00:02And we're underway in the Estadio Bella Vista in Ambato, Ecuador.
00:07Macara against Santos for a place in the quarterfinals of the Copa Street Americana.
00:13Santos have a two.
00:14Davizinho trying to dart inside. That was risky and they've lost possession.
00:19Miranda finds Vieira in some space now.
00:22Mateo Vieira cuts inside onto that favourite right foot.
00:25On the edge of the box now for Campana.
00:27Drills it low, blocked. Gets another chance. Blocked again.
00:33Still with Macara, here's Bolaños.
00:37Happy to play back to Ichabarni in defence though.
00:44Chipped into the area, looking for it. At the back, pause.
00:46Brazón is there to block.
00:49Campana just ghosted in there at the back, unmarked.
00:56Got away from his man.
00:58I think he's just trying to get that across goal, but Brazón makes himself big.
01:02He's in the right position. Did well to block that.
01:04Chance for Macara though. Chipped forward, looking for Posse.
01:10To that far post. Here's Campana.
01:13Opportunity here for Macara. Campana can find some space.
01:16Tried to chip to the far post. Posse is there. He just can't bring it down quick enough.
01:20Still, another chance. Not quite sure what Posse was going for there.
01:25If that was a shot or a cross.
01:29It functioned as neither.
01:32Santos maybe get away with one there.
01:34That's exactly what's happening.
01:35Here's Tassiano.
01:39Gustavinho back to Tassiano.
01:41Trying to link up here. Tassiano does well with his strength.
01:45Trying for a kind of speculative strike though.
01:48And that wouldn't have went anywhere.
01:50But it's still with Santos.
01:55And Añez.
01:56Wings that out of defence.
01:57On the turn.
02:00Caballero.
02:01Tried to fashion some space on the edge of the area.
02:04And wins a free kick.
02:05It's good.
02:06Close control and dribbling skills from Caballero.
02:08And now this is a proper set-piece opportunity for Santos.
02:14Gustavo Caballero.
02:16A real bright spark so far for Santos in this first half.
02:20A little bit of options.
02:24Key moment.
02:26In this game.
02:29John Smich.
02:32And Cristiano Oliva standing over this.
02:35Looks like it might be the right foot.
02:40I don't believe it.
02:43It'll be John Smich.
02:44In fact.
02:46Set himself well.
02:48Seem to have a decent trajectory.
02:50But just.
02:50Well over the bar.
02:52On the number five.
02:56Opportunity squandered.
03:00But.
03:01Also.
03:02On the bright side for Santos.
03:03That's a.
03:04A minute or so.
03:05Of the clock run down.
03:07Campana now.
03:08First chance.
03:09To see him.
03:10Running at the defence.
03:11On this left side.
03:14Hands are off to Miranda.
03:16Miranda.
03:16Crosses in there.
03:18Aussie did get there first.
03:21But Wienerau did well.
03:22To really put him off that.
03:24That.
03:26Makes me easy.
03:28For Gabriel Brazil.
03:29Just to pluck it out of there.
03:30Tassiano nods it forward.
03:32Forz Caballero.
03:34And.
03:35Christian Garay.
03:38Looked like he was going to bring it into the first half.
03:40And there he is.
03:41It's.
03:41Half time.
03:43In the estadio.
03:44Bella Vista.
03:45In.
03:45Ambato.
03:46Ecuador.
03:48It's Macara.
03:49Nil.
03:49Santos.
03:50Nil.
03:51Busy first half.
03:52And.
03:53We've also got Rafael Gonzaga.
03:55Left back.
03:5619 year old.
03:57Coming on.
03:57In place.
03:58Of Davizinho.
04:00Back underway.
04:02For this one.
04:02Macara know.
04:03That they need a goal.
04:04To at least take this one to penalties.
04:09They can win it on the night.
04:12If they manage to score two.
04:14Without reply.
04:15Coming here.
04:16From the right hand side.
04:17Matias Miranda.
04:19Stepping over it.
04:19There.
04:20With his left foot.
04:21It is going to be him.
04:22Once again.
04:23Not finding a Macara head.
04:26Kompana trying to turn that one towards goal.
04:29But he.
04:29Didn't get connection with that volley.
04:33They do hold a decent set piece threat.
04:36But.
04:36As I said.
04:37None of these crosses.
04:38From three kicks off.
04:39From corners.
04:40Have found.
04:42An attacker.
04:44And it's back with the home side.
04:51The other.
04:52The left back.
04:53To take this throw in.
04:55Goes long.
04:56Looking for Franco Posse.
04:57And just to bring that down.
04:59Well.
04:59Can he.
05:00Hand it off.
05:00Gets it to Matteo Vieira.
05:04A bit.
05:05Slack.
05:05But.
05:06Posse tries to strike.
05:07It's blocked well.
05:08By William Arau.
05:09And Santos.
05:10Clear their lines.
05:13Echebarne.
05:19To the goalkeeper.
05:20Rodrigo Rodriguez.
05:21Home crowd.
05:22Telling Gabriel Berrazil.
05:24To get on with it.
05:25Santos will want to.
05:26Run down the clock.
05:27As much as they possibly can.
05:28In the second half.
05:30Opens up now though.
05:31For Tassiano.
05:32He's going to go for a shot.
05:33It's deflected.
05:37Back with Macarena Estacio.
05:39Under some pressure here.
05:41Goes down.
05:42Once the free kick.
05:43Doesn't look like.
05:44He's going to get it though.
05:47That'll be a Santos throw in.
05:49Near the touch line.
05:59Rafael Gonzaga the substitute.
06:01Taking his time over this.
06:05Launches it into the area.
06:06Looking for Tassiano.
06:07That bounce.
06:08Go anywhere there.
06:10Roles are turning it back.
06:11Towards goal.
06:12And it goes out.
06:13Harmlessly.
06:14For a goal kick.
06:15Rollins with a throw.
06:17Heathers there.
06:18Transfer Campana now.
06:20If he can set himself.
06:22Miranda just snaps at the shot.
06:23A little bit.
06:24But it is deflected.
06:25It's going to be a corner kick.
06:26To Macarena.
06:28Is that potentially the first time in the game.
06:30That Macarena have put a high ball into the box.
06:32And they've actually managed to win a header.
06:33And you see the difference that it makes there.
06:35It's a lovely little header from.
06:38Franco Posse.
06:39Just really opens things up.
06:40It's a half chance.
06:42For Macarena.
06:43Joel Smic.
06:44Knocking that forward again.
06:47Opening now perhaps for Franco Posse.
06:49Trying to get in behind Juan Perez.
06:50It's a foot race between the two of them.
06:52Posse goes for goal.
06:55Marazon holds it well.
06:56Still a little bit too close to the keeper.
06:58Marazon did well.
07:05Again that's the first time you see the ball played ahead of Franco Posse.
07:09Usually he's receiving it as a kind of hold up player.
07:12Target man.
07:13Style forward.
07:16There was a bit of space to attack behind the centre's defence.
07:20Borlazer with the cross.
07:21Takes it left footed.
07:23Haro at the back.
07:24Post.
07:25Just can't turn that header goalwards.
07:29Wide of the mark.
07:30Take.
07:36Haro.
07:37Goes well.
07:39The position that he's in there.
07:43Really difficult to turn that towards goal and get that on target.
07:46Miguelito trying to hold off his man.
07:50Linger now running into space.
07:51He's got Franco Posse ahead of him.
07:54Looking up.
07:55Trying to decide where to go.
07:57Darts inside.
07:59Tries to shot himself but that's well over the bar.
08:02Had no control over that once.
08:04Look at Ferro there with his collar turned up.
08:08Miranda.
08:09Only go for a shot here.
08:10He will.
08:12Not far over the bar.
08:16And Gabriel Borlazer seemed to have that covered.
08:20Good attempt.
08:21A good hit.
08:25Just maybe a foot and a half over the bar in the end.
08:29A little bit more than that.
08:31Gabriel Borlazer instantly instructing.
08:35With a laser.
08:36That he had to go and press the man there.
08:38And he's right.
08:44The change we mentioned has been made.
08:46It's Caballero that's gone off.
08:49Pedro Assis on.
08:51Opportunity now for Horne.
08:52He might fall for Pedro Assis with his first touch.
08:54Touches inside.
08:55Can he finish?
08:56No, he cannot.
08:59Huge opportunity for the 19-year-old.
09:02Just off the bench.
09:03His first touch of the match.
09:04And he misses a setter.
09:07That could have tied it up for Santos.
09:09They will hope that they won't rue that miss.
09:13There's still a few minutes left here for Makara.
09:17To find the winner.
09:20Look at this opportunity.
09:21Just goes right through the fence.
09:23Horne that.
09:24Irrepressible work rate.
09:27And what can you say?
09:29It's Cazares.
09:30One last chance it looks like for Makara.
09:33Cazares.
09:34Mohor.
09:38Back to Cazares.
09:42Another cross into the area.
09:44This might fall for Ferro.
09:46Across the Klinger.
09:48Can he find some space?
09:50Goes one way on the other.
09:52His shot is blocked.
09:53Corner kick to Makara.
09:57One of the most dangerous moments, I think, for Makara in this game.
10:00Will that be that?
10:02The full time whistle goes.
10:06Santos.
10:07Survive.
10:08And make it through to the quarterfinals.
10:13A heroic performance from the Santos defence.
10:16They're absolutely exhausted.
10:19It finishes here.
10:21Makara nil.
10:22Santos nil.
10:24And Santos win on aggregate.
10:262-1.
10:29Aye T Το Office.
10:31And have a nice life challenge here.
10:34Wom Anthem.
10:34Like it's at 7.
10:35In the moment.
10:35But keep misty.
10:35Nice feet away.
10:35Have a nice one to see.
10:35Well night.
10:36That's a wrap.
