00:00What's up GQ, this is Drewski,
00:01and today we're gonna get into my tattoo tour.
00:11I got my first tattoo, like maybe 20 or 21.
00:15I'm not proud of the first tattoos, I'll tell you that.
00:17We're not gonna show them.
00:18Come on, man, don't be zooming in on all that stuff, come on.
00:20They trying to zoom in on the wrist.
00:23Anything before the money, we not going to show.
00:27I definitely did get inspiration from one of my friends, OBJ.
00:30He had the knee tattoo with his birth date, the 92,
00:33so I went and got the 94.
00:35The knee is definitely something that I've trademarked, though.
00:38I feel like a lot of people try to go
00:39and get the knee tattoos now.
00:40You see everybody trying to do it.
00:42I ain't gonna name no names.
00:43The knee is actually the worst place to get a tattoo at.
00:46It was like the craziest pain I've ever had.
00:48You feel it in your nerves,
00:49and it's like a funny bone on top of the knee.
00:52They gotta pin your leg down,
00:53because you keep them, you know what I mean?
00:56So this is the 94s for the birthday right here.
00:59For Lifers, that's my production company.
01:01Me and all my close friends that are part of my team,
01:05we all have this tattoo.
01:07Yeah, whole squad, whole team winning,
01:08so we went and got that.
01:09We are a full-blown production company,
01:11so any commercials you see, Drewskiy, any sketches,
01:14any touring, TV shows, movies,
01:17anything you've seen, could have been loved, auditions,
01:19that's all for Lifers Productions.
01:21And movies that we're shooting currently right now,
01:23are beautiful Lifers Productions.
01:24But yeah, the 94 in this was one of the first ones I did on my leg.
01:30We signed a multi-million dollar Nike deal.
01:32I jumped on a limb and just did that.
01:33I ain't gonna lie, that's one of the ones.
01:36That's one of the ones.
01:38I always wanted to sign a Nike deal, so when I did,
01:40I was like, fuck it.
01:41I'm doing it, and I'm just gonna commit.
01:43It meant a lot to me because they came up with this slogan called,
01:46Just Sign It that somewhat pertained to like,
01:49could have been records and how we had people sign deals.
01:51So it made sense to get it at the time.
01:53And yeah, no, I'm proud of that tattoo.
01:55But people always ask me about that one.
01:57They're like, why'd you do it?
01:58There's millions in this shit.
02:01This is the Laugh Now, Cry Later video.
02:03When he asked me to be in Laugh Now, Cry Later video,
02:06that was like a big deal.
02:07And it changed the trajectory of my entire career and everything I've built.
02:11So yeah, that was a big tattoo with the same, what do you call that?
02:15Fucking acrylic?
02:16Cursive, yeah, hell yeah.
02:17Somebody went to school in this motherfucker.
02:19This is like the same type of cursive that they had for the logo of the music video.
02:23So yeah, this one, this is one of them ones, man.
02:26Oh, the Psalms right here.
02:27This is one of my first ones too.
02:29It's like a jail tattoo.
02:30I don't know what I was doing right here.
02:31I don't even think I read Psalms 18, but I do, you know, I do read the Bible.
02:36But this one, I forgot what it say.
02:38One of one, that one I just got.
02:40You know, people love explaining tattoos.
02:42Yeah, so I got one on one.
02:43There's no special reason why I got one on one.
02:45Everybody just be getting shit like that.
02:46Number one, that's, hey, I based my life off of Ricky Bobby.
02:50That's how I live my life.
02:51I'm one of one and I know it.
02:53One that means a lot to me is the one below that, the don't half-ass it.
02:56I'm big on that.
02:57My dad used to always say the same when I was a kid.
02:59He always said, don't half-ass anything in life.
03:01Don't half-ass this, don't half-ass that.
03:03Just don't be a half-ass.
03:05So I tatted that more recently.
03:07Shout out Ganga Tattoos.
03:09He did a majority of these tattoos as well.
03:11Ganga insane students done.
03:13Every major league soccer player, LeBron James, the list goes on and on and on.
03:18You got to go get some Ganga tattoos, man.
03:20These sessions were long sessions, man.
03:22They spent some good time on this.
03:24Everything on these legs mean a lot to me, for sure.
03:26And I'm still going.
03:27I think I'm going to end up going all the way up to the, kind of to the thigh area.
03:31Everybody been asking me, like, why are you trying to go up to the crotch?
03:33I ain't trying to go up to the crotch now.
03:35I just said thighs.
03:36I'm going to go into the thigh area.
03:39The rotund side of it.
03:42Mike Jack, man.
03:42This one, this one meant a lot to me.
03:44Seriously.
03:45This is, ever since I was young, my mom always showed me Michael Jackson.
03:49We watched his music videos.
03:50We danced to him.
03:52Arguably, probably the biggest celebrity we've ever seen in our entire lifetime.
03:56I'm just a fan of chasing greatness.
03:58So, me putting his face on it, it just kind of was like, what I want to pursue and what
04:02I want
04:02to end up eventually becoming.
04:04And he did amazing on this one, too.
04:05Jesus Christ, man.
04:07Mike talking to you right there, don't it?
04:09He's not hitting that.
04:10Yeah.
04:11Start hitting that hip thrust, don't it?
04:13This kind of goes to the Mike one, In Pursuit of Greatness.
04:16So, this one.
04:20That one right there.
04:22In Pursuit of Greatness.
04:23I don't know if y'all...
04:27I see that.
04:29We'll get it later.
04:30Y'all just going to get the back side of it.
04:35You got it?
04:37Tell me when you got it.
04:39Tell me when you got it.
04:39You got it?
04:41You getting it?
04:43You see the back side of it?
04:44You got it?
04:46All right, give me a head nod.
04:47Give me a head nod when you got it.
04:48All right, bud.
04:49So, that one, that goes a long time before they tell me.
04:54Oh, we're going to cut it.
04:54No, no.
04:59It was showing too much.
05:00In Pursuit of Greatness.
05:01I based my whole life on it.
05:02I never wanted to be a number two guy and I never wanted to be like just a guy that's
05:08good at
05:09something.
05:10I always wanted to be great.
05:10Yeah, that's my granddad.
05:14He passed away, man.
05:17What you laughing about, man?
05:19I got some reports on TK.
05:20No, my granddad died.
05:22No, he died, bro.
05:24Why y'all laughing at him?
05:26Come on.
05:27Come on, man.
05:28He passed away.
05:28It was a rough death.
05:31It was rough.
05:33I'm telling you right now, somebody else, I will put my hands on y'all.
05:37I know I'm a superstar now.
05:38I will put my hands on each and every one of y'all hands.
05:42Anybody laughing about my grandfather passing away?
05:45This is a serious subject.
05:52Give me a second.
05:57No, because I didn't know it was going to get like this.
06:02All right, I'm good.
06:07Rest in peace, Papa.
06:16Next question.
06:17Let's get to the next one.
06:21I'm probably trying to be super fucking serious now.
06:24You know, I look sweaty.
06:25This leather jacket is hot as shit.
06:27So yes, could have been records, man.
06:28The biggest music label, comedy label in the entire game.
06:32Nobody has done it bigger than me.
06:34We are the moving focus of this entire generation.
06:39Anything could have been records.
06:40Everything could have been auditions.
06:43Could have been love.
06:44Could have been house.
06:46Give me another one.
06:47Could have went pro.
06:48Daddy.
06:49Could have been daddy.
06:50Yes, we've run everything through this label.
06:53And it has been a culture shifter.
06:55So this tattoo also means a lot to me.
06:59And I know I said it a lot already.
07:00But this one.
07:01Anything I got on the knee, around the knee area, that means a lot to me.
07:05For real.
07:06I'm happy I came up with this as a concept and I'm very proud of it.
07:09Even when we were doing could have been records back in like during COVID and doing like the live stream
07:15version of it, I always knew what my vision was to grow it into this broad, huge perspective.
07:21Something I'm very proud of.
07:22And still to this day, we're still growing.
07:23Multiple things coming up under it.
07:25I don't want to give out too much.
07:26But yeah, just stay in tune.
07:29So this is Gwinnett County.
07:30This is where I grew up.
07:31We got the nof and the red.
07:33So that's kind of like the nickname for where I'm from.
07:35Gwinnett County is definitely one of the biggest reasons for like a lot of my comedy.
07:41This is a place that made Drewski or Drew or whoever, you know, everybody I went to high school with
07:48and everybody that taught me to be funny, my friends, my family, we're all from Gwinnett County.
07:55So yeah, this was one that I had to put on my body just because it's like, yo, this is
07:59the core.
08:00This is me.
08:01When you look at me, that's Drewski, the superstar.
08:03Oh, my God.
08:03People screaming and tripping out.
08:05That's Drewski.
08:06But this is Drew.
08:08Yeah.
08:10D-R-E-W.
08:10So this right here, this is kind of like a Georgia tattoo.
08:13It's like a camel.
08:14I'm big on camel.
08:15I always been like, wait, I ain't even got camel hat on right now.
08:18But it says country boy.
08:19Just being from Georgia, you know, you're just always getting into stuff and doing different things around like hunting or
08:26going fishing or you get you a couple of beers.
08:30You take a Ford truck and go down my lake.
08:33But that's why I put country boy because being from Georgia, you just naturally always are around that type of
08:38stuff.
08:38Yeah.
08:38Another scripture.
08:39Now, this one I know.
08:41This one.
08:41Shout out to Collect and Praise TV show coming out around November.
08:44Me and my caps.
08:46A show based on mega church pastors.
08:48Amen.
08:48Our Father, this is a prayer that I say every single day.
08:51Before I do anything, before I go on stage, before I go on to set, before I go anywhere outside
08:57of my house,
08:58I say this prayer.
08:59So this one I do know.
09:00Now, the Psalms, I just did that.
09:02Just, you know, niggas be trying to get a little biblical.
09:05But this one, it means a lot to me.
09:07And most people know that.
09:08Let's get to the back of this one.
09:10Come on.
09:16So this is Make the World Laugh.
09:19I probably got that one around, what date y'all think?
09:24Noah, what date I got that at?
09:26July 23rd.
09:27Yeah, that was right before Juneteenth.
09:31So that one mean a lot to me, because it's Make the World Laugh.
09:34Ricky Bobby's quote right there, if you ain't first, you're last.
09:37And that one mean a lot to me, because I grew up watching that movie all the time.
09:39That's something I live my entire life by.
09:44I just wanted to show I could still do that in a leather jacket.
09:47Give me a second.
09:49Getting real hot in here.
09:52Shit, this leather jacket got me.
09:54Oh, they got another one?
09:55Yeah, let me get a fan.
09:56I didn't take a fan.
09:57Sorry, y'all.
09:57Usually on productions, they have all this type of stuff set out for me.
10:01I do movies now.
10:02Yeah, we're shooting a movie right now with Emma Stone and Chris Pine.
10:05We're Universal.
10:06It's a big movie.
10:07Yeah.
10:08So usually people hold fans for me when I...
10:10It's okay that y'all don't got it.
10:12I'm just throwing it out there.
10:13It's a new me now.
10:16Yeah, it's the type of stuff I do now.
10:18I'm a superstar.
10:19That's good.
10:22And action.
10:23Let's get back into it.
10:26Oh, we done.
10:27I didn't know we was done.
10:28Okay, we done.
10:29Make sure y'all go watch Collecting Praise on YouTube.
10:31It's coming out soon with me and Mike Epps.
10:33It's a show about gospel pastors.
10:39See y'all soon.
10:39I love y'all.
10:41Woo!
10:41Whoa.
