00:00Krista Crowd is brought to you by Quartz, bringing value home.
00:15It's the Republic Bank CPL clash between the Trindago Knight Riders and the Barbados Tridents.
00:20And here at the Queen's Park Oval, both teams will be looking for valuable points.
00:25The Tridents are 5th, TKR 6th, and we want to find out what the fans have to say about the
00:30encounter.
00:32TKR taking on Barbados Tridents. Which team are you supporting and how confident are you about your chances?
00:36I'm supporting TKR and I 100% for the chances because I backed their batting lineup.
00:43And I know the bowling hasn't been too good recently, the last two games, but I'm sure they can pull
00:47it together for the second home game.
00:49Which team are you supporting and are you confident about your team's chances?
00:53For sure. Trindago Knight Riders is the team that I'm supporting.
00:58All the San Jose guys, we should be sure to take them tonight.
01:03It's charity. We're on the little back foot, but we will get through.
01:07Yes, ma'am. I understand that both of you are coming to the Oval for the first time for CPL.
01:11How excited are you?
01:12Very excited. We love the games, but we usually do it at Bryan Lara.
01:18So it's the first time in the Oval and we're very excited.
01:21When it comes to the biggest party in sport, Trinidad is known to have large crowds.
01:26As such, it was an electric atmosphere inside the Queen's Park Oval.
01:30And who can party better than Trini's?
01:37The colour, the excitement, it was all happening in St. Clair Port of Spain.
01:45How got a chance do you think TKR has against the Tridents?
01:49When tonight, I go say 9 out of 10.
01:54You know, yeah, because they look like they get it up together.
01:59You know, and they seem like because I watch the power play.
02:04The power play was excellent with the bowling.
02:07How are you enjoying it?
02:08Love it.
02:10So you're coming for more games?
02:12Definitely.
02:14And you, I understand, in your case, it's the first time.
02:17It is my first time.
02:18But you're looking forward to more cricket at the Queen's Park Oval.
02:21Would you be coming to more games?
02:22Yes, I would.
02:24What's the experience like?
02:25I really, really like it.
02:28Have a good one.
02:29Which part are you coming from and how much are you enjoying the cricket?
02:32I'm coming from deep south in the Penal area.
02:35And I'm enjoying the cricket.
02:37I love it a lot.
02:38What expectations do you have from the Knight Riders?
02:40I have high expectations for them tonight.
02:42Due to their past performance, I have high expectations tonight.
02:46Have a good one.
02:47No problem.
02:47Cheers.
02:48Then we caught up with this gentleman dressed as a Knight.
02:51It was a no-brainer that he was supporting TKR.
02:54Epic.
02:54Guys, you have a very good job so far.
02:5772 for 3, 8 to 3.1.
02:59Excellent job.
03:01We need to keep going.
03:03We need to keep pushing hard.
03:04And yeah, you have to see.
03:06Amazing.
03:07From one Knight to another, it was clearly evident that this young one was having a blast.
03:11I see your daughter is in a costume.
03:14Tell us about it.
03:15Oh, since tonight she's a TKR Knight Rider.
03:18She wants to wear her sword, her shield, and she even brought her cricket back to show
03:21how much she supports TKR tonight.
03:24And what's your name?
03:25Mia.
03:27Enjoying the cricket?
03:28Yeah.
03:29At the Jeffrey Stollmeyer stand, it was a sea of red with the fans witnessing their team
03:34in the ascendancy.
03:35Of course, we're bowling real good today, thankfully.
03:39And you know, so far, I'm looking good.
03:42Are you coming for any more matches?
03:44Yeah, I'll be here tomorrow as well.
03:46And as far as the chances of the team overall are concerned, how good do you think TKR have
03:52a chance of retaining the title?
03:55I don't know, the bowling kind of a feat, but Andy Batten hasn't showed up just yet.
04:01But TKR is a team that shows up later in the tournament, so we're hoping.
04:07We're hoping.
04:08In the end, the fans were all smiles.
04:11That's because TKR overhauled the Trident's total of 127 with 31 balls to spare.
04:18Dinner now on your T6 sport.
