00:00Her Majesty sat there and said, oh, for goodness sake, just go.
00:03So paint a scene for us back in 2016.
00:06So you were in Balmoral, weren't you?
00:08I was in Balmoral, yes.
00:09And I'd been watching all of their matches all the way through.
00:12And I'd been in touch with one of the directors,
00:16so texting and sending messages to the girls all the way through.
00:20And they were doing so well.
00:21And then, you know, they got into the final.
00:24That evening, of course, it was a completely different time zone.
00:27And so I started off watching the match and then I had to go into dinner.
00:31And I was sitting at dinner thinking, what's going on?
00:34What's going on?
00:35And actually somebody who was helping at the table,
00:38who's an avid hockey fan, kept on coming in and whispering this call to me.
00:43And we were sitting at the end of dinner and I was thinking, I was twitching.
00:46And eventually, Her Majesty sat there and said, oh, for goodness sake, just go.
00:51So I ran through to the library and I was watching it.
00:54And my father-in-law, the late Duke of Edinburgh, came through and he loved good sport.
00:59And he sat down and he was watching it with me.
01:01In fact, actually, I think he was watching my reaction more than he was watching the television
01:04because I was literally living and breathing every moment.
01:08I suddenly realised that it was getting to the point when, you know,
01:11I was leaping up and screaming and everything.
01:14And the drawing room is right next door.
01:17And I suddenly was sort of conscious of this presence.
01:19And Her Majesty had come through and she was standing in the doorway watching.
01:23And it was getting so pressured.
01:25She was watching the penalties.
01:27She couldn't cope with pressure.
01:28She had to take herself away again.
01:30She couldn't cope with it.
01:31And I'm standing there leaping up and down, or sitting, leaping up and down.
01:34So, her daughter-in-law, she was trying to take her away again.
