U.S. stock futures were mixed on Wednesday, as the Nasdaq 100 index fell, while Dow Jones and S&P 500 indices rose, following Tuesday's lower close.

Investors are waiting for some direction on the Federal Reserve’s trajectory, following its suspension of guidance, as the minutes of the Fed’s July FOMC meeting will be published today.

Asian markets plunged on Wednesday as South Korea’s KOSPI tumbled over 5% and semiconductor giants SK Hynix and Samsung Electronics suffered steep losses, triggering a sell-side sidecar in Seoul. The regional sell-off came amid escalating US-Iran tensions that pushed Brent crude above $91 a barrel after President Donald Trump ruled out talks with Tehran.

“There are no talks or conversations going on, or scheduled, with the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Trump said in a Truth Social post.

Meanwhile, the 10-year Treasury bond yielded 4.68%, and the two-year bond was at 4.15%. The CME Group’s FedWatch tool projections show markets pricing a 32.8% likelihood of the Federal Reserve hiking the current interest rates during its September meeting.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(NYSE: SPY) and Invesco QQQ Trust ETF (NASDAQ: QQQ), which track the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100, respectively, were higher in premarket on Wednesday. The SPY was up 0.066% at $767.96, while the QQQ declined by 0.042% to $717.21.

02:23to be an earnings print. It's going to be Keysight Technology. The ticker is KEYS, K-E-Y-S. It
02:29rose 3.06%
02:31in the pre-market after reporting better-than-expected third-quarter financial results and issuing strong
02:37fourth-quarter guidance last night. Keysight Q3-adjusted EPS of 3.07% beat the 2.48% estimate,
02:44and sales came in at 1.84 billion, which beat the 1.73 billion estimate. The second stock on our
02:52list
02:52is going to be Mercury Systems. The ticker is MRCY, and it dropped 10.76% after reporting mixed fourth

03:00earnings and financial results. Its quarterly earnings of 37 cents per share missed the analyst consensus
03:06estimate of 38 cents per share. The next stock on our list is going to be SK Hynix. The ticker

03:28The ticker is SHEL, I beg your pardon. It was 0.74% higher as it strengthened a 20-year
03:36partnership
03:37with Hyundai Motors and renewed a global cooperation agreement. The last stock on our list is going to
03:43be Target. The ticker is TGT, and it was 0.41% lower as it is supposed to report earnings
03:50before
03:50the opening bell. Analysts expected earnings of 232 per share on revenue of 26.13 billion. Now,
03:58as of now, these earnings are out. Target's Q2 adjusted EPS of 246 did beat that 233 estimate,
04:05and sales of 26.54 billion beat the estimate of 26.14 billion.
04:202.67% lower as it was a trade-off rule.
04:21The ticker is certainly going to be a fair worth, because the ticket would not be able to
04:21That would extend the ticket, which is a possibility of 10.20, the ticket will be 25.40,
04:21to $22.50.45, to $22.50, to $22.50.45 billion.
