00:04Hello everyone, welcome again to another Trish Trish E tutorial. So today I'm going to be
00:13showing you how to make a bracelet out of a wheel. Okay, so if you like my tutorial,
00:24please remember to link, share, subscribe, hit that bell because you don't want to miss
00:29anything, okay? Okay, so let's go. So you're going to need seven pieces of string and I think I'll take
00:38this green, no, I'm going to need the green and take this one out because I have color. So here's
00:45your wheel, okay? Here's your wheel. I made this wheel out of a folder. I just cut the fold up.
00:57It's a little thick. You know you have the wheels that you can buy in the stores to, you know,
01:04do this project. So you need three, you need seven pieces of string. So one, two, just putting them
01:16together. Two, three, four, five, six, seven. And I will take this piece back, put this over there,
01:41okay? And we're just going to tie it. I'm going to tie it like this. Okay, so we just tie
02:01all the strings
02:02together like that. So you make a knot like that. So now what you're going to do is you're going
02:10to put
02:11them in under there like that. Now you're going to, oh, first of all, even before we do that,
02:25so to make this, you got to have eight wheels. So what you do is you just make a circle
02:30and you cut
02:32out triangle shapes. You make eight shapes, but in between one of these, you're going to leave one open.
02:39So that's why you need seven pieces of string or yarn or whatever it is that you're using, okay?
02:46So I just cut this out, made a circle, made the lines and just cut it. So we're going to
02:53put this in the middle.
02:55Like that, okay? Now you're going to put, you're going to assign the strings. You're going to put them like
03:02this, okay?
03:07Each string on, just like that.
03:23Put it on, I'm getting them on, and then you're going to see how this works. It's really cool.
03:38Okay. So now we have all our strings on, right? And it's one open. So what you're going to do
03:49is you're just
03:50going to count three times. One, two, three. And that third one, you're going to move to the open one
03:57like that.
03:59So you count. One, two, three. Move that string. Always going to move it to the open one. One, two,
04:07three. Okay?
04:10And then we're going to keep doing that. Okay? This is the third one. Okay?
04:22And that's it. Basically, this is what you're going to do. You're going to keep moving those strings over.
04:28And then as you keep moving them, you're going to see what's going to happen. Okay?
04:38But just keep doing like that because sometimes the string can get tangled.
04:46So you want to keep, you know, moving it that way.
04:50Okay? You're going to always put it to the open one. Okay?
04:59This is a really great project for kids.
05:04They want to learn how to make bracelets and stuff.
05:08They can make necklaces. They can make all type of things.
05:12But remember, you always want to start with the third.
05:16You always want to count from here. One, two, three.
05:20So it's always going to be the third one. Okay?
05:26And then you're going to see how lovely it's going to come out.
05:32Okay?
05:35There you go.
05:39So there's always going to be one open.
05:45Just like that.
05:49You just keep switching it.
06:15And then after a while, you're going to see the bracelet coming out.
06:26You're going to see it right here.
06:29See on the bottom.
06:30See on the bottom.
06:32But let's keep going.
06:36Let's do more.
06:37This is really a cool project.
06:40But it is time consuming.
06:44But at the same time that it's time consuming,
06:48it's relaxing.
07:00At the same time that we'll do it.
07:11Yeah, and you just, that's the thing.
07:14You just keep going around and around and around
07:18until you get where you want it to be.
07:28And then once you get where you want it to be,
07:36then you can stop.
07:42But trust me, it gets every color.
07:48You move every color going around and around.
07:54Around she goes.
07:56Where it stops, no one knows.
08:00I know, that was kind of corny, right?
08:04But this is it.
08:06And then when we're done, I'm going to show you how to close it.
08:11It's just something simple.
08:13So, like I said, for me, I love to keep things simple for kids.
08:17I don't like to make it too complex.
08:21Because when you make it too complex,
08:24kids don't want to do it.
08:25They get frustrated.
08:27Or you got to do it for them.
08:29And I don't like to do it.
08:30When I'm teaching kids how to do things,
08:32I really want them to do it.
08:35No matter how it comes out,
08:37I may give them a little help.
08:40But, just a little help.
08:42But I want them to basically complete the project.
08:46Because I always tell them,
08:48if I do it, then it's going to be Ms. Watson's project.
08:52So then, that'll help to give them a little more encouragement to do it.
08:57Because that's what I'll tell them.
08:59You, basically, you got to do it.
09:02I can't do it for you.
09:04I can show you how to do it.
09:07But, I'm not going to do it.
09:09See how beautifully that's coming out, guys?
09:12Okay?
09:13So, let's keep going.
09:16Let's keep going.
09:17We got to do a few more.
09:19We got a few more to go.
09:23A few more.
09:25We got to do it a few more times.
09:33I mean, you can go buy the real wheel.
09:35You can go and buy it at the store.
09:39And I actually have the real wheel.
09:41But, I just wanted to show you that,
09:44how easy it is to do.
09:45Because, you can do it with a thick piece of paper.
09:49Like, you can make this same tool with O-Tag.
09:52You can use cardboard.
09:54All you got to do is make that circle and draw those even lines.
09:59And then, you can make it.
10:00It's really just that simple.
10:03Look, I'm doing it with a piece of folder.
10:08An old folder.
10:09An messed up folder that my son had from when he was in public school.
10:15Grammar school.
10:16Elementary school.
10:20So, you can really do it with anything.
10:23But, if you want to be fancier,
10:25you can just go buy the wheel from Michaels, Amazon, eBay.
10:30You know, if you find them in the 99 cents store,
10:34you can buy them there.
10:36But, why buy it when you can create it?
10:41Just like I did.
10:43See?
10:43It's coming out beautiful, guys.
10:45Let's keep going.
10:48I'm going to keep going.
10:53Keep going.
10:57And, when you make your cuts, your slits,
11:00you want to make them a little wide, too.
11:02When you make the cuts,
11:03if you create this yourself,
11:07you want to do the cuts,
11:08because the cuts are good.
11:15You want to make the cuts deep.
11:18You don't want to make them too small,
11:20because then the yarn can't go in the middle.
11:24You understand?
11:26And then, when we finish,
11:28it's going to just be a simple way to end it.
11:33I'm not going to do nothing too fancy,
11:36which I do know how.
11:38But, like I said,
11:39when you're working with children,
11:41you want to keep things simple.
11:44And when you get to a certain age,
11:46then you can introduce something a little harder to the more complex.
11:50But, I like for kids of all ages, okay,
11:55to be able to do my project.
12:01Whatever I create,
12:03I like for them to be able to do it
12:07and enjoy it as well.
12:11And, look,
12:13it's really easy
12:17to do.
12:20As you can see,
12:21so simple.
12:26Wow, it's really
12:29coming out beautiful, guys.
12:33It's gorgeous.
12:49Still need to do
12:51a little more.
12:53A little more.
12:57Yes,
12:58it is time consuming.
13:01So,
13:02just make sure
13:04that when you get ready
13:05to do this,
13:06you're relaxed,
13:07you know,
13:08be comfortable
13:11to do this.
13:14I love doing these things.
13:17I love showing
13:19kids how to
13:21do things.
13:24It's just so much fun.
13:27And the joy that you get
13:29when you see their little faces
13:30because they'd be so happy.
13:32Like,
13:32I did it.
13:33I created something.
13:35You know,
13:36they say.
13:38So,
13:39then I'll play with them.
13:40I'll use my funny voice
13:42and I say,
13:42oh,
13:43you did something?
13:44You really did?
13:46Wow.
13:47And then,
13:48they'll start laughing
13:49and a lot of times
13:50they'll say,
13:51Miss Watson,
13:51do that funny voice again.
13:53I say,
13:54okay,
13:54Miss Watson,
13:55do that funny voice again.
13:57and then they'll just start
13:58cracking up laughing.
14:01Yeah.
14:02Actually,
14:03I learned that voice.
14:05I had that voice
14:06when I was like
14:07four years old.
14:09I found it.
14:10I don't know how I found it.
14:12I don't know
14:14how I discovered it.
14:16It's just something
14:17that I was always
14:19able to do.
14:22I don't know.
14:24It's just like
14:24something in my throat
14:26moves or switches
14:27and
14:28I make that sound.
14:30That noise.
14:32That's a cute sound.
14:34I always wanted
14:35to get into
14:36cartoon stuff
14:37so do like
14:38a character
14:39with that voice.
14:41But
14:41I looked into it.
14:43I'm not sure
14:44what to do,
14:45how to do it.
14:46Guys,
14:47look
14:47how it's coming out.
14:50Gorgeous.
14:53We got a little
14:55more to go.
14:57Okay.
14:58We got a little
15:00more
15:02to go.
15:09Just keep going.
15:10A little more to go.
15:26A little more to go.
15:34Let's do the second one.
15:35And third.
15:39One.
15:41A little more.
15:45We getting there.
15:56we're getting there
16:00all right
16:14maybe a few more maybe like three more
16:28and yes it's just that simple guys
16:32very easy to do
16:36there's nothing hard about it
16:49okay
16:51a couple of more a couple of more
16:54a couple of more
17:02and then i'm going to pull it out
17:04it's pretty long
17:07all right let's say like three more
17:10one
17:13two
17:17and three
17:18okay so now what we do is we just

18:01now
18:03what we're gonna do
18:05is
18:06we're gonna braid it
18:13we're gonna just braid this part
18:21like this
18:30just like that
18:32leave that like that
18:34now let's do the other side
18:36let's just braid it
19:00so we're just braid it
19:02so we're just braiding it
19:09okay
