00:00Palmeiras needed only 10 minutes to score 3 times against Vasco da Gama.
00:04and pave the way for a 4-1 thrashing of our rivals here at Allianz Parque in the Brazilian Championship.
00:11If the first stage was a reflection of Palmeiras' recent run of rather poor football,
00:17the rival controlling the action at certain times in the Palmeiras stadium,
00:22The second half was a display of football befitting a team that leads the Brazilian Championship.
00:27Two fantastic goals from Flaco Lopes, who is Palmeiras' main star this season.
00:31It's almost redundant to praise the Argentinian striker, but today he had two impressive long-range shots.
00:37Two fantastic goals from Flaquito, and Palmeiras saw their top scorer find the back of the net again.
00:43And speaking of goalscorers, Vitor Roque also scored again.
00:47Vitor Roque hadn't scored a goal since the Paulista Championship final.
00:51Also in March, Tigrinho scored again from a penalty kick.
00:54So only positive news for Palmeiras, who also saw Maurício score in a beautiful counter-attack.
01:00So, if the first half was marked by some doubts here at Nubank Park,
01:04even a bit of excitement from the stands,
01:07The second one was pure ecstasy here at Casa Alviverde.
01:12They now have a six-point lead over Flamengo, who are in second place.
01:17Flamengo lost in this round, but also still has one game less played.
01:20So Palmeiras is now regaining a bit of a cushion at the top of the Brazilian Championship.
01:26At the end of the match, Abel made some remarks, in addition to talking, of course, about the transfer market.
01:32But still focusing on the field and the ball, he went on to praise the versatility of the Palmeiras team.
01:37and especially the ability to adapt during matches.
01:41It wasn't the first time the coach had commented a bit on his conversations with the squad.
01:46during the break and again today he demanded a level of football appropriate for the occasion.
01:51with what the current cast members can offer.
01:54And so, the charge had its effect.
01:56Palmeiras scored just two minutes into the second half through Flaco Lopes.
01:59And then, as we've already mentioned, in ten minutes he secured that victory.
02:04It's a victory full of positive aspects.
02:07And here's some information for you all as well.
02:10I spoke with some people here from the Palmeiras Football Department.
02:13And Paulinho, initially, will be unavailable for this next match.
02:18against Santos in the first leg of the Copa do Brasil.
02:20Palmeiras is working internally to acquire its number 10 player.
02:25in the match against Mirassol this weekend.
02:27Alan, on the other hand, is still in negotiations with Manchester City.
02:31Palmeiras, from what I could hear here today as well,
02:34They will sell the player if an offer of 40 million euros arrives.
02:37That proposal hasn't arrived yet.
02:39City only offered 35 million euros.
02:42So, if that proposal doesn't arrive by Wednesday,
02:45The Academy Child will be related
02:47And once again he will be a starter for the Palmeiras team.
02:50So, we invite you to check out this post on LAN's social media.
02:54If you follow along on the website as well,
02:56This is the reaction to yet another Palmeiras victory in the Brazilian Championship.
