00:00All right, you can drill.
00:03So, much the same as we've done in previous runs.
00:05How far down in the ground will this one allow us to see?
00:08At least 100 feet, if not more.
00:10Oh, that's great.
00:11Yeah.
00:11Caleb and I are starting our first run with the GPR.
00:14I would like to start off with doing a ceremony.
00:17This is just crazy.
00:19The tree's hotter than the house.
00:20Yeah.
00:21Doesn't make any sense.
00:22None of this makes any sense.
00:24Just watch what happens right there.
00:26So you see that feature right here?
00:28Yeah.
00:29I'm not sure what this is.
00:31What in the world is that?
00:33That's got to be hundreds of feet in the air.
00:35Wow.
00:39There is a ranch in northern Utah.
00:42It is considered the epicenter of the strangest
00:46and most disturbing occurrences on Earth.
00:50For two decades, the federal government investigated the property.
00:55Their findings have never been made public.
00:58Right there.
01:00We got something.
01:00Now, a new team of independent scientists and researchers are taking over.
01:06They are uncovering evidence that the countless stories.
01:10It came right out of the mesa.
01:12of unidentified aerial phenomenon.
01:15UAP, right there.
01:16Bizarre energies.
01:18It looks like there's a heat source right above them.
01:20And portals that lead to other dimensions.
01:23We're maybe looking at the anomaly for the first time, guys.
01:26Might actually be true.
01:27They will stop at nothing to reveal the secret of Skinwalker Ranch.
01:41Hey, Jan.
01:42Thanks for jumping on with us.
01:44Hey, guys.
01:45How are you?
01:46We're in suspense here.
01:47I can't wait to find out what you got out of those scans that you did in the mesa.
01:52For the past several days, Jan's been crunching data from two new ground-penetrating radar scans.
01:58We ran one inside the mesa through borehole one and then did a second scan along the surface of the
02:05mesa.
02:07The hope is to get better images of the large object and smaller anomalies that we think are buried inside
02:13there.
02:15Well, we got interesting data.
02:18And as always, just as a head scratcher.
02:23Wow, you got us on the edge of our seats.
02:25So here's the first one from inside borehole one.
02:30And look, if this was anywhere else other than Skinwalker Ranch, you know, Sandstone Mesa in Utah, we'd see basically
02:37nothing.
02:38It would be a gray screen.
02:39If there was a specific anomaly, well, we'd see some specific returns from it.
02:44But this data, this is so overwhelmed with interference that I can't make anything out of it.
02:50Jan, dude, that data is a mess.
02:53Yep, yep.
02:54So the data set is overwhelmed with interference that is confusing the signal.
03:02Are you kidding me?
03:03As we go down, there is this central zone that seems to be, well, I mean, somewhere from about, say,
03:11150 to 200 feet in.
03:14We have a higher amplitude interference that is occurring inside the mesa.
03:19And it just completely prevents me from getting anything useful from this data.
03:24Well, that doesn't make any sense.
03:26Well, let me show you the data from the surface scan that we did.
03:30Okay.
03:31This is the hard work that you and Caleb did going down the face of the mesa.
03:37Yep.
03:38And this is your path.
03:42We had some nice, straight runs here.
03:46And when we go and look at the data, it's the same issue.
03:50It's just interference.
03:52Again, we're not getting energy into the ground.
03:54Something's just blocking us.
03:56Are there any natural sources of interference that could account for this?
04:01Absolutely nothing natural that I know of.
04:05You know, the only way that I've seen this sort of interference on surface radar, around airports or military installations.
04:15And it's crazy.
04:17Oh, wow.
04:17Yes.
04:18Yes.
04:19It's crazy that Jan mentioned the interference possibly being connected to a military installation.
04:24There's been rumors for years that there's some kind of secret base buried underneath the ranch.
04:30And last year, when we were looking at aerial photos of the mesa, we found evidence that some of the
04:36pictures from the 1960s were actually doctored right at the drill site.
04:41I don't know if that interference could suggest those rumors are true, but it sure makes you wonder.
04:46Well, do you think whatever's buried in there did this?
04:50I know that's a good question.
04:51It would have to be pretty powerful.
04:54All we can say for sure from this data is the sandstone isn't sending a signal that would create this
05:00interference.
05:01As frustrating as this is, it's also really freaking intriguing.
05:06Just what the heck is in there?
05:08So Jan, what next steps can we take?
05:11Is there something we can do to get good data?
05:13So guys, I want to come out and try these scans again.
05:16But this time, I've got to figure out a way to block whatever is causing this interference.
05:21So to do that, I've come up with something called a coded sequence radar.
05:27And this is what I made you.
05:29They're used in military settings, usually to overcome interference.
05:34And when we use a GPR device like this, it sends out an encrypted signal that only we can decode.
05:41And that should eliminate this interference and finally give us some clear data.
05:46Wow.
05:47So I'd like to try that out in the borehole.
05:50That's impressive.
05:51I think that if anything is going to get through, it needs to be a coded radar.
05:56Yep.
05:57Yep.
05:57Wow.
05:59Yep.
05:59Well, this is fantastic.
06:01Sounds great.
06:02Well, look, we know you've got a lot of work to do.
06:05And we appreciate the time you've set aside to walk us through the data.
06:09Yeah, I'll be back out in a couple of weeks.
06:11Sounds great, Jan.
06:12Can't wait to get you back out.
06:14I'm excited.
06:16All right.
06:16Take care, guys.
06:27After meeting with Jan, we made a beeline for the Mesa to check in with the guys from AAA Drilling.
06:33This is the day, I think.
06:35We hope.
06:35I like that optimism.
06:36So at this point, you guys have drilled down to 28 feet.
06:40Yeah.
06:40And then really, you've only got five feet left until you hopefully run into that hard object we hit last
06:46year.
06:46Right.
06:47When you look at the four-foot diameter hole these guys have been drilling for almost two weeks now,
06:52it gets you pumped for what we're going to find 33 feet deep.
06:57That's right where our horizontal drill was destroyed last year by something harder than granite.
07:03And it's also where we discovered the ceramics that appear to be machine-made
07:08and also seem to have heat-resistant properties similar to the shield tiles used on modern spacecraft.
07:14Do you think that'll take all day?
07:16Yeah.
07:17Let's get to work.
07:18Got a lot to do.
07:19Let's go.
07:23Hey, Pete.
07:25Just in time.
07:31So we'll just start on your word.
07:33We're good to go over here, so I'll tell them to go ahead and crank it up.
07:38Thanks for that.
07:42This borehole is just five feet shy of hitting whatever object might be giving up the signal
07:47that messed with Jan's GPR data.
07:50So we're all excited to see what today's drilling turns up.
07:54Meanwhile, archaeologist Chris Roberts will be carefully searching the spoils
07:58for any signs of the hard object or more of those strange ceramics.
08:08There's some different sound rock.
08:10Oh.
08:11Now he's on something.
08:14Almost 33 foot.
08:1633?
08:1632 and a half right now.
08:1832 and a half foot.
08:20It sounded different.
08:23How hard does this feel?
08:25Do you have a sense on what you're grinding on?
08:27I don't know.
08:29I mean, that could be it.
08:31It could be.
08:33Any abnormal sound from the drill makes us jump,
08:36and we're wondering, are we finally hitting that hard object?
08:39Let's do put the auger on.
08:41Let's see if we can pull something up,
08:43because even if you chip the top,
08:45when you bring the auger up, if we can look at the bottom.
08:47Yeah.
08:48There might be pieces of whatever it is.
08:50So far, we've been using a core drilling bit
08:53to get the best samples out of this borehole.
08:56But because Brandon wants us to be real careful
08:59not to destroy whatever the object is,
09:02right now we need to be cautious.
09:04Using an auger bit lets us drill a much smaller sample.
09:07Hopefully, what it brings up is interesting.
09:11There we go.
09:12Bo, everybody's ready to go?
09:14Yeah.
09:14You're good to turn it up.
09:16All right.
09:21I want to see unnatural material coming out of there.
09:24We have unnatural material on the bottom there.
09:27I'm doing a happy dance.
09:29Yes.
09:29Yeah, absolutely.
09:38Definitely sounds like you're grinding something up.
09:40It's something much harder.
09:41Yeah.
09:43Thomas, how far do you want to dig into it,
09:45is what I'm asking?
09:45Not a lot.
09:46If we can get...
09:46Clean it out.
09:48So go ahead and come out,
09:49and then we'll go in again and do a clean out.
10:08I've got Caleb and Thomas
10:09actually helping me do some screenings
10:11just in case we had something magnetic come out.
10:13We're running the magnet over the deposits
10:15and trying to see if we can find something.
10:18And I'm just excited
10:19that we're actually getting to a depth
10:21where I think we might run into something.
10:23Oh, man.
10:26Anything?
10:30You find something?
10:32Yeah.
10:34Wow.
10:35What is that?
10:39That's metal, right?
10:40Yeah.
10:41They look a lot like the metal we found before.
10:44The flaking metal.
10:47Way back in 2021,
10:49we found metal flakes in our drilling spoils.
10:52Oh, my.
10:53We were working near the center
10:55of the buried object in the Mesa.
10:57And after we found the flakes,
10:59we ran tests that showed
11:00they contained rare elements
11:02that are also being used
11:04in the manufacturing of advanced electronics
11:06and even the aerospace industry.
11:09Thomas, the science tent,
11:11you guys copy?
11:13Yeah, Thomas, go ahead.
11:14I want to know if you guys
11:15could come over the drill.
11:17We've got something to show you.
11:18Absolutely.
11:19We'll step right over.
11:21Finding metal fragments in the spoils
11:24further validates
11:25that there's artificial artifacts
11:28deep down inside the Mesa.
11:31I'm hoping as we sift through the spoils,
11:33we can find some more
11:34of that ceramic-like material.
11:36But at this point,
11:38each time that we learn something more
11:40about what's down in that hole,
11:42we're going to get closer
11:43to finally finding the answer
11:44of what lies beneath our feet.
11:47Check out what we found.
11:48Oh.
11:48Look at that.
11:49Where'd that come from?
11:51All in that pile.
11:52All right.
11:52That's what I was expecting to see.
11:54That's a lot of metal.
11:55And look at the two different sides.
11:56Looks like iron filings.
11:57Look at that, how they're standing up.
11:59That is clear metal shavings, man.
12:01Yeah.
12:01You just ground something
12:02off of a piece of steel or something.
12:04These are planar fragments
12:06of magnetic material.
12:07Probably shaved off
12:08with this thing right here
12:10of whatever it's hidden.
12:11Yeah.
12:11Yeah, this is not
12:12your typical magnetic dust
12:13that you'd pull out of the sand.
12:14No.
12:15It's not just mud.
12:16Well, this is cool.
12:18Can't wait to see
12:19what else we find.
12:20Yeah.
12:21And I need to get back
12:22to the science tent.
12:23Yeah.
12:23Let us know
12:24if you find anything else.
12:25All right.
12:26Okay.
12:26All right.
12:27This is cool.
12:28Yeah, so we're hitting metal now.
12:31We still haven't hit
12:32the ceramic-like material.
12:33That'll be interesting
12:34if any pieces of that come out.
12:36But this is a huge indication
12:38we are in the right spot.
12:40Well, let's drill a little deeper
12:42and see what comes up.
12:43Yeah.
12:45Since we're only finding
12:46little bits of this metal,
12:48we're switching back
12:49to the bigger core barrel.
12:50That will allow us
12:51to pull up larger amounts
12:52of spoils,
12:53which hopefully contain
12:55more samples
12:56of whatever's down there.
12:57We'll just have
12:58to go slow
12:59to make sure
12:59we don't damage
13:00whatever the object is.
13:03All right.
13:04We're going to spin
13:05that drill up.
13:06Copy that.
13:21Listen to that.
13:23I think that drill's
13:24on something big.
13:25It sounds like it's skipping.
13:28Something like fanning
13:29across the teeth.
13:31That sounds different.
13:32I can hear it.
13:32Yeah.
13:33Hey, Jet.
13:34This feels different down there.
13:36Oh, yeah?
13:37Yeah, it feels shaky.
13:38It's going right at 33 foot.
13:39It's more like grabby.
13:41Yeah, I can hear it.
13:42Hey, Thomas.
13:43Hey, Tom.
13:43You hear that difference
13:44in the drill?
13:45Yeah, you can...
13:46He just hit 33,
13:47maybe 33 foot 1 inch.
13:49Listen to this.
13:54There's something different
13:54than we haven't seen before.
13:57Look at that.
13:59Oh, no.
13:59Holy smokes.
14:00Look at that.
14:01I'm shaking the drill.
14:02It feels like you're hitting metal.
14:06As we hit this art object,
14:07I have Brandon's voice
14:08in the back of my mind
14:09telling me,
14:10I don't want to damage
14:11what it is
14:12that we're trying to observe.
14:14I don't like the way
14:16that's sounding.
14:17I mean, it sounds like
14:18metal under stress.
14:20I think we're going to have
14:21to stop this down.
14:23You know, we've been engaging
14:24with this anomaly
14:25for so long,
14:25I think it's reasonable
14:26that we are all in suspense.
14:29But it's absolutely essential
14:31to continue to take
14:32a very careful approach
14:33to intersecting
14:35with that anomaly
14:36in the mesa.
14:38Hey, Thomas, you copy?
14:40Go for Thomas.
14:42I really don't want
14:43to tear this up.
14:44I'm thinking we might
14:45want to pull out,
14:46sample what we can.
14:47We need to stop.
14:48We need to reassess.
14:50Copy that.
14:52Bo, they're wanting us
14:54to pull out.
14:55Okay, sounds good.
14:57I think Eric was right
14:58to stop the drillers.
15:00Oh, there's the core.
15:01We didn't lose it.
15:02The last thing we want to do
15:04is damage it
15:05before we're able
15:06to study it.
15:07Oh, that's awesome.
15:09Hey, Eric, Travis,
15:10you copy?
15:12Yeah, Caleb, go ahead.
15:14We got that core out
15:16if you guys want
15:16to come over
15:17and take a look.
15:18Oh, absolutely.
15:19Yeah, we're on our way.
15:21This core sample
15:22came right from
15:23that 33-foot spot
15:25we've been trying
15:26to get to
15:26since our drill
15:27got stopped here
15:28last year.
15:29So we were all
15:30on pins and needles
15:31to see
15:31what was in there.
15:35Sounds like concrete.
15:37That's sandstone.
15:39It is
15:40about as dense
15:41as concrete.
15:43Thomas,
15:43you want to give it a test?
15:45That's a magnet.
15:47Anything?
15:49Nothing.
15:50Okay.
15:51I don't think
15:52that
15:52is responsible
15:54for what we saw before.
15:55No,
15:56it ain't adding up.
15:57This is not our target.
15:58Yes.
15:59That's the point.
16:00Yeah, I agree.
16:02I agree.
16:02We saw a little metal
16:04come out of the borehole,
16:05but the question
16:06on all our minds was,
16:08where was the rest
16:09of this hard object
16:10that destroyed
16:11our drill last year
16:12at around 33 feet?
16:14Or,
16:15why not more
16:16of those strange ceramics?
16:17What's our depth now?
16:19They're down to 38 feet.
16:21So we passed it?
16:22What do we do now?
16:24Well, we gotta think
16:25about that strategically.
16:26That would definitely
16:27involve
16:28a discussion
16:28with Brandon.
16:29Yeah.
16:31I can't wait
16:31to see what he says.
16:37Hey, Brandon.
16:38Hey.
16:39Greetings, gentlemen.
16:40I am eager to hear
16:42what the current status is.
16:44We ended up
16:45going down
16:45to 38 feet,
16:47and we did hit
16:48something really hard
16:49at 33 feet.
16:50We found
16:51a few metal pieces
16:52in the spoils,
16:53but absolutely nothing
16:54that would explain
16:55the hard object
16:56we hit last year.
16:57Wow.
16:58That's crazy.
16:59It sounds like
17:00we may have missed
17:01the mark.
17:02So,
17:03spoils-wise,
17:05the potentially
17:06interesting material
17:08we had
17:08were some
17:09very tiny
17:10magnetic pieces.
17:12What would you
17:14advice
17:14at this juncture,
17:16given kind of
17:18the continued mystery?
17:19If you recall,
17:20Brandon,
17:21we drilled borehole
17:22one and borehole
17:23two to be on
17:24either side
17:25of this big
17:26GPR anomaly.
17:28So,
17:28we're thinking
17:29going right between
17:30the two boreholes
17:31on the mesa
17:33up there.
17:33We might hit
17:34whatever this is
17:35in the dead center.
17:36Okay.
17:38So far,
17:40we've been drilling
17:40on the edge
17:41of this anomaly,
17:42but we know
17:43from our past GPR
17:44that this thing
17:45is positioned
17:46right between
17:47borehole one
17:48and borehole two.
17:50So,
17:51the plan now
17:51is to drill
17:52right down the center
17:53between the two boreholes,
17:55and hopefully,
17:56we'll have our best chance
17:58yet to reveal
17:58what this thing is.
18:01Well,
18:01to the degree
18:03possible,
18:04I'd like to proceed
18:05forward,
18:05but make sure
18:07that we do so
18:08with great care.
18:10Sounds good to me.
18:12The drillers will need
18:13some time to prepare.
18:14It'll be a couple of days
18:15before we get back
18:16to drilling.
18:17Very good.
18:18Thank you for your efforts.
18:20See you later, Brandon.
18:20See ya.
18:22All right, guys.
18:23Thanks.
18:24We've got a lot
18:24of planning to do.
18:30Preston?
18:31Welcome back
18:32to the ranch.
18:33Always willing to come back.
18:34We have fun out here.
18:35Yep.
18:36We're going to do
18:36some things differently
18:37this time.
18:38While the drillers
18:39get ready to break ground
18:40on a new borehole,
18:41we decided to switch
18:43our attention
18:43back to the bubble.
18:45We suspect the bubble
18:46and the mesa
18:47are connected,
18:48but we still don't know
18:49how or why.
18:51We want to learn
18:51more about the triangle,
18:53which is the center
18:54of the bubble,
18:54and a region
18:55where a lot of our
18:56instruments tend to fail
18:57when they're trying
18:58to record data.
18:59Just like our GPR issues
19:02inside the mesa.
19:03So we invited
19:04Preston Ward
19:05and his team
19:06from Sky Elements
19:06back for a new experiment.
19:09Okay, picking off.
19:10A few weeks ago,
19:12we flew drone swarms
19:14back and forth
19:14through the bubble's
19:15western boundary.
19:16That helped us figure out
19:18that its width
19:19is about 120 feet.
19:21So tonight,
19:22we're hoping
19:23they can help us
19:24learn more
19:24about the dead center
19:25of the bubble.
19:26Come on.
19:28Last year,
19:29we launched
19:30a rocket
19:30straight up
19:31above the triangle
19:32that released
19:32a huge cloud
19:33of powder
19:33at about
19:341,000 feet high.
19:35Oh, there's the powder.
19:36Yep.
19:37As it descended,
19:38the cloud froze
19:39around 800 feet
19:40for a few seconds,
19:41almost like
19:42there was
19:43an invisible structure.
19:44Y'all got some
19:45weird mojo out here.
19:46So,
19:47one of the things
19:48we'll be concentrating
19:49on tonight
19:50will be to confirm
19:51if there's something there
19:53and hopefully
19:54map out
19:54the size of it.
19:56Preston,
19:57talk to us
19:58about the different
19:58configurations
19:59we plan to fly tonight.
20:00So we have
20:01100 drones,
20:02is that right?
20:02So it's gonna be
20:03100 drones
20:04and it's gonna stay
20:04in a horizontal plane
20:06and it's gonna work
20:07its way
20:08zigzagging up
20:09all the way
20:10to 1,000 feet.
20:11So that way
20:12we can get
20:12good data
20:13all the way through
20:14as it goes up and down.
20:15Okay.
20:17Guys,
20:18we've engaged
20:18with this space
20:19in so many different ways.
20:20This is exactly
20:21the experiment
20:21that I was hoping
20:22we'd be able to do.
20:23We'll get unloaded
20:24and start getting set up.
20:25All right.
20:25Let's do it.
20:26Thanks, guys.
20:26All right.
20:29As is often the case
20:31for tonight's experiment,
20:32I'll be monitoring
20:34the ranch surveillance cameras
20:35from the command center.
20:37We'll also be using
20:38all of our
20:39standard instrumentation,
20:41LIDAR,
20:41and spectrum analyzers.
20:44And also using
20:45the Metaframe
20:46video processing tool
20:47to observe
20:48any curious deviations
20:50in the behavior
20:51of these drones.
20:53How's it going?
20:55I want to do
20:56a test flight
20:57before we do
20:57that first full drone swarm.
20:59We're setting
21:00our four corners here.
21:02Before Preston
21:03and his team
21:03launch all 100 drones,
21:05they want to do
21:06a smaller test flight
21:07of the four drones
21:08that will fly
21:09at the corners
21:09of the full swarm.
21:11This is expensive equipment,
21:13so they want to make sure
21:14these drones behave
21:15like normal
21:16once they're in the air.
21:17I mean,
21:18this is Skinwalker Ranch
21:19after all,
21:20and we've seen drones
21:21fall out of the sky here.
21:23I'll run to the triangle
21:24right now.
21:25During this test,
21:26Caleb and I
21:27were going to be watching
21:28from the ground
21:29at the triangle.
21:29That way,
21:30we could be sure
21:31whether the drones
21:32were flying directly overhead
21:33or if they were
21:34moving off course.
21:36So you ready
21:37to do a test flight
21:38all the way up
21:38to 1,000 feet?
21:40No,
21:40we're just doing
21:40the lower heights
21:41at 60 feet
21:42so we can verify
21:43the positioning
21:44to make sure
21:44that we're right
21:45over the center
21:45of the triangle.
21:46And if we're not,
21:47then we're going to adjust
21:48again before we run
21:49the big one.
21:50Perfect.
21:50Launch the four corners test.
21:53Ten seconds to launch.
21:54Five,
21:55four,
21:56three,
21:57two,
21:58one.
21:59Drones are rolling.
22:09Staying in formation
22:10pretty good.
22:11Yeah.
22:18They definitely seem
22:20too far this way.
22:21Yeah,
22:21they're way west.
22:24They missed the triangle
22:25by 40 feet west.
22:28Is that a GPS error?
22:30Is that a software error?
22:32Yeah,
22:32it seems to be a GPS anomaly,
22:34if you will,
22:34in accuracy.
22:35That's,
22:36yeah,
22:36that is interesting.
22:38They're going to hit Mason.
22:39They're going to hit the Mesa.
22:41They're going to hit the Mesa.
22:42Bring them home.
22:42They're going to hit the Mesa.
22:44These drones
22:45were on a pre-programmed flight,
22:46which was supposed
22:47to go directly
22:48over the triangle.
22:49So what the heck
22:50could be causing
22:51the drones
22:51to veer so far
22:52off course
22:53and almost fly
22:54directly into the Mesa?
22:57Oh.
23:00Got two of them
23:00coming back.
23:01Two,
23:01three,
23:02one.
23:05Look,
23:06those two are stuck.
23:11There we go.
23:11There we go.
23:12Then I got it.
23:22During the test run,
23:23the placement of the swarm
23:24on the map in flight
23:25showed it to be exactly
23:26where it should be,
23:28right over the triangle.
23:29But we all saw
23:30with our own eyes
23:32because it wasn't
23:33over the triangle.
23:34It really doesn't
23:35make a lot of sense
23:35because once they enter
23:36their pre-programmed
23:37flight path,
23:38they should be rock solid.
23:40I imagine you guys
23:41are going to make
23:42a few adjustments.
23:43Yeah,
23:43so I'm going to rotate
23:44the whole show
23:44a bit to the right here
23:46to kind of line it up
23:47better with the triangle.
23:48We missed kind of far
23:49that way.
23:50So we're going to rotate
23:50the whole thing.
23:52Okay.
23:52Sounds good.
24:01Let's light this candle,
24:02y'all.
24:03Okay.
24:04Sounds like everybody's ready.
24:06It wound up
24:08taking a few hours
24:09for Preston and his team
24:10to make the adjustments.
24:11Now it's time
24:13to launch and go.
24:14During the swarm,
24:16we're going to be watching
24:17from several different
24:18vantage points
24:19to make sure the drones
24:20are exactly where
24:21we think they are.
24:22Thomas will be over
24:23with the Sky Elements team
24:25at their tent
24:26just south of the triangle,
24:27while Caleb watches
24:28directly beneath
24:29where the swarm will be.
24:31Meanwhile,
24:32Jim and I will be keeping
24:33an eye out
24:34just south of the mason.
24:36Let's go ahead
24:37and do the 15-second countdown.
24:39All right,
24:39I'm going to do
24:4030-second offset,
24:41and I'll count a minute 15.
24:43Five,
24:44four,
24:45three,
24:46two,
24:47one.
24:48Drones are rolling.
24:53Drones are up.
24:57One fell to lift.
25:05Okay, let's go.
25:07They're launching.
25:09Woo!
25:12Brian Woodward
25:13of Sky Elements
25:14was following
25:15close behind the swarm
25:17with his first-person
25:18view drone,
25:19or FPV.
25:20That way,
25:21we could get
25:21a close-up view
25:22of any unusual behavior
25:24from these drones
25:24during their program flight.
25:30From our perspective
25:32to the west,
25:33I can't see anything
25:35out of alignment yet.
25:38It actually looks like
25:39one of the drones
25:40did not take off.
25:41Yeah,
25:42one of them
25:42did not take off.
25:44We can see the hole.
25:50Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
25:51That's where they lost it.
25:54Shoot, shoot.
25:56I lost it.
25:57I lost it.
25:58The FPV drone
25:59just hit the ground.
26:01Oh, my God.
26:03Shoot.
26:11FPV drone crashed.
26:13Oh, my God.
26:15Guys, did we have a drone
26:16hit the ground just now?
26:18Yes, the FPV drone
26:20just hit the ground.
26:23First,
26:24one of the 100 drones
26:25failed to launch
26:26with the swarm.
26:27But then,
26:28the FPV drone
26:29fell right out of the sky
26:31for no apparent reason.
26:33Did it crash
26:33into something invisible
26:35right above the triangle?
26:36Or did something
26:37chase it down
26:38and knock it out of the sky?
26:39And in either case,
26:41what the heck could it be?
26:42It made us nervous
26:44about what might happen
26:45to the rest of our drone swarm
26:46as it flew up
26:48to 1,000 feet.
26:49Drones swarm
26:50came over the center
26:52of the triangle.
26:54The drones look like
26:56they're spinning in circles.
26:59Yeah, look.
27:00There they go.
27:01Yeah, they look wonky.
27:03Thomas,
27:04what elevation
27:05are the drones at?
27:07They're 50 feet
27:08from hitting
27:08that 1,000-foot mark,
27:10but the drones
27:10are now spinning in place.
27:12Something's definitely wrong.
27:15The drones
27:16started moving
27:16in circles
27:17as soon as they passed
27:19into that 800-to-1,000-foot zone.
27:21That's right
27:22where we saw
27:22that cloud of powder
27:23get stuck last year.
27:25So could the same thing
27:27be affecting
27:27our drone swarm?
27:28And if so,
27:29what was it?
27:31They're coming down.
27:32Drones are descending.
27:35The formation
27:36is south
27:37of the triangle now.
27:40They're descending
27:41for landing.
27:42We're at 600 feet
27:43right now.
27:44600 feet
27:45and descending.
27:47Yeah,
27:48they seem to stabilize.
27:50As soon as the swarm
27:51descended
27:52to a lower altitude,
27:53the drones
27:54started flying
27:54like normal again.
27:56It's like
27:56whatever was affecting them
27:58was concentrated
27:59right in that
28:00800-to-1,000-foot zone.
28:03Eight seconds.
28:07Land mode engaged.
28:1199 back down.
28:12Drones are on the ground.
28:14Okay, Thomas,
28:15let's go over here
28:16and check these.
28:17Yeah.
28:19So they should be
28:20right back on the mats,
28:22right?
28:22They should be
28:23directly centered
28:23on the mats.
28:24Oh, look at this.
28:26That one's almost
28:27completely off.
28:28It looks like
28:29they all shifted
28:30the same way.
28:31And if you look
28:31at that one,
28:32they were all pointed
28:33this direction,
28:34so that one's almost
28:35pointed 90 degrees
28:36in the wrong way.
28:38So typically,
28:39when they twist like that,
28:40it indicates
28:41a magnetic anomaly.
28:45after the drones
28:45were on the ground,
28:46we went and inspected
28:47how they landed,
28:48both terms of
28:49their position
28:50as well as
28:51what their heading was.
28:51That would tell us
28:52where they thought
28:53they were facing.
28:54And it looks like
28:55there was both
28:57GPS differences,
28:58so they were about
28:59a foot off
29:00on certain areas,
29:00and then there were
29:01also heading differences,
29:03so they turned
29:03to the position
29:04they thought was north,
29:05but they were
29:06severely off.
29:08Boy, that's interesting.
29:09And the only time
29:10we really see
29:10a twist in the drone
29:12heading like this
29:12is like if we're
29:13on a parking garage,
29:14a structure that has
29:14a lot of steel,
29:15something that has
29:16a lot of metal
29:17that causes magnetic
29:18interference to the
29:19magnetometers.
29:20We don't expect
29:21to see that same
29:22behavior here
29:23in a grass field.
29:24Grass fields usually
29:25have zero issues,
29:26but this is
29:27Skinwalker Ranch,
29:28and it seems that
29:29the unexpected
29:30always happens.
29:31Hey, guys.
29:32We're over here
29:33looking at the drones
29:34and how closely
29:35they came down
29:36on these mats.
29:37We've got some
29:38pretty misaligned drones
29:40indicating a lot
29:41of magnetic interference.
29:42Guys are saying
29:43the only time
29:44they really see this
29:45is like when
29:45they're on a parking
29:46garage.
29:47It's got a lot
29:47of steel in it.
29:50Well, that solves it.
29:51We now know
29:52there's a parking garage
29:53there at the triangle.
29:56Mystery solved.
29:58I mean, sometimes
29:59you have to laugh
30:00because things
30:01just don't make
30:02any sense.
30:02What in the world
30:04could act like
30:04a giant magnetic field
30:06between 800
30:07and 1,000 feet
30:08in the air?
30:08Is it something
30:09generated inside
30:10the bubble?
30:11And could it be
30:12related to all
30:13the UAPs,
30:14weird signals,
30:15and equipment
30:16malfunctions
30:16we keep encountering,
30:18including what
30:19happened during
30:20Jan's most recent
30:21GPR test?
30:22We are ready
30:23over on our end.
30:24We're going to do
30:25an arm check.
30:25Let me know
30:26when you guys
30:26are ready.
30:28Preston and the team
30:29reset their program
30:30to launch another swarm
30:31to help us get
30:32more data up there.
30:34You guys ready?
30:36We're ready.
30:36We're ready.
30:37Okay.
30:38It's on your go,
30:39Preston.
30:40Setting start time.
30:42Authorizing show.
30:43Five, four, three,
30:46two, one.
30:49Drums are rolling.
30:52Under it.
30:54Under it up.
30:58Okay, taking off.
31:10Oh, shoot.
31:11Shoot, shoot, shoot,
31:11shoot, shoot, shoot.
31:11It's going down.
31:13FPV down.
31:16Dude.
31:18Totally lost visual again.
31:20That's crazy.
31:23FPV down again.
31:24What?
31:24Oh, wow.
31:27As I circled around
31:28the swarm,
31:28I started to lose
31:29video feed,
31:30and it started to glitch.
31:32I was expecting
31:33it to come back,
31:34but then it crashed.
31:35I have no idea
31:36why my drone did that.
31:38It's nuts, bro.
31:39My drone has
31:40connection for miles.
31:42The only way
31:43that I would really
31:43lose connection like that
31:44is if I went
31:45behind a mountain.
31:48It's unexplainable.
31:50Okay, let's get
31:51this baby up.
31:53This was the second
31:53time the FPV drone
31:55crashed tonight,
31:56and just moments
31:57after it took off.
31:58What was knocking it
31:59out so close
32:00to the ground?
32:01Taking off.
32:07100 drones up.
32:08100 drones up.
32:09Cameron, you have
32:10the con?
32:10Yep, yep.
32:13Looks like all
32:14the drones took off
32:15this time.
32:15We've got a good
32:16formation coming
32:17into the triangle.
32:20They are directly
32:21over the triangle,
32:23the Western Tower.
32:26They are at
32:27600 feet climbing.
32:29Starting to see
32:30wiggle on that
32:31third one
32:32on the outside ring.
32:34Cameron, what's
32:35the altitude?
32:36They're sitting
32:37at 900 feet.
32:39900 feet climbing.
32:42Looks like the swarm
32:43is getting movement
32:44all throughout
32:45the formation.
32:46We're getting drones
32:48doing circular
32:49patterns all throughout.
32:50Oh, yeah.
32:51Look at that.
32:53Wow.
32:59We're getting drones
33:00doing circular patterns
33:02all throughout.
33:03Wow.
33:05As our second drone
33:06swarm got to the
33:07800-foot level
33:08above the triangle,
33:09we were seeing
33:10even more evidence
33:11of that magnetic
33:12interference causing
33:13them to spin like crazy.
33:15So now we had
33:17nearly 200 drones
33:18all confirming
33:19that something
33:20really strange
33:21is in that airspace.
33:23We're at 1,000 feet.
33:27It's very strange
33:28to have both
33:29magnetic interference
33:30and GPS anomalies
33:32in a grass field.
33:34If we were in
33:35some city environment
33:36that has a lot of things
33:37that could be
33:37interfering with us,
33:38you might see
33:39some of these differences,
33:40but typically,
33:41you're not going to get
33:42that in an open field.
33:45Drones are
33:46starting their descent.
33:49There's a little bit
33:50of sway to them.
33:52It does look like
33:53there's a little bit
33:54of a wave going through it.
33:55At that point,
33:57Sky Elements
33:58just wanted to get
33:58their equipment
33:59to land safely.
34:07Eric, we're on the ground
34:09here.
34:10Everything's done.
34:11Want to meet out here
34:12and let's discuss
34:12what happened?
34:13OK.
34:13I'll head over.
34:15It strikes me
34:16that every time
34:17we engage in
34:18some of these
34:18large-scale drone
34:19swarm activities
34:20with Sky Elements,
34:21we are seeing
34:22disruptions
34:23and we don't have
34:24an assignable cause.
34:26The further we get
34:27down here,
34:28the more off-base
34:29they seem to be.
34:31I'm looking forward
34:32to bringing all
34:32of the data together
34:33so that we can
34:34better understand
34:35what's happening
34:35in that space
34:36above the triangle.
34:37Hey.
34:39So I'm hearing a lot
34:40about magnetic effects.
34:43It seemed to be a lot
34:44more magnetic interference
34:45this time than normal.
34:46Well, I will tell you
34:47something that did happen
34:48repeatedly.
34:50Every single time
34:51the drones flew
34:52through that 800-to-1000-foot zone,
34:55they started wiggling
34:57and the formation
34:58was inaccurate.
35:00And I mean,
35:00that happened
35:01every single time.
35:03Wow.
35:04You know, so obviously
35:05a lot of data
35:06to look at.
35:06I think what we do
35:07is we put our heads
35:09together and make
35:10some plans
35:10to follow up.
35:12All right.
35:12Let's do it.
35:13See y'all later.
35:14Good stuff.
35:21Hi, Preston.
35:22Hey, Matt.
35:23Thanks for jumping
35:23on with us.
35:24Thanks for having us, guys.
35:26So I know you've got
35:27a lot of data
35:28that was collected
35:28on each and every one
35:30of the drones
35:30in the swarm.
35:31So what do you got
35:32to show us?
35:33Yeah, absolutely.
35:34So I'll share
35:36my screen out here.
35:39Yeah, so we see
35:40all those positions
35:41with numbers on them
35:42and I think you call
35:42those slots.
35:44That's right.
35:45So that's the slot position
35:46that the drone
35:46will sit in.
35:47First drone we're
35:48going to look at
35:49is drone number seven here.
35:51Got it.
35:52This graph
35:53with the blue line above
35:54represents the altitude
35:55to the swarm
35:56as it runs
35:56through its program.
35:57And right here
35:58is our 1,000-foot peak.
36:01The interesting things
36:02we were seeing here
36:03was in the magnetic spectrum.
36:06Right.
36:07We can't wait
36:08to see all the details
36:09on that.
36:09This orange line
36:10in the top graph
36:11represents the magnetometer
36:13data coming from the drone
36:14and the quadrant below
36:16represents the drone itself.
36:18So when we get
36:19to this point here,
36:21you'll notice
36:22that there's
36:23a huge magnetic field
36:25that caused
36:26the drone
36:27to swirl around
36:28because its heading
36:30wasn't accurate.
36:31Where did you start
36:33running into
36:33these magnetic issues?
36:34At what altitude?
36:36Prevalent around
36:36750 feet above ground level.
36:40Yeah, I got it.
36:41So that magnetic interference
36:43is continuing
36:43for almost 250 feet?
36:46Correct.
36:47Wow.
36:48So this magnetic region
36:50could be even bigger
36:51than we thought?
36:52Wow.
36:53That's crazy.
36:56So that magnetic interference
36:58is continuing
36:59for almost 250 feet?
37:01Correct.
37:02Wow.
37:03According to
37:04the drone's data,
37:06whatever is floating
37:07in the sky
37:07directly above the triangle
37:09seems to be even
37:10bigger vertically
37:11than we thought.
37:12But is it
37:13one large invisible thing
37:15smack dab
37:16in the middle
37:17of the bubble
37:17or multiple things
37:19covering that zone?
37:21And how does it
37:21connect to the Mesa?
37:23Can you show us
37:24how many of the drones
37:25were affected?
37:27Yes.
37:29Now when you take
37:30some 2D slices
37:31on both flights,
37:32kind of gives you
37:33a side profile here
37:34of where we're seeing
37:35hot spots
37:36of this activity.
37:38What would you expect
37:39this exact graph
37:41to look like?
37:42It'd be a straight line.
37:43It wouldn't have
37:43the squiggles, right?
37:44Correct.
37:45Once you get into flight,
37:46then you shouldn't
37:47have magnetic issues.
37:49Yep.
37:50Yeah, that's helpful.
37:51So each one of these lines
37:53is a different drone?
37:54It's all of the drones
37:55from the entire night
37:56overlaid.
37:57Wow.
37:59That's on multiple drones.
38:01This is not just
38:02a one-off event.
38:04That's fantastic.
38:06We were afraid
38:07that the drone swarms
38:08wouldn't get us
38:08any good data.
38:10But man,
38:11they helped confirm
38:12that there is
38:13a huge invisible
38:14electromagnetic thing
38:16between 750 and 1,000 feet
38:18right in the middle
38:20of the bubble.
38:22This is really interesting.
38:23So once again,
38:25we've done a very precise
38:28magnetometry mapping
38:29right in the center
38:30of the bubble.
38:32And we absolutely see
38:34there is something there
38:36in the magnetic field.
38:38There's a structure to it.
38:39There is a structure to it.
38:42That shows that there is
38:43a big magnetic anomaly
38:45floating up there
38:47right over the triangle.
38:50Are you seeing this?
38:51Yes.
38:52We've detected
38:53so many strange
38:54radio signals
38:55inside of the bubble
38:56and seen so many UAPs
38:58flying through this airspace
39:00over the triangle.
39:01What if we've now
39:03identified something
39:04that might be related
39:06to them
39:06or even where
39:07they might be coming from?
39:09We need to study
39:10that region even more.
39:11We only flew to 1,000 feet,
39:14so who knows
39:15how far this thing goes?
39:16Well, I don't know
39:18what the rule
39:19or legal altitude limit is,
39:21but the bubble
39:23is roughly 2,000 feet high
39:26at the center of the triangle.
39:28So, boy, it'd be awesome
39:29if we could get drones
39:30up to where
39:31you're touching
39:31the top of the bubble
39:32at 2,000 feet
39:34to see if these
39:35electromagnetic anomalies
39:36could be detected
39:37up there, too.
39:39Yeah.
39:39I've done a lot of
39:40precedent-setting things
39:42with the FAA,
39:43so I'll talk to my people there
39:45and see how high
39:45and they'll let us go.
39:46That'd be fantastic.
39:48Yeah.
39:48Yeah.
39:49Well, guys,
39:50I appreciate your collaboration
39:51on this, as always,
39:53and I look forward
39:53to the next time
39:54we get a chance
39:55to put our heads together
39:56and get some drones
39:57in the air.
39:58Absolutely.
39:59Can't wait to be back
40:00and see what else
40:00we can find.
40:01Thank you so much.
40:02All right.
40:02See you guys.
40:03See you guys.
40:08See you guys.
40:10A question that has been raised
40:11every time we do
40:12these drone exercises
40:13is why are certain
40:15regions of the sky
40:16affected,
40:17why we experience
40:17more interference
40:18while others are not.
40:20It remains a mystery,
40:22but every time
40:23we do these exercises,
40:24it affords us a chance
40:25to get a picture,
40:26a map, if you will,
40:27of what's happening,
40:28not just in the triangle,
40:30but of the whole bubble.
40:33We just collected hard data
40:36that shows there is
40:37something strange
40:38going on high
40:39above the triangle,
40:40possibly even higher
40:42than we've been able
40:42to confirm so far.
40:44Now, we have to figure out
40:46what it is,
40:47because it might help us
40:48crack the mystery
40:49of the bubble.
40:51One hallmark
40:52of our investigation
40:53is our ability
40:54to push boundaries,
40:56to bring people
40:58and capabilities
40:59to the table
41:00that have never
41:01been tried before.
41:03Seeing equipment
41:04malfunction upon
41:05encountering this region
41:07above the triangle,
41:08this confirmation
41:09that a strange anomaly
41:11not only exists,
41:12but is a key feature
41:14on the property
41:15that is involved
41:16with the strange anomalies
41:18that we are trying
41:19to get the answers to.
41:24Commencing first run.
41:25We'll map across the bubble
41:27and see if drilling
41:28may actually cause
41:29phenomena to appear.
41:31Fire the Tesla guns.
41:34Oh, here it puts it.
41:3533 megahertz.
41:36This is coming from the sky.
41:37There it goes.
41:39Whoa, that one
41:39just changed direction.
41:40Let's see what's going on here.
41:42Immediately it turns.
41:43Something pushed
41:43the tail of the rocket.
41:44No way.
41:45What is that?
41:46I don't know
41:47what to make of it.
41:52I don't know
41:53I don't know
41:53what to make of it.
41:54I don't know
41:54what to make of it.
41:54I don't know
