Ukraine has officially unveiled the Magura MV11, the largest unmanned surface vehicle (USV) developed within the Magura family.

The new vessel was designed to remain operational at sea for up to a week and carry payloads of up to 2.2 tonnes. In the configuration revealed so far, the drone boat carries 18 Sting interceptors, effectively turning the platform into a mobile anti-drone battery capable of operating far from the coast.

The concept significantly expands the potential roles of Ukrainian naval drones. The Sting interceptors are small quadcopter drones equipped with explosive warheads and designed to engage other unmanned aircraft. According to the manufacturer, they can reach altitudes of up to 7,000 meters and have a maximum range of around 37 kilometers.

Because they can be recovered if they fail to hit their target, the interceptors may also be reused. The system has reportedly already been employed against Russian drones derived from the Shahed-136.
