00:58Nagsimula po ito noong 2022 and was re-established again noong 2024.

01:11English term po siya ng, ay, Tagalog term po siya ng kite.
01:15So, our advocacy revolves around freedom, inclusivity, and equality towards our university.

01:32I would like to take the opportunity po for Babay Lalas for sending me here.
01:37Nagkaroon po sila ng last gathering last month.
01:40Ito po yung SARI Network together with different pride organizations all around the Philippines po.
01:46So, I can compare po yung mga nararanasan po ng different colleges and universities
01:51towards diversity and inclusivity towards their campus.
01:53Sa Batangas State University, Pablo Borbon Campus po, we're still fighting for inclusivity and diversity
02:00since madami pa po kami kailangang isabi sa administration po namin.
02:07And we're still fighting for diversity all around our university.
02:10Hashtag, make Bat State U inclusive.
02:12Ayan. So, kumbaga malayo na pero malayo pa.
02:15Yes.
02:16Pero at least, nagkakaroon ng collaboration.
02:18So, alam natin na para sa maraming mga kabataan,
02:22ang unang laban ay madalas na nagsimula sa sariling tahanan naman.
02:25So, gano'n ba kaalaga para sa atin yung family acceptance?
02:28Super halaga po ng family acceptance.
02:30Kasi tinitingnan ko po ang isang tahanan as a safe space for everyone po.
02:34Particularly po yung mga youth and student na nasa kanilang tahanan.
02:38And I do believe po na if you are accepted by your family,
02:42you can spread your wings and fly towards colorful rainbows like that.
02:47Ayan. Pero, of course, with social media,
02:52mas naging evident din yung pagtaliwas ng ibang tao towards doon sa existence ng Pride Month,
02:59ng masyado doon nabibigyan ng focus ang LGBTQIA plus community sa mga schools, universities.
03:05At some points, mga magulang nagkakaisa para tuligsain yung ganito.
03:09What are your thoughts on this?
03:10My thoughts po is, we are here because we lived in our own confident self.
03:16And hindi naman po namin piniplease ang everyone na tanggapin kami.
03:20We don't, we want to live in our authentic self.
03:24That's why we're fighting for rights, but not to the extent that kailangan tanggalin yung karapatan nila.
03:29Yes, that's why we're fighting for equality and diversity sa university and other, and sa community po namin.
03:35Oo, lalo na no, of course, we're not just students, tayo din ay social media users.
03:41Maraming nang re-reach bait ngayon sa mga badin.
03:45Sinasabi na mental illness daw ito.
03:47Which is mali po.
03:48Huwag mo yan, di ba?
03:49Tao daw titatrato, so tao ka din.
03:52Pero parang hindi yata tao yung pagtrato mo para sabihin na mental health illness ang kabaklaan.
03:58So, what are your thoughts on this?
04:00For me po, hindi naman po siya mental health illness since we are living in a world na po which
04:06is progressive.
04:06At yung mga nag-reach bait?
04:08Yung mga nag-reach bait po ay, for me po, personally, hinahayaan ko lang po sila.
04:14Kasi for me, nililive ko lang po yung buhay ko.
04:17Wala po akong pakialat sa mga sa nagsasabi ng negative towards the LGBT community.
04:21Mas gusto ko po yung mga nag-a-uplift po ng community.
04:24Gusto ko po yung mga nagsosupport ng LGBT community, hindi po yung mga homophobic.
04:28So, push nila yan, bala sila sa buhay nila?
04:30Bala po sila sa buhay nila, basta masaya po tayo.
04:32O, nito na karang buwan na, balita namin ay nakapitong events kayo.
04:35Can you please share some of the highlights na activities na naging bahagi kayo?
04:39One key highlight po ay, nagpunta po kami sa Love Laban.
04:43Sa Bili Man po, tsaka sa Batangas, sa SML pa po.
04:46So, our organization po, hinati po siya, so delegate.
04:49So, noong 27 po siya.
04:51Sa isang wall sa Batangas?
04:53Yes po, sa isang wall sa Batangas.

04:55Okay naman po siya, masaya.
04:57And, during Pride Month po kasi, you are very free, very, very you.

05:05And, I want my co-officers po na maranasan po siya through the power of Pride Month.

05:10And aside from this, also, congratulations din sa inyong dalawang nominations for Best Gender and Inclusivity Initiative.

05:24So, tungkol saan ito, also, we have the Project KKK.

05:34Yung first project po namin sa Gala Mazon po, ako po ang project head niya.
05:37That is the first campus-wide drag race competition inside Batangas State University.
05:42Kasi meron po kami mga drag competition, pero sa colleges lang po siya.
05:45What if paglaban-labanin po natin yung mga colleges to a drag competition?
05:49And it's created a statement po sa Batangas State University because that makes history po.
05:54Yung KKK naman po is about sexual health and productive rights po.
05:58That is katawan, karapatan, at kaalaman po regarding sa SRHR po.

06:51As well as, mayroon po kami mga fun, colorful games like Color Match.
06:55And such as may mga premium po kami.
06:57And also, mayroon po kami mga income-generating projects to our merch po.

07:06LGBTQ plus organizations sa mga schools na patuloy na, syempre, gumawa ng ito activities para mas mapalagana pa yung impormasyon,

07:21To everyone who's fighting for equality and diversity sa aking mga co-student leaders sa mga pride organization,
07:27we believe na we want a more progressive and diverse equality and freedom sa ating university.
