00:00On the other side, there have obviously been a lot of stories with players possibly moving away because you can
00:05only have obviously so many players in your squad.
00:08When you've gone on a journey with this group of players and you've created this incredibly close bond as a
00:14group,
00:16how brutal, how tough is it to turn around to these players and say, you're not going to get much
00:22game time this year?
00:24I mean, you've kind of nurtured these guys from kids to grown men, haven't you?
00:30It's a great question. It's a really, really tough moment. We need to face that reality, but I think you
00:37need to face it with a real honesty and transparency
00:42because when you are on the other side, that's exactly what you need. You might not like what you've been
00:49told,
00:49but if it's truthful, if it's a reality, if it's honest, then it's going to help you to make better
00:54decisions and have more clarity for the next steps in your career.
00:59You have to do that, and these are always very difficult conversations, but it needs to be done.
01:05It's like when I play, it doesn't feel that he belongs or is important. He wants to have a different
01:12chapter.
01:13I think that communication has to exist, and it has to be both ways, and we all know that at
01:18the end, everything has a start and has an end.
01:22And when it comes to the end, I think our duty, our responsibility is to do it in the best
01:27possible way,
01:28maintaining the respect and the admiration for the play and the relationship, but understanding that at the end, we need
01:34to make football decisions.
01:35Thank you very much.
