00:00I met a person who claimed to be in love with me and I made some commitments but it's been
00:05a few
00:06months and I'm not comfortable with the idea of a long term with him. So is it unfair to the
00:14other
00:14person? Is it being greedy? Why should I demand that you remain committed for the next 2000 years
00:21or why should I commit myself for the next 2000 years?
00:26Isn't that just absurd? And I could as well remain with you for the next 2000 years but that would
00:33be exactly the way it is right now. Step by step, day by day. Not that I am particularly eager
00:39to fly
00:39away. Long term relationship is not a problem. A planned, thought out, constructed in advance
00:47relationship is a problem. It might actually be beautiful to grow old together, to be with someone
00:53for next 50 years. But it's beautiful when it's day by day. Not when it has been made binding
01:01upon you by forces of society, culture and law.
