THIS ANIMAL HAS THREE HEARTS! šŸ™ā¤ļø

Meet one of the strangest animals in the ocean: the octopus.

An octopus has three hearts. Two branchial hearts pump blood toward the gills, while one systemic heart pumps oxygen-rich blood throughout the body.

But there's an even crazier detail: when an octopus swims, its systemic heart temporarily stops beating. This is one reason octopuses often prefer crawling along the seafloor.

And that's not all—octopus blood is blue because it uses a copper-based protein called hemocyanin to transport oxygen.

The ocean is full of animals that seem almost impossible to believe.
