Blade Runner is heading back to the future, but Ridley Scott won't be calling the creative shots. Despite receiving an executive producer credit on Blade Runner 2099, Scott says he isn't creatively involved with the new Prime Video series after the franchise rights got away from him years ago.

The series jumps 50 years beyond Blade Runner 2049, with Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer leading a new story set in a Los Angeles increasingly dominated by Replicants.

Blade Runner 2099 premieres November 25 on Prime Video.
