Wagner Moura and Greta Lee take viewers behind the scenes of The Last House for a closer look at the survivalist home at the center of Louis Leterrier's thriller.  The co-stars explore the set and reveal some of the details that helped transform an ordinary family home into the setting for an extraordinary fight for survival. In the film, their characters and children find themselves mysteriously sealed inside with no way to escape as a global disaster unfolds beyond their walls. 00:04We like our house like very natural.

00:06Rustic chic.

00:07Yeah.

00:08This is our living room.

00:09And we have all of our vegetation that we're growing.

00:12Corn here and kale and strawberries and herbs.

00:16Everything is organic.

00:18Pesticide free.

00:19Free.

00:20Living room to table.

00:21This is our supermarket.

00:25This is our kitchen.

00:28This is where we have our daily meetings.

00:31What are the rules with knives?

00:34Don't cut your fingers off.

00:35Don't stop your problem.

00:36We have some green beans and some tomatoes.

00:39Everything is used as a planter.

00:42You need to maximize all possible space.

00:47Jason sort of creates the system of irrigation.

00:50So we have to be able to catch the water from outside the house and bring it in.

00:55It's actually kind of nice.

01:03There are no lights because no electricity.

01:06So we have lots of candles.

01:10We also have what we call chimney fishing.

01:13Hunting animals through the chimney.

01:15We've caught animals such as.

01:19Squirrels.

01:20Foxes.

01:21Seagulls.

01:22Wolves.

01:22There are different tasks that evolve.

01:25She's like a hobbyist that becomes a legitimate farmer.

01:28Kids are very involved in it too.
