00:03Hello, Mr. Minister. Have you...
00:05Have you made a concession, a compromise?
00:08Welcome to Washington, D.C.
00:12Our work is continuing. I'm seeing Jameson now.
00:16We've said we have a bit more work to do to finalize this,
00:19and that's the work we're doing.
00:20Will you stay in Washington until Saturday, Mr. LeBron?
00:25Thanks. I've got to get back in, but we're very happy
00:28with where we ended up.
00:30We worked together across agencies in the American government,
00:33the Secretary of Commerce, the Secretary of Treasury, myself,
00:36the Chief of Staff with the President,
00:38who had a number of phone calls with the Prime Minister.
00:41We're looking at documentation at this point.
00:44I have responsibilities to brief Congress
00:47on what documents might look like,
00:49speaking with American stakeholders, businesses, unions, etc.
00:53We feel confident that we've reached an agreement
00:55that will not only continue to protect American workers,
00:59American jobs, American supply chains,
01:00but really strengthen the North American economy
01:03and create a situation where North America will continue
01:06to be an energy powerhouse, a manufacturing powerhouse,
01:10and align on important things like economic security
01:12and digital security.
01:13So while we certainly, I think, have eliminated
01:15some of the irritants that we've had over the past year,
01:18and we also are taking a strong foot forward on these steps.
01:22Merci, Jameson.
01:23Merci, à bientôt.
01:24Monsieur Le Blanc, avez-vous dû faire des concessions sur les
01:27sur les gestions?
01:28Question of supply management.
01:30I am very confident in these discussions,
01:33and as we finalize the final text, as Ambassador Greer said,
01:38the Prime Minister was very clear.
01:39We needed to protect supply management.
01:41We needed to ensure that the supply management regime
01:45remained entirely intact,
01:48and I'm confident that that's the case.
