00:01Two cyclists died after being hit by a vehicle along Jalan Perziaran Selatan in Putrajaya Thursday night.
00:08Putrajaya District Police Chief, ACP, Idisham Mohamed, said the accident happened at 10.15pm,
00:15involving a vehicle driven by a local man in his 40s and two male cyclists in their 40s and 30s.
00:22Initial investigations revealed that the vehicle changed direction from the middle lane to the left lane
00:28before striking the two men.
00:30Both were confirmed dead at the scene due to severe injuries to the face and head.
00:36Investigations are ongoing under Section 41, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987
00:43for causing death by driving recklessly or dangerously.
