00:41So Sardinia and the United States are finally connected by the flight Olvia, United States, Olvia, New York.
00:50So do you think that Sardinia is attractive for Americans?
00:54Well, that's obvious. That's why Delta has a direct flight and that's why United is looking at a direct flight
01:02and has confirmed it.
01:04This is one of the greatest places in the world, Sardinia, and I think that Americans want to come here.
01:10But, you know, Americans are spoiled and it's got to be convenient for them and they don't want to catch
01:14a ferry out of Rome to get here.
01:16And so, you know, it's amazing. Somebody flew from Houston that joined me on the boat and was able to
01:24switch planes, I believe, in London and come straight here.
01:27So, not only to Americans, but to Europe, the whole island of Sardinia is becoming a very special place for
01:36people all over the world.
01:37I think if you look at your tourist numbers over the last 20 years, that every single year it goes
01:43up.
01:43And, you know, I was just telling a reporter upstairs that there's more of the largest yachts in the world
01:52come here than any other place.
01:54Isn't that amazing? That ought to tell you that people who have big yachts love coming here, but people who
02:00have to come here and not spend a lot of money love coming here.
02:04But it's a very special place. It has thousands of years of history.
02:09It's got some of the most beautiful islands in the world that are so well taken care of by the
02:15Italian national parks.
02:17And it's a very special place. And that's why I've been coming here myself since 2010.
02:47...
03:34Grazie a tutti.
04:14Grazie a tutti.
04:17Grazie a tutti.
05:14Grazie a tutti.
05:24Grazie a tutti.
