00:00I was determined to be with you all today to show my support for this, the
00:06first National Day for Victims and Survivors of Terrorism, and express my
00:15deep personal admiration for all of you, and I will come back to that at the end.
00:23I have got to know some of you well over the years following the terrorist
00:28attacks at the Manchester Arena, and more recently at the Heaton Park Synagogue. I've
00:36got to know Colin and Wendy Parry well over the years, who lost their son Tim
00:44alongside Jonathan Ball in Warrington where I grew up. It is good to meet some
00:52of you for the first time who I've not got to know before. From all of my
00:58experiences, what I do know is this, as the days pass and the world moves on,
01:06you can't, and we've heard that today so powerfully.
