Turn on subtitles and enjoy the history of Pucón as we walk through the city on this windy day.

The history of Pucón is one of the most entertaining and fascinating stories you’ll find. It is full of milestones and of a certain mystery—or perhaps uncertainty—due to its closeness to the Villarrica Volcano, which, when least expected, unleashes its fury, reminding us that thanks to it, so much beauty exists in this area.

In this first part, we will walk along Playa Grande in Pucón while narrating the city’s early history. We will pass by the front of the Gran Hotel Pucón and finish the tour at the corner of Holzapfel and Ansorena streets.
