..Source: Transcript: Per InsideEVs, Ford has pulled the wraps off the new Transit City Electric Vehicle for Europe, and it’s being co-developed with its Chinese joint venture partner Jiangling Motor Corporation, sharing its platform with the JMC Touring and built at JMC’s plant in Nanchang, China.

Pricing is expected to land around **£27,000, or about $36,000**, with **deliveries starting later this year**.

This is a last‑mile, city-focused van with a *56 kilowatt-hour lithium‑iron phosphate battery* and up to *160 miles of WLTP range**. It uses a **110 kilowatt, 148 horsepower* single motor. Fast charging peaks at **67 kW**, good for **10% to 80% in about 30 minutes**, while AC charging is **up to 11 kW**.

Ford says fleets could see a *40% lower total cost of ownership* versus a diesel van, plus an **8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty**. Three body styles are planned: **low-roof, high-roof, and chassis cab**.
