00:00:10Scientists called it S-H-V-I-D-1. Shavid-1. Most people called it death. A worldwide pandemic
00:00:21disease of cataclysmic proportions. A simple shark bite off the Australian beach started
00:00:28it. Then it spread, exponentially. Beaches were closed at first, and few listened. More
00:00:36shark attacks occurred. By the time the tourist industry was closed down, it was too late.
00:00:43One hundred thousand people were infected. Then half a million. Then two million. Then
00:00:49we stopped counting. Martial law was declared after looting and panic buying crippled cities.
00:00:55People were forced to stay in their homes, to die while the governments of the world
00:01:00scrambled to find a cure. That's how we ended up here. There are five of us, in this oceanic
00:01:07research lab, converted almost overnight, into a top secret facility who has been tasked with
00:01:13finding a cure to this outbreak. Find it at all costs. As hell breaks loose on the surface,
00:01:19we are 800 meters below the ocean, searching for answers. I'm Christy Parks, a shark expert. I have
00:01:29contained several sharks who transferred the deadly virus through their bites, and several unaffected
00:01:35sharks. The answer lies in one of them, or all of them, or none of them. Research so far creates
00:01:43more
00:01:43questions than answers. Time is running out. Gregory McLandon is our lead disease specialist. He works
00:01:52tirelessly between his serum tests and constant video conferences with Shannon Muldoon, our topside
00:01:58disease control agent. She feeds us bits and pieces of the real situation, and I wonder what her motives and
00:02:05real purpose is. Gregory says he's close to a cure, but he's been saying that for months.
00:02:12Anne Satcher works closely with Gregory. She's top of her field in marine studies and plant life.
00:02:18She was the first one chosen for the assignment, handpicked by Muldoon. Rumor has it she was an ex-lover
00:02:25of hers, but no one cares enough to even ask. We're all too busy to really care to know one's
00:02:31personal life.
00:02:33Richter D'Amato designed and built this underwater maze years ago when it was a weapons test site.
00:02:40He was instrumental in its overhaul to a research lab, and his job is to keep us alive so the
00:02:47deep
00:02:47abyss doesn't come crashing onto us and send us to a watery grave. Duke Larson is our security,
00:02:54if you can call it that. I wonder why we need a soldier down here. What's he protecting us from?
00:03:00Is he here to break up a squabble? He takes his job too seriously. It makes me nervous.
00:03:06One way or another, the future depends on us. Muldoon tells us that at every meeting. Words I never thought
00:03:14what I'd hear.
00:03:15I don't know.
00:05:27Another batch of stiffs?
00:05:29This might be the last one for a while.
00:05:33So, tell me, what's it like up there?
00:05:37Mister, be thankful you're down here.
00:05:44See you later.
00:05:45Have a good one.

00:07:17I don't even know, I'm just wondering if it's hopeless.
00:07:21Don't give up. We're close.
00:08:02Seawater.
00:08:33Yes, Duke. What is it?
00:08:36Fresh meat. Brand new delivery.
00:08:44Alright, let's get it on the table.
00:08:59Thanks. That'll be all.
00:09:02You know, you're colder than those fish that Dr. Christie works with.
00:09:07We have a job to do. We don't have any time for any acquaintances or anything like that.
00:09:12What does it matter? The whole world up top is going to shit anyway.
00:09:17We're all just down here jerking off, wasting our time.
00:09:22Time better spent enjoying what little bit we might have left.
00:09:26You disgust me. Now go find some other damsel in distress who might need your protection.
00:09:33Yeah, well, have fun, bitch.
00:09:36No, I'm so hungry.
00:10:00Oh, interesting, these blood cells show lessening signs of the strain.
00:10:06Decrease?
00:10:15Oh damn, we may be on to something!
00:10:18The normal pathogen is attacking the Shavid-1 virus!
00:10:34I wonder what species of shark inflicted these wounds.
00:10:47Hey Christy, can you come up to the lab?
00:10:48Uh, I need your opinion on something.
00:10:51Thanks.
00:10:58I need more than that, Gregory.
00:11:00We need results and we need them fast.
00:11:02The virus is spreading rapidly.
00:11:04A few shark attacks have brought us to this.
00:11:06Muldoon!
00:11:06You know you can call me Shannon.
00:11:08At least, you did when you seduced me.
00:11:12Seduced?
00:11:13I wasn't even trying.
00:11:14Don't you even remember?
00:11:16Of course not.
00:11:18But that's not our real priority.
00:11:20I can get you out of there if you want.
00:11:22It must be lonely for you or are the technicians taking care of everyone's needs.
00:11:27Now what's that supposed to mean?
00:11:30Oh nothing.
00:11:32The sharks we have in captivity aren't giving us the results we need.
00:11:36So terminate those specimens.
00:11:38We don't have time or resources to deal with things that aren't giving us the results.
00:11:42Understood.
00:11:44Now that we have that matter out of the way, why don't we talk about something entirely
00:11:48personal?
00:12:11This is not good.
00:12:17I'm guessing this bite was caused by mako.
00:12:20Adult teeth, the patterns are a dead giveaway.
00:12:22Why?
00:12:23The normal pathogens fought against the viral samples that I took from this body for the
00:12:28first time.
00:12:29Seriously?
00:12:30Look.
00:12:36Oh that's amazing.
00:12:37This could be the break we need.
00:12:39All we need to do now is test against another species and see if we get the same reaction.
00:12:44But if we don't...
00:12:45Well then we're back to square one.
00:12:46But if we do...
00:12:48Then we can create a universal antidote.
00:12:50It'll cure all known strains.
00:12:53Yes.
00:13:03Why do you carry a gun?
00:13:04If you fired it inside of sickness you'd bring the whole ocean down on us.
00:13:08Not if you get in the way and your body slows down the bullet.
00:13:12I thought it was an extension of your member.
00:13:15Yeah.
00:13:16You can borrow it after the meeting if you want to.
00:13:18Just wipe it off before you're done.
00:13:20Okay.
00:13:21Don't provoke him, Ann.
00:13:24Okay.
00:13:25What does everyone have for me?
00:13:27Muldoon is not happy with our lack of progress and I'm afraid we're running out of time.
00:13:32What's she have to report?
00:13:33Things are bad topside.
00:13:35She wants us to destroy the shark specimens and if we're to capture another one to begin
00:13:40new testing immediately.
00:13:41You can't destroy them.
00:13:43They are living creatures.
00:13:45They're infected animals.
00:13:47Responsible for the downfall of mankind.
00:13:49Stick to your tinker toy and leave the brain power to us.
00:13:54This tinker toy, as you call it, may not have much time left.
00:13:58I've found signs of strain, leaking.
00:14:00The pressure is taking its toll and without the needed repairs that I asked for, it's only
00:14:05a matter of time.
00:14:07How much time?
00:14:10I asked you a question.
00:14:11How much time?
00:14:13My professional opinion, based on the findings, a few weeks tops.
00:14:18Just great.
00:14:19Okay, thank you.
00:14:22That's it?
00:14:22Thank you?
00:14:24We could be crushed any moment by structure failure and that's all you have?
00:14:28Thank you?
00:14:29Richter will continue to assess the situation and-
00:14:32Bad idea, Greg.
00:14:33We'll continue with our mission.
00:14:34Is that clear?
00:14:36Good.
00:14:37We'll destroy the specimens immediately and capture another with the sounding net.
00:14:42Richter will continue to analyze the situation and keep us informed.
00:14:46Ladies, what do you have for me?
00:14:49We may have a breakthrough.
00:14:50The cadaver's infectious cells seem to be unable to fight off the normal coagulants.
00:14:55This is the first time this has occurred.
00:14:58What do you think is the reason?
00:15:00A weakening strain in the virus?
00:15:02Maybe the species carrier?
00:15:04All I know is we have to continue down this path.
00:15:07It's all we have.
00:15:08And it's imperative we capture a new shark immediately.
00:15:11This is good news.
00:15:12Let's beat it before it beats us.
00:15:24Here, fishy fishy fishy.
00:16:05The carcasses of the sharks will attract others.
00:16:08Duke, assist her with the capture of a fresh specimen.
00:16:12Aye aye, Captain.
00:16:15You heard him, doll face.
00:16:17Let's get ourselves a big one.
00:16:35Here comes the infected bastards now.
00:16:37Get ready to grab one.
00:16:45You got it.
00:16:46You got it.
00:16:47You got it.
00:16:47Reel it in.
00:16:59Congratulations.
00:17:00You got a great white.
00:17:03Face.
00:17:04Spin.
00:17:06Tail.
00:17:10Hey, watch it.
00:17:11What, are you afraid of a little fishy?
00:17:13Yeah.
00:17:14Fuck you.
00:17:16Not even at the bottom of these feet.
00:17:21You got it.
00:17:23미ч
00:17:24You got it.
00:17:27Keep up.
00:17:32Help me.
00:17:34Thanks.
00:18:19Are we watching you or are you watching us?
00:18:32When this is all over I'm going to tear you to
00:18:34pieces in person.
00:18:36Well that may be sooner than you think.
00:18:39What do you mean?
00:18:40Did you find a cure?
00:18:41We've made some positive steps forward but we need more time.
00:18:45You haven't?
00:18:47Not exactly.
00:18:49Richter has found some weakness in Cygnus' hall.
00:18:52He thinks we may only have a few weeks.
00:18:54We might need an extraction.
00:18:56I think Richter is being paranoid.
00:18:58That facility is well built and...
00:19:00over 30 years old and was given an illegal inspection pass so we could conduct experiments
00:19:06here.
00:19:06Let's not kid one another.
00:19:09Yes you're right.
00:19:11Keep me updated on Richter's reporting.
00:19:14I will.
00:19:15He's doing a thorough check now.
00:19:17Tell me more about the antidote.
00:19:19Ann has made a breakthrough in the shop at one strain.
00:19:22It appears she has successfully been able to fight off a strain of the virus.
00:19:26Interesting.
00:19:28On a scale of one to ten, where do you see us finding a cure?
00:19:31A marketable cure?
00:19:33Hmm, I'd say a seven.
00:19:35I really think we're close but will it be too late?
00:19:38It will never be too late.
00:19:40Millions upon millions have died.
00:19:44But many will survive.
00:19:46Gregory, have you ever thought about what the possessor of the cure for Shabbat One holds
00:19:50in their hands?
00:19:52Salvation?
00:19:53The world.
00:19:55Gregory, let me tell you what I can offer you.
00:20:08So tell me, Chief.
00:20:10What's the real story here?
00:20:11How soon before this tuna can implodes?
00:20:15Does it matter?
00:20:17Of course it does.
00:20:18I want to get my way back home.
00:20:20And that elevator shaft to the surface pad is our only way in and out of here.
00:20:25So you gotta keep us tight.
00:20:27Once we find a cure, if we find a cure, what if they leave us here?
00:20:34No.
00:20:35Then we'll be heroes to the human race.
00:20:38For those who succeed, there are always those who want the reigning glory.
00:20:43Is that like, uh, from the Bible or the front of some reading card?
00:20:48No.
00:20:49It's ancient philosophy.
00:20:51It means our hard work may be taken from us and delivered by someone else.
00:20:55And we're left down here to die.
00:20:58Now that you put it that way, it does kinda suck.
00:21:01Keep your eyes peeled and your mind open.
00:21:07Wish that guy would speak English.
00:21:08Duke, please report to the tank area.
00:21:12Need assistance.
00:21:15Think about what I said, Gregory.
00:21:17Think hard.
00:21:18Report back at 1300 hours.
00:21:35Hey lady, I get paid to protect, not to assist in lab work.
00:21:39I need to get a sample from the shark and I can't do it myself.
00:21:43Where's your girlfriend, Anna?
00:21:44She's a biologist, isn't she?
00:21:46She's dissecting a cadaver.
00:21:48Yeah, well, what's in it for me?
00:21:51The next time I shower, I'll let you guard the door.
00:21:54Ooh.
00:21:55Now you got my attention.
00:21:58I need you to snag the shark and pull it to the side.
00:22:02I just need five seconds to get a sample.
00:22:05The bastard's strong.
00:22:07He can pull me in.
00:22:08You fight him off with your muches, Mom.
00:22:11My what?
00:22:12I fed him fish, loaded the sedatives earlier.
00:22:15That should be enough to manage him.
00:22:17Let's go.
00:22:25This isn't working.
00:22:27You need to attract his attention.
00:22:29Smack the water with the pull.
00:22:31He likes the vibration.
00:22:32Oh.
00:22:33A little aquatic S&M.
00:22:35Who likes that?
00:22:43Here we go.
00:23:16Damn, I'm getting chumpy.
00:24:04What the hell you waiting for?
00:24:05I can't hold this thing much longer.
00:24:18I got it!
00:24:20Damn!
00:24:22That thing bit me!
00:24:25Let me see, let me see.
00:24:27Don't be a scratch.
00:24:29I got away.
00:24:31Who cares?
00:24:32You got what you wanted, right?
00:24:33Yes.
00:24:35You better get to the lab and let Ann fix you up.
00:24:37You think so?
00:24:53I'm gonna get paid enough for this crap!
00:25:01Gregory!
00:25:02Gregory!
00:25:05Yes, Christy?
00:25:06What is it?
00:25:07I was able to retrieve a new blood sample from the Great White.
00:25:10Good.
00:25:11You and Ann worked together on the antidote.
00:25:13We're running out of time.
00:25:14The shark escaped and Duke was scratched.
00:25:16He's on his way to the lab to get patched up.
00:25:19Is it serious?
00:25:20He'll live.
00:25:21Just a scratch that drew blood.
00:25:23Sorry about the shark.
00:25:24As long as you got the samples, it's of no concern.
00:25:27I'll get right back to work and keep you posted.
00:25:30You do that.
00:25:38That was fast, Gregory.
00:25:40What's your answer?
00:25:41I'm in.
00:25:43Don't let me down.
00:25:45Don't let me down.
00:26:15I'm in.
00:26:17What's your answer?
00:26:20The precious building.
00:26:25Damn!
00:26:28Buzz off! Shoo!
00:26:47Pressure is rising.
00:26:58Ann?
00:27:00You around, Ann?
00:27:03Ann?
00:27:05I'm injured here, I could use a little medical attention.
00:27:11Guess I'll have to fix it myself.
00:27:18Let's go!
00:27:24Mother of God, that hurts!
00:27:27Ugh!
00:27:45Thanks for nothing, Ann!
00:27:56Gregory, Gregory, I need to speak with you.
00:27:58I'm on my way to the med lab, can I wait?
00:28:00This is of utmost importance.
00:28:02Alright, out with it.
00:28:03The pressure on the hull is increasing faster than I had initially indicated.
00:28:07Great, just great.
00:28:08You said a few weeks.
00:28:10With any luck, we'll be out of here in a few days.
00:28:11We don't have a few days.
00:28:13Well, how much time do we have?
00:28:15We have, well...
00:28:17Less than 48 hours.
00:28:19Shit, that screws up everything.
00:28:22What do you mean?
00:28:24I want an in-depth analysis on your findings and report directly to me.
00:28:27We need to evacuate, right now!
00:28:29You'll do as you're told and not tell anyone.
00:28:32Do you understand?
00:28:34We have plenty of time to evacuate.
00:28:36Right now, we need to proceed with caution.
00:28:39If you insist...
00:28:41I do insist.
00:28:42Now, get busy with your analysis.
00:28:53What awful timing.
00:29:14Ann!
00:29:15I have another blood sample to run against the culture.
00:29:21Where the hell is she?
00:29:24I can run a sample test just as good as she can.
00:29:39My god, that's it.
00:29:42The secret was in the metabolic level.
00:29:45The serum was here all along.
00:29:50We can duplicate this topside.
00:29:52We can start using it.
00:29:55The only thing going topside is your antidote and myself.
00:29:58Hand it over.
00:30:21Maybe I'll feel better if I lay down for a little while.
00:30:39How the hell can that be?
00:30:54What the hell caused that?
00:30:57What the hell caused that?
00:31:01No fucking way!
00:31:03What the hell caused that?
00:31:10No fucking way!
00:31:11It's pretty obvious, isn't it?
00:31:13You won't get away with this.
00:31:15What makes you think that?
00:31:16Because they'll ask questions when you get topside.
00:31:19Maybe, but they'll believe what I tell them.
00:31:22Let me guess.
00:31:24You'll escape while we meet an unfortunate accident?
00:31:28I'll add a few more heroics to the details, but yeah, more or less.
00:31:32Just be cautious...
00:31:33Oh.
00:31:34Oh.
00:31:43You so..
00:31:49You are the.
00:31:52You're that overwhelming.
00:31:55You're touched.
00:31:57Yeah.
00:32:01Those of you guys take two of us because I want to wake up with
00:32:11Shit, the shark's gone crazy.
00:32:14This is my ticket to everything I've always wanted.
00:32:17Your ambition lies in microscopes and test tubes.
00:32:20Mine lies in power.
00:32:22You're a fool.
00:32:25Muldoon, she set you up to this, didn't she?
00:32:28Who needs her?
00:32:29Sure. She would have stolen the accolades anyway.
00:32:32I will give her credit for inspiring my devious bait and switch.
00:32:37What makes you think she won't have armed guards waiting for you once you get topside?
00:32:42You step on that platform, you know she's probably playing, you...
00:32:46There's too much at stake. We're both in it 50-50.
00:32:50I think your math skills and her math skills are slightly different.
00:32:55It doesn't matter. You won't be around long enough to find out.
00:33:05I'll kill you. I swear I'll kill you.
00:33:08I should really take a look at that bite.
00:33:10You're not looking at anything.
00:33:11What the hell happened to her?
00:33:13You tell me. You're both messing around in this lab. She look like a mad dog.
00:33:17I wonder...
00:33:18Sleep on it.
00:33:32Gregory, Gregory! Not now, Richter!
00:33:36Gregory, we're all gonna die.
00:33:56Ah!
00:34:07Uh...
00:34:08loose ends I have to take care of here.
00:34:11I have an extraction team waiting for me topside in 40 minutes.
00:34:14Hurry! As fast as you can.
00:34:17What?
00:34:20It's bad up here. Real bad.
00:34:23The virus is spreading rapidly.
00:34:28Executions and burials on a mass scale.
00:34:32Gregory, I need the serum.
00:34:35I'm sending an extraction team.
00:34:38Please hurry.
00:34:42I need the shaft authorization key.
00:34:45Where is it?
00:35:22Hey there.
00:35:24Miss Anne, is that you?
00:35:30Don't be playing games with me. We're in serious trouble.
00:35:50This place is getting weirder by the minute.
00:35:59I feel that bastard.
00:36:03Are you okay, Christy?
00:36:04Just a little bump on my head.
00:36:06This place has gone mad.
00:36:08Anne is creeping around the halls. Gregory is in a mood.
00:36:12Gregory betrayed us. He took off with the antidote.
00:36:15He's going topside.
00:36:17Anne is infected. I don't know how, but she is.
00:36:21It gets worse than that, I'm afraid.
00:36:23How much worse?
00:36:24The Cygnus has about 30 hours of life left in her before she implodes.
00:36:28But it won't matter because all the oxygen will be gone in less than eight hours.
00:36:32Why did you have to tell me that?
00:36:33We need to evacuate.
00:36:35Duke, we have to get Duke.
00:36:36Okay, we'll get out of here.
00:37:02Duke, Duke wake up, wake up, wake up.
00:37:04What the hell?
00:37:05Am I dreaming?
00:37:06Oh, it's a nightmare.
00:37:09We have to get out of here. We're leaving.
00:37:12Leaving?
00:37:13We have to get to Gregory before he gets to the elevator and abandons us with the antidote.
00:37:17Antidote? I might need some of that stuff. I never liked that guy anyway.
00:37:22You never liked anyone. Grab your guns. We might need him if some heat goes down.
00:37:27I'll listen to you.
00:37:28Come on.
00:37:36Come?
00:37:49Come on.
00:37:52Take it all.
00:38:04What?
00:38:30The end of the day is the end of the day.
00:38:36The end of the day is the end of the day.
00:38:36I don't know.
00:39:17Damn it, we might be too late.
00:39:20Maybe not.
00:39:21Come on!
00:39:39It's too late, you can't stop me!
00:39:56Once these doors close, it's too late for you!
00:40:03See you in hell!
00:40:05We're not going to stop, it's too late!
00:40:10Don't worry, I shot him in the femoral artery.
00:40:16Asshole, bleed to death before he gets up top!
00:40:40What's that?
00:40:45The fishy short I forgot to mention.
00:40:47Oh great, this just keeps getting better and better.
00:41:15All right, last bit of antidote we have left.
00:41:17Is that going to cure me or am I going to turn into one of those virus things?
00:41:21I don't know, you're the first live guinea pig we've tested it on.
00:41:24That gives me a lot of confidence.
00:41:25Do you think it will work on Anne, or is she too far gone?
00:41:28I don't have any left, I can make some more.
00:41:31What difference will it make?
00:41:33Yeah, that's right.
00:41:34We either suffocate from no air, get crushed from the pressure, or get eaten by that virus-faced shark.
00:41:40Great options we have here.
00:41:42We need a plan.
00:41:43Yeah, we need a plan all right.
00:41:44What the hell is it?
00:41:46We need help from Topside.
00:41:48They can set a submersible down to extract us.
00:41:51Well, let's get on the horn then.
00:41:58We connected.
00:42:00You're breaking up, what?
00:42:02This is emergency personnel needing extraction at Cygnus Research Base.
00:42:07All hell is breaking loose up here.
00:42:09Our surface elevator was destroyed.
00:42:12The situation is grim.
00:42:14Structure failure and oxygen disruption.
00:42:17I don't think we can afford the-
00:42:23Hello? Hello?
00:42:26Damn it!
00:42:27Forget it, we're completely cut off.
00:42:30It's that damn shark.
00:42:31It tore all the oxygen couplings apart.
00:42:33Now it's crippled our communications.
00:42:35Don't forget about the elevator shaft.
00:42:37Why would a shark target us?
00:42:39Just like the rest of the world, the virus has driven it mad.
00:42:42And we're its target.
00:42:44It's that simple.
00:42:45Yeah, this place is going to come down around us and send us into our watery grave.
00:42:49Victor, you designed this place.
00:42:51You have to know all the way out.
00:42:52I retrofitted this installation.
00:42:54I did not design it.
00:42:56Had I, we wouldn't be in this situation.
00:42:58There has to be an alternate oxygen supply.
00:43:00And another way out of here.
00:43:02Even if there was, the pressure failure is crushing us like a tin can.
00:43:06There's gotta be something.
00:43:07Think, man.
00:43:09In the mechanical office, there's schematics and plans.
00:43:12Maybe we can find something there.
00:43:14Let's do it.
00:43:15I'll stay here and work on another batch of the antidote.
00:43:18I'll bolt the door, so knock three times when you come back.
00:43:21Alright, let's get a move on.
00:43:58Hey, did you see that?
00:43:59You look like the shark.
00:44:05Yeah, it's a mean bastard.
00:44:07The brain is infected by the virus.
00:44:08What if he decides to kamikaze these glass plates?
00:44:11How long can you hold your breath?
00:44:13I'm serious.
00:44:15Now, this glass is as tough as they come.
00:44:17But with the weakening structure, who knows how much force it can withstand.
00:44:20Great.
00:44:50Great.
00:45:11What the hell?!
00:45:25Oh, my God.
00:45:52Oh, my God.
00:46:13She's starting to go.
00:46:16Where are you going?
00:46:28Not there.
00:46:30No, that's no good.
00:46:35No.
00:46:36Bad.
00:46:37Bad.
00:46:38Bad.
00:46:40Bad.
00:46:41Bad.
00:46:41Bad.
00:46:41Is there an invisible man in the room or would you like to talk to me?
00:46:45Quiet, Duke.
00:46:45I'm looking.
00:46:46For what?
00:46:47A solution.
00:46:48Oh, shit.
00:46:49Can't reroute the oxygen lines.
00:46:52Impossible.
00:46:54Meaning it's all over, my friend.
00:47:05Damn it.
00:47:07Hey, watch it.
00:47:10Wait a minute.
00:47:13What is this?
00:47:20That's good.
00:47:21We don't have much time.
00:47:23We don't have much time.
00:47:25We don't have much time.
00:47:25We gotta go.
00:47:27No.
00:47:30Oh, shit.
00:47:31Get away from me.
00:47:33No.
00:47:34Get away from me.
00:47:35No.
00:47:36Get away from me.
00:47:36No.
00:47:37No.
00:47:40No.
00:47:43Get away from me.
00:47:49Well, it's all over then.
00:47:50Not exactly.
00:47:53What does that mean?
00:47:54I have no idea.
00:47:55He won't tell me either.
00:47:57On level D, there's an escape pod.
00:47:59A backup in case the shaft failed.
00:48:01It's designed to balance the pressure and slowly rise.
00:48:05Let's go.
00:48:25I think it's just a bike.
00:48:35Here it is.
00:48:37We're gonna have to go one at a time.
00:48:39Where do you go first?
00:48:40Okay.
00:48:48Okay, Victor.
00:48:49You're locked.
00:48:54Buckley.
00:48:55We don't have much time.
00:48:56Where's Duke?
00:48:58He was right behind me.
00:49:02Ah!
00:49:04Ah!
00:49:05Ah!
00:49:06Ah!
00:49:07Ah!
00:49:08Ah!
00:49:09Ah!
00:49:09Ah!
00:49:10Ah!
00:49:15Just go!
00:49:17Save yourself!
00:49:22No!
00:49:23No!
00:49:24No!
00:49:24It's too late for him.
00:49:27Ah!
00:49:30Just go!
00:49:33Save yourself!
00:49:35No!
00:49:37It's too late for him.
00:49:56At least we have the antidote.
00:49:58At least we have the antidote.
00:50:10What the bloody hell is that?
00:50:12It's the virus shark.
00:50:14What drives that demon animal?
00:50:16Oh my god, look!
00:50:34How much longer do we reach the surface?
00:50:38About 45 minutes.
00:50:40Are we going to make it?
00:50:42We made it this far.
00:51:16It's too late for him.
00:51:17That's just a little...
00:51:17I'm tired of him!
00:51:18Oh!
00:51:25I'm tired of him!
00:51:28Ah!
00:51:28Ah!
00:51:28Ah!
00:51:30Ah!
00:51:30Ah!
00:51:37Ah!
00:51:39Oh!
00:51:51It's okay. You're only dreaming.
00:51:53Look, we're almost at the surface.
00:51:55Ten more minutes.
00:51:58Oh, thank God.
00:52:00Oh, thank you for everything.
00:52:03Don't mention it.
00:52:10It's attacking us.
00:52:14We're almost to the top.
00:52:22This should give him something to think about.
00:52:27There, take that.
00:52:29He'll think twice before doing that again.
00:52:46Oh, thank you.
00:53:28Oh, thank you.
00:53:43Oh, thank you.
00:53:47Oh, thank you.
00:53:51Oh, thank you.
00:54:28At first, I thought it had been a bad dream.
00:54:32Then I saw the wreckage, and I knew what had happened was all too real.
00:54:39I was somewhere, nowhere, but I was at least alive, and I had the serum.
00:54:48I'm guessing Richter is gone, eaten by the mutated shark.
00:54:52I need to find someone, something, a semblance of reality to help me from going insane.
00:55:01Maybe it's all over, maybe there is no one else.
00:55:24It's all over, maybe there is no one else.
00:55:40Hello?
00:55:42I'm Christy.
00:55:44Do you know where I am?
00:55:46Do you know where I can find some help?
00:55:52Oh.
00:55:55I see.
00:56:21Hello?
00:56:23Hello?
00:56:25Hello?
00:56:25Hello?
00:56:37Hello?
00:56:39Hello?
00:56:44Hello?
00:56:48Let's go.
00:57:19This is about as fast food as it's going to get.
00:58:02I'm going crazy.
00:58:07Well, well, well.
00:58:08What do we have here?
00:58:10Today is our lucky day.
00:58:12Please, I need your help.
00:58:13I need to get to someone in authority.
00:58:15Ha ha ha ha.
00:58:17There's no authority.
00:58:19No help for you.
00:58:25What are you looking at?
00:58:28She's clean.
00:58:29She's clean.
00:58:31I'm from an underwater research base.
00:58:34We found a cure for the virus.
00:58:35I just need to get to any officials.
00:58:37Consider us officials now.
00:58:40This is Jojo.
00:58:41I'm Mace.
00:58:42And that's garbage.
00:58:46Come on, give that back.
00:58:49I'll take that.
00:58:51No one tells Mace what to do.
00:58:53Lesson learned.
00:58:54I'll hold on to these.
00:58:56Where am I?
00:58:58You're with us.
00:59:00The whole world has gone to hell.
00:59:02People and places don't matter anymore.
00:59:05What are we going to do with her?
00:59:07I have a few ideas.
00:59:11Shut up, the bunch of you.
00:59:14I'm the man in charge here.
00:59:16I'll decide what and when I do her.
00:59:19Y'all get the leftovers.
00:59:23Tie her up.
00:59:24We don't want her getting away.
00:59:27You're making a big mistake.
00:59:29Wouldn't be the first time, Missy.
00:59:32Not so rough.
00:59:33You don't know what rough is, lady.
00:59:35But you will soon.
00:59:37Have garbage get the water from the creek.
00:59:43But Mace!
00:59:46But what?
00:59:46Some skirt shows up and you forget we have to survive.
00:59:52All right.
00:59:54All right.
01:00:12You better not be lying to us.
01:00:14About what?
01:00:15About you being from a research base.
01:00:19Maybe she's a marauder and hasn't turned yet.
01:00:22What's a marauder?
01:00:23One of us.
01:00:25Except you're driven by the madness to drink blood.
01:00:29No, that's not me.
01:00:32So this is the antidote, huh?
01:00:35We could end up big men with this in our hands.
01:00:39I knew someone who had that same idea and it didn't end well.
01:00:43That's just a sample.
01:00:44I could make more.
01:00:45We have to get to a lab.
01:00:46There's a research facility about 30 miles.
01:00:50Can it, Jojo!
01:00:51You don't need to be telling any secrets.
01:00:55Lady, I'm going to let you live for now for a couple of reasons.
01:01:00But cross me and you'll die.
01:01:02Slowly.
01:01:04May I please have some water?
01:01:06I'm very thirsty.
01:01:07When garbage gets back.
01:01:09Until then, sit over there and shut up.
01:01:13Hold.
01:01:49Any of you mutant morons want to start something?
01:01:53I'm going to blow your heads off.
01:02:42I'm going to blow your heads off.
01:02:43Not one of you yet.
01:02:44Come and get it!
01:02:48Two down, more to go.
01:03:18Wake up, Jojo!
01:03:21You can't see the marauders with both your eyes closed.
01:03:30You're pretty.
01:03:32Real pretty.
01:03:35All we get to look at is marauders.
01:03:38And we're not too far away from being ones ourselves.
01:03:42A year.
01:03:44Or maybe less.
01:03:47We all have our cross to bear, don't we?
01:03:50I had a wife.
01:03:52Two kids.
01:03:54They're dead now.
01:03:56Along with the rest of the world.
01:03:58It's like living in a science fiction movie that never ends.
01:04:03We're researching the virus.
01:04:05It took us a really long time to find the cure.
01:04:08But we did.
01:04:09You sure were safe down in your bubble.
01:04:12Playing with the fish.
01:04:14Sharks.
01:04:15Not fish.
01:04:16We did the best we could under the conditions.
01:04:19And what conditions were those?
01:04:21Safety.
01:04:22Warmth.
01:04:23Companionship.
01:04:24Purpose.
01:04:25All we got were misery.
01:04:28You come here with your cure for a bunch of mindless nomads who don't want it.
01:04:46Water.
01:04:49I had to kill two marauders.
01:04:52They're getting more bold and vicious.
01:04:55We better be careful out there.
01:04:58Not that we all have something to live for.
01:05:01Get her a drink.
01:05:11You rotten demons!
01:05:13Come and get us if you dare.
01:05:15What are we going to do now, Mace?
01:05:17I have a plan.
01:05:19First we'll eat dinner.
01:05:21Come on, let's break out the rations.
01:05:26The way I see it, we got all the cards when we find the authorities.
01:05:31If we find authorities.
01:05:33What do you propose we do?
01:05:35We have the serum.
01:05:37And we have her.
01:05:39Both are good bargaining chips.
01:05:41I want a million dollars.
01:05:43I want a million dollars.
01:06:11Too many marauders.
01:06:13You're forgetting about the sharks.
01:06:15Hey, what's this about sharks?
01:06:19People aren't the only ones affected by this virus.
01:06:22Sharks are too.
01:06:24And it makes them blood hungry.
01:06:25When I washed ashore, I saw a swarm of them.
01:06:30Maybe walking ain't such a bad idea.
01:06:33I never did like the water.
01:06:35We'll take the boat.
01:06:37It's safer that way.
01:06:38And I'm not afraid of no sharks.
01:06:40It's your funeral.
01:06:45I'd back off if I were you.
01:06:46Why's that, smart mouth?
01:06:48Because if you kill me, you decrease your chance at leverage.
01:06:52Once that serum is gone, only I can make a new batch.
01:06:59Gather our stuff.
01:07:01We're moving out.
01:07:33Take them out.
01:07:48Where'd she go?
01:07:49We've got to find her.
01:08:08Come on.
01:08:09Where's Jim?
01:08:10We've got to find her.
01:08:15You better help Mace find you first.
01:08:18Bitch.
01:08:27You can't escape us.
01:08:29The marauders will find you if we don't.
01:08:47Any sign of her?
01:08:48She's nowhere to be found, Mace.
01:08:50She'll go to the beach.
01:08:52It's not safe in the woods.
01:08:53She knows we have a boat there.
01:08:55Come on.
01:09:01I have to find that boat.
01:09:03I'll take my chances with the shark.
01:09:31I'll take my chances with the shark.
01:09:48Oh, you cost us a lot of trouble, girly.
01:09:51And after we showed you so much hospitality, thanks for getting the boat ready.
01:09:56Screw you.
01:09:57There'll be time for that later.
01:09:59Jojo, get the boat launched.
01:10:19I don't think this is such a good idea.
01:10:21Do as you told you, half-wit, and be quick about it.
01:10:30See you, big baby?
01:10:32There's nothing to be afraid of.
01:10:42No, you're not getting out of here.
01:10:51Are you okay, miss?
01:10:53Yes.
01:10:56You're from the Cygnus Research Facility?
01:10:58Yes.
01:11:01You have orders to come with me.
01:11:03We traced a recon signal from your escape pod to this island.
01:11:07Do you have the serum?
01:11:14Is it too late?
01:11:16No, ma'am.
01:11:17But the world isn't the same.
01:11:19Never will be.
01:11:22Come on.
01:11:23The submarine is waiting offshore to take us to a secret base off Canadian waters.
01:11:28Why there?
01:11:29It's all that's left of humanity.
01:11:32130 people, including the submarine crew and yourself.
01:11:35Come on.
01:11:57It really is.
01:11:59All over.
01:12:03All over.
01:12:24All over.
01:12:29Oh, my God.
