Some experiments end up looking more like a night sky than a workbench.
A glass flask sits on a tabletop as a bright, colored glow forms inside it.
The filmer, Shea, told WooGlobe, “I had gotten a new globe for my plasma toroid generator and was testing it out. What is seen in the video is an inductively coupled plasma, with tungsten carbide nanoparticles used as a dopant to color the plasma inside the flask. It is induced by a modified high-frequency solid-state Tesla coil.''
The light shifts and swirls through the rounded glass, creating a speckled, galaxy-like pattern that changes as the plasma moves.
The controlled setup produces an unexpectedly cosmic look. The clip ends on the steady glow inside the flask in Denmark.
