00:05Grazie a tutti.
00:30Caius knows exactly what he's doing.
00:32Get out of there!
00:33You can't beat him, fool.
00:36Caius, please be careful.
00:39Look at him.
00:40He's finally lost his mind.
00:42This is their champion.
00:44A gambler?
00:46Let's end this once and for all.
00:49Fire!
01:05Pathetics.
01:06Caius was once considered the greatest young sorcerer in Elendor until his father died.
01:15Your Majesty, I think Caius knows something about Lord Henry Drenmal's death.
01:21It seems as if he is hiding some knowledge and himself out of fear.
01:27Maybe it has something to do with his mother Ellara remarrying Malric.
01:32Maybe Caius needs the security of power and authority before revealing the truth.
01:37He needs protection.
01:39Influence.
01:40The free hand to act without fear of retaliation.
01:45He needs the king's support.
01:48Then the king's support he shall have.
01:52People of Elendor!
01:55The stakes have changed.
01:57Whoever defeats the eastern princes shall not only receive gold, land, and my daughter's hand in marriage,
02:03but above all they shall be declared the Sorcerer Supreme of Elendor
02:10and commander of the Celestial Army itself.
02:18Sorcerer Supreme.
02:20Power beyond every noble lord.
02:23Beyond Malic.
02:24Protected by the king himself.
02:26Maybe my moment has come.
02:30What a hopeless kingdom.
02:32I will kill your Sorcerer Supreme with my bare hands.
02:36This changes nothing!
02:38Your Majesty.
02:42Will you truly honor that promise?
02:44Before all of Elendor,
02:47I give you my word.
03:06My son!
03:09I knew it!
03:14Ashen, is it?
03:15Maybe it's time to reduce you to dust.
03:20Oh!
03:34Return the dice.
03:36No.
03:38Then this is your final warning.
03:43Come and take it.
03:55It was you.
03:56You're the one who protected Elendor.
03:59There's only one way to be certain!
04:23Enough.
04:25Enough.
04:42The strongest sorcerer in Elendor,
04:44the legendary Spectral Phoenix,
04:47the kingdom's greatest protector,
04:49was Caius Dranama all along.
04:51The drunken fool had fooled everyone.
04:59Father.
05:01There is something I need to tell you.
05:07I have already given my heart to someone.
05:09I have decided who I am to marry.
05:12Absolutely not.
05:19The future queen of Elendor
05:21cannot choose a husband
05:23based on feelings alone.
05:25Our kingdom stands on the brink of war.
05:28Only the strongest warrior in Elendor
05:30is worthy of standing beside you.
05:33I understand.
05:37But I know the man I've chosen
05:39will prove his strength
05:40at the Sovereign Trials.
05:49Lingard?
05:50Lingard?
05:51Leave us.
05:56Explain yourself.
05:58The mysterious sorcerer
06:00protecting Elendor
06:01has been found.
06:03You found him?
06:06Yes.
06:10It's Caius Drenmaul.
06:15Caius?
06:16Are you having a laugh, old man?
06:18The same Caius everyone believes
06:21is a drunken gambler.
06:25That's impossible.
06:28I thought so too.
06:30But then I fought him.
06:32He ruined my spectral tiger,
06:35destroyed the bridge,
06:39and defeated me
06:40without revealing
06:41the full extent of his power.
06:47But why?
06:49Why would someone that powerful
06:52spend years
06:53pretending to be worthless?
06:56I don't know, my Leergy.
06:58But I know this.
07:00Caius possesses power
07:02unlike anything I have ever seen.
07:05then perhaps Elendor
07:07is not doomed after all.
07:13If Caius is truly
07:15as powerful as you claim,
07:18and if the other noble heirs
07:20possess even a fraction
07:21of that strength,
07:22then the Sovereign Trials
07:24may give us the champions
07:25we desperately need.
07:27make the trials difficult.
07:32No.
07:34Make them especially difficult
07:36for Caius.
07:37I want to see
07:38what the boy
07:38is truly capable of.
07:43As you command,
07:44your majesty.
07:50People of Elendor!
07:53Our kingdom stands
07:54at a crossroads.
07:56Enemies gather
07:57beyond our borders.
07:59The future of Elendor
08:01depends on those
08:02willing to defend it.
08:04Today,
08:05the Sovereign Trials begin.
08:08And together,
08:09we will discover
08:10the warrior
08:10worthy of safeguarding
08:12this realm.
08:13Perhaps entering him
08:14was a mistake.
08:16No.
08:17Caius deserves the chance
08:19to prove himself.
08:23Who invited him?
08:26I've got silver on him
08:28being eliminated first.
08:30Five.
08:30He'll surrender
08:31before the first fight starts.
08:34For once in your life,
08:35make a smart decision.
08:38Withdraw.
08:39Don't disgrace
08:40House Drenmore
08:41the same way
08:41your father did.
08:46Ignore him.
08:48Trust yourself.
08:50Whatever happens,
08:51my son,
08:52I'm proud of you.
08:58Isn't that Caius Drenmore?
09:01The gambler?
09:02How does someone like him
09:03think he belongs
09:04among Elendon's
09:05greatest warriors?
09:06He doesn't belong here.
09:08He's a spoiled fool
09:09living off his family's name.
09:11He's nowhere near
09:12Peter's level.
09:15Do any of them
09:16stand out to you?
09:18One does.
09:19I'm certain
09:20he will be victorious
09:21when these trials
09:22are over.
09:26The first match
09:28of the Sovereign Trials
09:29will now begin.
09:31Caius Drenmore
09:32versus Juno Idris Hall.
09:37Caius Drenmore.
09:39Does he even have the courage
09:41to enter the arena?
09:42Maybe he'll piss his pants.
09:45My son is stronger
09:47than everyone thinks.
09:49He'll surprise you all.
10:01He's drinking
10:02in the middle
10:04of the Sovereign Trials.
10:18Unbelievable.
10:20The match is already over.
10:29What's his damn problem?
10:32Be patient,
10:34your majesty.
10:47He's running away!
10:49That's all he's good for!
10:51Ha ha ha ha ha!
10:54Pathetic.

21:51Could be fun
21:57What happened?
21:59I was ambushed!
22:01A sorcerer more powerful than me put me to shame!
22:04Father, what if I lose at the Sovereign Trials?
22:09Nonsense, my boy.
22:11You are a natural talent.
22:15I am worried, Father.
22:17What if I am weak?
22:19What if Caius outperforms me and wins the Princess' favour?
22:23You should never have allowed him to take part in the Sovereign Trials.
22:28Why didn't you just kill him over his gambling debts?
22:33Because we cannot afford to lose Ellara.
22:39If Caius dies now, she turns against us.
22:42But the Trials...
22:45The Trials are a different matter.
22:50A loser like Caius, he won't even survive five minutes.
22:54He'll perish exactly like his weak father.
22:57And then there will be no more hurdles to our victory, son.
23:01Forget Caius.
23:03Focus on the Princess.
23:05Keep her convinced that you're the Spectral Phoenix.
23:07Once you marry her.
23:10And once Caius dies in the Trials.
23:13We will be unstoppable.
23:16And one day...
23:17You will be king.
23:26Why did you kill his father but not him?
23:36Because two deaths would have raised suspicion.
23:40Besides, Caius makes his mother vulnerable.
23:43She needs a protector for herself and her young son.
23:47Without him, she never would have agreed to marry me.
23:52I didn't marry Ellara for love.
23:54I married her to expand my power beyond my father's position.
23:58And secure your future through House Drenmor.
24:02As for Caius...
24:04I'll make sure he grows up to be forgotten.
24:08And you, Peter...
24:10Become the Lord of Pant Drenmor.
24:12I will help you every step of the way, father.
24:28I know you need the support, mother.
24:31Which is why you would never believe me if I told you the truth about Malric.
24:38But today, I swear to avenge my father when I grow up and am powerful enough.
24:48Until my mother and I aren't completely safe, I will train and hide my true potential.
24:55Perfectly plotting Malric's downfall.
25:01He will rue the day he ever tried to go against House Drenmor.
25:06And he will never see me coming.
25:14This is my promise to you, father.
25:17Father.
25:39Caeus Drengeil.
25:41The worst of the lot.
25:44This should be easy.
25:55How can someone be this careless?
26:02Huh?
26:03Where did they go?
26:15Impossible.
26:17Spectral energy cubes.
26:20What is a fool like he doing with this rare, ancient magic?
26:25He must have stolen them.
26:26Or won them from some sorcerer during a gambling match.
26:42What sorcery is this?
26:45Who do you belong to?
26:48To me.
26:50How did you...
26:52Those dice belong to me.
26:58Return them.
27:08Do you want to die tonight, old man?
27:12The kingdom's greatest drunker threatens to kill me?
27:14You probably stole these dice.
27:17Return the dice.
27:19No.
27:21Then this is your final warning.
27:26Come and take it.
27:38It was you.
27:40You're the one who protected Elendor.
27:42There's only one way to be certain!
28:07Enough.
28:09Enough.
28:16What?
