as a lifelong process of understanding herself and becoming healthier.
Despite the negativity she has faced throughout her life, Kelly says she is taking things slowly and concentrating on her future, her well-being, and her young son.
